Between You And Me on zee one Wednesday 25th January 2023 update, Ira telling about her first rasoi. She asks Bhavik to help her. He jokes on her cooking. She says fine, I will tell Pushpa that I can’t cook. He says I will try to teach you cooking at night. Ira goes and tries to sleep. Akhilesh comes and chants hanuman chalisa. She asks him to sleep and let her sleep. He does jaap again. She thinks how will I sleep. She thinks of Pushpa’s words. She gets the oil for massage. She says your mom said oil massage makes you get sleep. He asks what are you doing, don’t make me do this sin. She asks what shall I do.

He says mum would have told about hair champi, its fine, I will manage. She says so you do it yourself, sleep now. They both get frustrated and argue. They pray and sleep. Pushpa talks to Birju’s pic. She makes
a mannat for Akhilesh’s child. She says you aren’t here with us, you remember my first rasoi. She wishes he was with them. Ira puts her hand on Akhilesh’s neck. He gets away and says let me sleep in peace. Alarm rings. He says who had done this. He keeps alarms near Ira. He says she doesn’t hear any. He asks her to wake up. She pulls him. He asks what are you doing, leave me. She sees him and screams. He says don’t scream, be quiet.
She says I have to go and learn cooking from Bhavik, its my first rasoi tomorrow. He says thank God, I will get peace now. Devina and her children look for the medicine Ira added in juice. Bhavik waits for Ira. Bhoomi goes to him. She asks him will he come and have icecream with her. He goes. Siddhi gets the medicine and says maybe Ira added this in the juice. Devina says someone is coming, some fast. They run. Ira comes and sneezes. She says I caught cold, where is Bhavik, maybe he slept. She starts cooking on her own. She leaves the gas on. She comes to the room.
She goes back and gets phone. Akhilesh gets up and goes to get water. Akhilesh gets the gas smell. Ira goes to ignite the stove. Akhilesh runs and stops her. They fall down. He runs and puts off the stove. He asks her does she has a plan to burn his house. He opens the window. Ira says sorry, I didn’t realize. He says if I didn’t get thirsty today, I would have not got thirsty all life. She says sorry, its difficult to make paratha by following online recipe. Akhilesh asks her to keep her name, sorry. She says fine, I will keep your name, angry. They argue. He helps her in cooking. She adds much water in flour. He asks her why did she add so much water, now add more flour, leave it. He teaches her. He asks her to mix the vegetables.
He screams by the chilli going in his eyes. She says sorry. He washes his face. He asks her to start making roti. He asks her to cut roti round. They make the paratha. She praises herself and thanks him. Devina says what’s Bhoomi doing till now. She calls Bhoomi and asks her to get home right now. Akhilesh asks Ira not to make food bad tomorrow. Ira says I will cook like a masterchef tomorrow. Devina hears them. Devina says so Ira doesn’t know cooking. She smiles…
Ira misunderstanding Akhilesh’s state and treating him. He says I was gargling, can’t you let me brush my teeth with peace. She gets angry on him. She goes to washroom and gets toothpaste for him. He says toothpaste doesn’t have salt. She says this has salt. He says just make sure you make good parathas. She says you see how I cook. He asks her to take bath first. Pushpa comes and asks Ira did she not take bath yet. Ira says Akhilesh was in bathroom, I was waiting till now. Pushpa asks him not to trouble Ira. He says its my first day of job today. She says its good news, Ira is lucky for us. She asks him to make the bedding proper. They worry seeing stethoscope. Akhilesh covers it. Pushpa asks him to arrange a gift for Ira. He agrees.
Ira comes for her
first rasoi. Pushpa says we will beat this doctor’s coat so that we don’t forget to take revenge from that harmful doctor. Ira feels sad and thinks how shall I tell you, I m that doctor. She asks why to do this before a good thing. Pushpa says yes, you are right, we will not do this today. She makes Ira do the puja. She asks her to cook good food, then her husband will be in her hands. Devina asks Ira to control her husband by mind. She says I m also Ira’s Saas, I can give her suggestion. Pushpa says I want to make her good valued like me. Devina says I can teach you to control Akhilesh. Pushpa argues. Ira starts dancing and goes Garba to distract them. She stops their fight. She says I will make aloo paratha. Devina says we won’t have it, make a cheese pizza. Ira worries. She says we will have parathas, just try it once.
