Between You And Me on zee one Thursday 6th July 2023 update, Ira reaches hospital. She runs to Mishri and tries to wake her up. Nothing will happen to you. Your Mapu is here. Wake up! She calls out to sister. Why hasn’t anyone attended her till now? She starts looking through the stuff. Vansh is recording a video. Mishri sits up. Ira looks at her in shock. Mishri asks Vansh if he knows how much she likes tomato ketchup. I like it all the more now. Ira tries to scold her again but fails. Mishri says now I know what I mean to you.

Stop acting and come out with the truth. Accept it that you are my Mapu. Why would you have come running here otherwise? Ira says I just wanted to check on you as you are poor. If you are really hurt then you wouldn’t have money for your treatment. Vansh tells her that they both know the truth now. Ira tells them to stop
this nonsense but Mishri refuses. She runs to inform everyone.
Akhilesh tells Tanya about a family coming to see Mira. Tanya asks Aditya why he keeps quiet. Do something. Will we get a stranger married in our house? Aditya tries to ask Akhilesh out of it but Akhilesh tells him to get to work. A servant asks Akhilesh to taste the juice. We cannot quite understand the taste. Kabir comes downstairs. Akhilesh drinks the juice and approves it. Doorbell rings. Kabir says it must be the groom and his family. He welcomes them. Akhilesh makes Tanya and Aditya bring sweets for them. Akhilesh starts feeling dizzy. He sits down quietly but is uneasy. Kabir introduces Akhilesh to Shantanu. Kabir smirks seeing Akhilesh’s condition. Akhilesh excuses himself. Kabir asks him to send Mira downstairs. Akhilesh nods.
Kabir thinks Akhilesh had no idea that the same medicine has also been mixed in someone else’s glass as well.
Mira wonders how to say no to Kabir. She too starts feeling dizzy.
Akhilesh somehow manages to reach his old room. Why is my head paining suddenly? Everything is blurry. He knocks at the door. Mira tries to get up but fails. Akhilesh opens the door. He imagines Ira in Mira as soon as he looks at her. He walks up to her feeling emotional. My vision is blurred but I cannot miss recognizing you in this saree. Where were you? I was so lonely without you. He hugs her. Mira tells him she has a severe headache. He tells her not to leave him ever. They stumble on the bed. Akhilesh caresses her hair. Don’t leave me ever. I wont be able to live without you. Don’t go away from me ever! He loses conscious and so does Mira.
Shantanu’s family asks about Mira. Kabir sends Tanya to bring her. He thinks now there will be new twist in the story.
Tanya knocks at the door but there is no response. Is she dead or what? She calls out to Mira and then walks inside. She stands there stunned. Akhilesh is not wearing his kurta and Mira’s bangles are scattered on the bed. Tanya calls everyone upstairs. They are stunned at the sight in front of them. Flashback shows Kabir coming up a while ago and removing Akhilesh’s kurta and Mira’s jewellery. He rests their hands on top of each other. This was what I was waiting for! Flashback ends. Kabir shouts angrily. He throws water on Akhilesh and Mira. They are shocked to see each other thus as soon as they open their eyes. Kabir asks Akhilesh why he ruined Mira’s life. Akhilesh is confused. Ira was here a while ago. Kabir says it isn’t possible. Your wife Ira is dead. This is my sister Mira! Shantanu’s family reprimands Kabir. Akhilesh explains that nothing happened between him and Mira. It is a misunderstanding. Shantanu’s parents speak badly about Mira’s character and break the alliance. Akhilesh tries to explain to them but Kabir warns him to stay away from him. Akhilesh assures him that everything will be fine. Kabir asks him if he will take responsibility in case his sister tries to take her life. Akhilesh says it wont happen. Mira runs downstairs.
Mira stops near the dining table. Kabir’s words echo in her head. She picks up the knife kept on the table. Akhilesh stops her. You very well know that nothing happened between us! Leave this. Mira cries. My Bhai was insulted today because of me. Kabir tells Akhilesh to step aside. You cannot pretend to be nice after ruining her life. Marry her if you don’t want her life to be ruined! You can only say big things but you don’t have the courage to take a stand for my sister. She will remain single her entire life if you leave her side today! What’s the guarantee that she wont attempt this again? Mira says Akhilesh isn’t at fault. Kabir asks her how she will be able to spend her life alone like this. Akhilesh recalls how many girls had refused to marry him because of his operation. Kabir says this insult will take your life. Akhilesh replies that no one will lose their life. I will marry your sister. Aditya asks Akhilesh if he is in his senses. Akhilesh says I don’t know if I made this mistake or not but I wont let anyone be insulted or die because of me. I will marry Mira. Kabir tells him to marry Mira today itself. I don’t trust you. What if you change your mind tomorrow? Akhilesh agrees. Kabir goes to call pundit. Tanya asks about decor. Kabir tells her to shut up. Mira tries to object but Kabir tells her to get ready asap. Tanya takes her upstairs. Aditya goes to arrange clothes for Akhilesh. Kabir thinks he killed two birds with one stone.
Akhilesh is standing teary eyed in a corner.
