Vardaan and her mother Renu are guests at Malay’s wedding. Kumkum informs Renu about the ‘bad spirits’ of Ghosh Baadi. Renu plans to secretly enter Ghosh Baadi at midnight, but gets caught by Kalpana.

Due to the accusations, Renu decides to go back to Jaipur with Vardaan. On Nandita’s approval, Renu makes Vardaan apply a holy vermilion behind Malay’s ear to save him from evil.

Aparajita is stunned when Malay can’t enter her house to talk to her. Vardaan hears Kalpana and Aparajita’s plan to kill Malay at his engagement. Vardaan tells Nandita about it.

At the engagement ceremony, Vardaan tries to second-guess Kalpana’s plans. Kumkum bribes the pandit to delay the ceremony. Kalpana bribes him triple the amount not to do so.

Renu and Vardaan return to Jaipur. Vardaan asks Aparajita to meet her at a temple. A huge stack of bamboo sticks falls on Aparajita. Aparajita returns from the dead when Malay is about to kill himself.

Vardaan enters Ghosh Baadi disguised as Roshni to help Kalpana with the wedding preparations. Vardaan believes that Kalpana has hidden something valuable in her storeroom. A fire engulfs Ghosh Baadi.

Nandita realises that Kalpana was Harshvardhan’s second wife. Kalpana tells the Mittals about Niranjana’s past. Nandita tells Kalpana that she’ll reveal the truth to Malay.