Devina asks why are you so tensed, don’t you know cooking anything else than paratha. Ira says no, nothing like that, ingredients aren’t there. Aditya says I have got all the things. Pushpa asks Ira to make pizza. Bhavik guides Ira and says its Aditya’s recipe book. Aditya gets a call and talks to his GF. He sees Ira reading the book and following it. He says she is reading my book, it means she is literate. Devina says I m very hungry. Aditya goes to Devina and says Ira is literate, she is reading my recipe book. Devina says I should go and help Ira. Pushpa says I m her saas, I will go. They go and see Ira reading the recipe. Devina says Ira is reading recipe. Aditya says how is she reading english. Devina says how can she read english, it means she knows english. Ira worries. Ira says I don’t know english, I was seeing photo, Devina requested, so I had to make it, I won’t let my first rasoi fail. Pushpa smiles. She asks Devina and Aditya to get out. She scolds Devina for blaming Ira.
Ira says I m making this for the first time. Pushpa says its big thing you are making this, we will have it, don’t worry. Pushpa goes. Ira feels guilty and eats chillies. She says I will punish myself like this. She adds chilli powder over the pizza to punish Devina.
Pushpa saying pizza looks good, shall I taste it. Devina says villagers don’t eat it. Ira says I have made parathas for you. Pushpa gets glad. Ira goes to clean kitchen. Akhilesh comes and says I have taught cooking to Ira. He sees pizza and asks what’s this, did Ira make this. Pushpa says yes, she has made it. He goes to give her gift. Ira says now they will not mess up with me. Bhavik says how will Bhoomi have chilli pizza. She asks him to go and rest. Akhilesh gifts her a gift for her ritual.
She sees Ramayan. He says this is not just a book, Ram didn’t differentiate between Kaikeyi and Kaushalya, same way I don’t want to differentiate between my mums, Sita has also respected both mums same way, I have a request, till you are here, love and respect
them same way, its my first day at office, I will go. Ira says Sita won’t add chilli in pizza, I have to stop them. She asks Devina not to eat pizza. Devina asks what’s wrong with you. Ira says its not good. Devina says I will eat it and say its good or not. Pushpa argues.
They all eat pizza and drink water. They run away. Pushpa laughs. Ira says it got spicy. Pushpa says it happens. They all have coconut water and get a relief. A man delivers medicines. Devina checks her purse and says what if I show a syrup info, can you tell me what is it. He says yes. She shows the bottle. He says its narco serum. She asks what’s the meaning. He says person just tells the truth after having this. She asks about side effects. He says yes, it has. She pays him money and sends him. She says Ira gave this to you, she is not clever than me, Ira did a big mistake.
Ira asks Akhilesh to have food. She insists and asks him to taste it. He says its not harmful. She says I don’t harm always. He says impossible, its not harmful. She says parathas are nice, accept this. He shows his clothes burning by iron and says you did this. She asks did I do this. He says you have disturbed me. He goes.
Akhilesh gets ready and takes Pushpa’s blessings. Pushpa asks Ira to pack lunch for him. She says Ira will do aarti, I m free of all duties, I m loving this, I m going temple. She goes. Ira does Akhilesh’s tilak and aarti. He says feed me curd and sugar, go. She gets it. He says how did she become doctor. She feeds him. She says I will finish this. He says its prasad, what will others have, till I come back, don’t burn this house. She asks him to take tiffin. He says you shouldn’t call from behind. She says you forgot your tiffin, have it. He taunts her that she did aarti, so danger can come anytime. She says no danger will come. Police comes and asks is this Ira’s house. Ira says yes, I m Ira. He says we have come to arrest you. Akhilesh asks what did she do, who filed the complaint against her.
Devina says I have filed it, you can’t think what she did. She shows the truth serum she has used without prescription. She says its a crime to use this, the side effects of this is it can make a man impotent, did you want to make my son impotent like your husband. Ira says Akhilesh is not impotent, and this medicine doesn’t have such side effects. Devina asks really, are you a doctor to know it. She asks inspector to arrest Ira.
Akhilesh stops her. Devina says its about Aditya’s future, even Pushpa would have not left her, she will get senses after being in jail. Ira gets sad. Akhilesh takes the blame. Devina says don’t cover her crime, don’t emotionally blackmail me. He says I don’t expect this, its your right to get upset. She says fine then, inspector arrest him. He stops Ira from saying anything. He gets arrested. Devina says Pushpa will throw out Ira knowing her son got arrested because of her.
Pushpa comes home. Devina asks Ira to say. Pushpa asks is there any special day, young couples were saying about valentines day. Aditya goes to wish Roshni. Pushpa asks what’s this love. Ira says its lovers’ day, people express love. Pushpa says its Akhilesh and your first valentines day. Devina asks where will they celebrate, in jail? Pushpa asks why jail. Devina says police took your son, this happened because of this girl. She tells everything. Pushpa gets shocked. Ira asks her to listen. Devina asks Pushpa to kick out Ira, she will ruin Akhilesh’s life.