All the preps have been made. Akhilesh is wearing a sherwani. Kabir asks him why he looks hesitant. Don’t try to back out now. You have to fix your mistake. Tanya brings Mira downstairs. Mira says all of us can talk once. Tanya tells her she has no time to hear her nonsense. Get married and end this drama. Devina is glad that Ira will be out of picture now. Mira and Akhilesh sit in the mandap. Mira looks at Akhilesh who is thinking about Ira. Kabir tells pundit ji to start the pheras. He keeps glancing at the door worriedly. Akhilesh and Mira start taking pheras. Kabir wants it to be over before Ira returns home.
Vansh and Mishri are outside Pandey House. Mishri says Bapu will be thrilled to know the truth. Everything will be fine. Vansh nods. Ira again repeats that she isn’t her Mapu. A family has come to see Mira. I don’t want any drama inside. Mishri speaks of proof. Vansh shows the video to Ira. They hear the sound of chants coming from inside and go to see what’s happening. Ira has the phone with her.
Mishri and Vansh are shocked to see Mira and Akhilesh taking pheras. Ira enters after a second and stops in her tracks in shock. Mishri shouts Bapu. Akhilesh stops to look at her but then resumes his pheras. Mishri and Vansh run to him. Ira is heartbroken but cannot show it. Mishri asks Akhilesh what he is doing. You are married to my Mapu. I wont let you do it. Devina tells her not
to speak between elders. Ira drops her sandals. Mishri tells Devina / Langdu Chacha to let go of her. No one can take my Mapu’s place. She runs to Ira. Stop Bapu. How can you let him marry someone else? Stop him. Tell him not to marry again. He is married to you! Why are you quiet? She runs to bring Pushpa. Meanwhile, Vansh tells Mamu not to marry.
Pushpa asks Mishri what’s happening. Mishri points out that Bapu is marrying angel aunty. He is already married to my Mapu though. Stop him for my sake. He will listen to you. Pushpa asks Akhilesh why he is marrying again. You are already married to Ira Kaki. This isn’t right. Mishri is in tears. Pushpa says I will give you bitter medicine and an injection if you will marry again. I know you are afraid of injection. Drop this idea here itself. Mishri Didi and I are so worried. Good kids don’t act stubborn. She tells Mira to marry someone else. My friend is married. She asks Akhilesh to come. Devina signals Tanya to do something. Tanya takes Pushpa with her. You don’t know what has happened between them. Devina holds Mishri firmly again. Mishri struggles to break free. Kabir tells pundit ji to complete the wedding quickly. Akhilesh and Mira resume taking pheras. Ira is all shaken. Mishri bites Devina’s hand to free herself. She asks Ira to do something. Tell Bapu not to marry again. Ira tells her to stop it. you are an irritating kid. I will ask if I have any question! You don’t need to give me any orders! She asks Kabir what’s happening here. A family was coming to see Mira. Why are you making her marry this loser then? Kabir asks her to come with him. Situation was such that we had no other choice. He tells her the fake story. The pheras continue.
Mishri holds Akhilesh’s leg. Please don’t do this. Mapu said that marrying her meant that you will be with her for 7 births. How can you marry angel aunty then? This is wrong! Akhilesh replies that this would have been wrong only if Ira was alive. She is no more! Mishri calls it a lie. Mapu is right here. You may lie as much as you want but she is my Mapu. Akhilesh says she isn’t your Mapu but Mishri swears upon him. She is indeed my Mapu! Vansh seconds her. Why would she swear falsely upon you? She is Mami! Akhilesh tries to say something but Mishri repeats her words. Akhilesh asks Ira if she is indeed Ira. Ira admits that she is indeed Ira. Everyone is taken aback. Ira says I am your Ira. What were you about to do Akhilesh? Kabir glares at Ira. Akhilesh gets emotional. Ira? Ira breaks into a smile. This is what you all wanted to hear right? I said it. Are you guys happy now? I am tired of hearing her name. Should I also die like your wife? I am tired of saying it! I am not Ira. I cannot be Ira for your sake! For God’s sake, marry anyone, I don’t care! After what I have heard, it is better that you marry her! End this drama asap. She tells Kabir to get it done with quickly. Mishri tells Ira she wont let her lie today. You may try but I know that you are my Mapu. She tells Akhilesh she has a video wherein it is seen that she is indeed Ira. She checks her phone but there is no video. Ira recalls deleting it when the kids had gone inside. Mishri asks Vansh about the video. He checks the phone. It got deleted! Mishri calls it impossible. Ira tells them that there was no such video in the first place. Stop watching Hindi movies. Mishri insists she isn’t lying.
Kabir tells everyone to stop this drama. I wont let my sister’s life be ruined! He makes Aditya take the kids away. Ira sits down on the sofa and tells Akhilesh and Mira to finish it quickly. My eyes are burning due to this smoke. Mishri shouts helplessly. Akhilesh makes Mira wear mangalsutra. Ira recalls her wedding. Mishri requests Ira to stop this wedding. I cannot see anyone else in your place. Akhilesh thinks of his wedding with Ira as he fills Mira’s hairline. He looks away. Pundit ji declares them husband and wife. Mishri breaks down. Ira is trying her best to control her emotions. She wipes her tears before anyone can see her. Tanya, Devina and Aditya smirk.
Ira walks away from there and cries silently. She runs upstairs eventually. Kabir smirks. Mira looks at Akhilesh.
