Between You And Me on zee one Thursday 27th July 2023 update, Chuttan feels bad for Ira. Chanda asks him why he stopped. We must leave right away! He refuses to leave Ira in this condition. She needs me. Chanda asks her if she is his mother. Do as I say. He insists he cannot go. Please let me go Mayi. I want to take care of her. He shrugs her hand away and runs back to Ira. He tells Ira to wake up. I will eat the litti chokha made by you but wake up first!

Devina tells Chanda to take Chuttan. Chanda asks Chuttan to come but he says I cannot leave you if you are in some trouble. I feel the same way about Ira. I cannot leave her alone. I must do something. He pushes Chanda’s hand yet again shocking her and runs inside. Devina tells Chanda not to come back to her crying for help. Ira wont let you take Chuttan once she wakes up. Chuttan sprinkles water
on Ira but Chanda takes him aside. She is nothing to you! Come with me. Chuttan refuses. I cannot leave her alone. She threatens to slap him. She drags Chuttan against his wish. Devina heaves a sigh of relief as she heads inside. Ira is taking Chuttan’s name in her semi conscious state. Please taste it once. I cooked it with so much love. Chanda opens the door and is shocked to see Pandey family returning home. Ira is taking Chuttan’s name again. He runs back to her.
Pushpa asks Chanda where she was going. Chanda says I was looking for you. Ira isn’t well. She passed out. Everyone rushes to her side immediately. Ira wakes up. Akhilesh scolds her for keeping a fast. Chuttan says she isn’t at fault. I forced her to cook. She cooked for me but I dint eat from her hands. She passed out while trying to feed me. Ira says you aren’t at fault. She requests Akhilesh not to scold Chuttan. He says I wont. He tells Chuttan to give some time to them. I know it’s very difficult for you but you will settle down soon. Chuttan holds his ears. Sorry, nice aunty. She asks him to eat first. He agrees. You should eat with me. Everyone smiles. Ira hugs Chuttan. Chanda stares at them in disbelief. Pushpa is overwhelmed. Let’s do the puja and eat. Akhilesh tries to support Ira but Chuttan offers to do it instead. Mishri and Chuttan help Ira stand and hold her from each side. Pushpa tells Akhilesh not to worry about Ira. Her son is here. Akhilesh smiles.
Pushpa gifts saree and shringar to Ira. I forgot to give you sargi or you wouldn’t have passed out. Ira tells her to forget it. I have 2 soldiers on my side to take care of me. It feels as if our family is complete since Chuttan has come. She makes Pushpa sing the special karwachauth song. Mishri and Chuttan sing in chorus after her. Chanda glares at Ira. Pushpa tells Ira to change and dress up before the moon comes out. Chuttan and Mishri take her upstairs excitedly.
Pushpa says we are celebrating karwachauth with much fervour today. She gives a list of items to Chanda to cook. Mishri and Chuttan come downstairs after changing clothes. Chuttan and Mishri argue as to who is the best. Pushpa says a person cannot choose from his both eyes. Who will check on the moon? The kids argue again. Akhilesh tells them to be quiet. You are wasting time fighting here. Go and check on the moon. Whoever returns first after checking the moon will get a gift from me! Chuttan does not know what gift means. Mishri tells him. They start arguing again and run outside.
Pushpa is glad that her family is finally complete. I wont mind it if I die now. Akhilesh tells her not to say so. Devina says be my guest. Pushpa says you will die before me. It is my last wish. Akhilesh tells them not to fight on such an auspicious day. He asks Chanda to bring puja thaali. She obliges.
Mishri and Chuttan come back running. The moon is out! They argue as to who saw it first. Akhilesh says I got a gift for both of you but let’s open your Mapu’s fast first. Mishri holds the puja thaal while Chuttan holds the kalash. Akhilesh asks them what he should hold now. Ira tells him to hold her. He looks at her sweetly from top to toe. Everyone admires Ira. Chuttan calls her heroine. Ira smiles. Mishri calls her an angel. Ira asks them what they want. Why are you both praising me so much? Ira touches Pushpa’s feet. Pushpa puts a kala teeka behind her ear. We are looking so good today! She makes Chanda click their family photos. Ira wants to see the photo but Akhilesh tells her to see the moon first.
Mishri tells Akhilesh not to make Ira walk so much. Carry her in your arms. Chuttan seconds her. She said something right for the first time. Ira tells him against it but Akhilesh lifts her in his arms. They share an eye lock as he takes her upstairs. Chanda wonders what magic Ira has weaved on Chuttan that he forgot her completely. Devina mocks her. I know you must be feeling bad! My condolences! I feel bad for you too. You have lost your son. Pushpa calls out to Devina. Devina excuses herself. Chanda vows to snatch Mishri from Ira. I wont let you live in peace ever!
Akhilesh lifts Ira in his arms. Chuttan and Mishri walk on their either side holding the puja thaal and kalash. Akhilesh decides to do something for Ira as well and changes his clothes. Ira and Mishri shoot him an appreciating glance. Akhilesh smiles. Mishri and Chuttan point at the moon. Ira does puja. Ira asks the kids to stand in the back with their eyes closed. Chuttan is confused but Mishri asks him to do as told. She takes him to a corner and tells him to close his eyes. Ira romances with Akhilesh. Mishri and Chuttan hold each other’s ears to stop themselves from overhearing their convo. Their eyes are still closed. Chuttan asks Ira if the fast is complete. Akhilesh and Ira step away from each other. Ira feeds water to Akhilesh. I know you haven’t eaten anything since morning. He
nods. I dint even drink water. Ira kisses Akhilesh as she feeds him cashew. Akhilesh hugs her sweetly. He tells the kids to open their eyes. Ira feeds them sweets one by one. Chuttan asks Ira to come downstairs. Eat properly or you will fall sick. Akhilesh nods. Take her with you. Chuttan takes Ira downstairs. Mishri tells Akhilesh that Chuttan troubles her a lot but he takes very good care of Mapu. Akhilesh agrees. He has mixed up with your Mapu but not with us. We should find his foster mother from somewhere and make her confess the truth in front of Chuttan. He will accept us then only. Where to find her though? Mishri shows him a pic of Chuttan and Ramavatar. Chanda’s pic is torn. Chanda comes to call them downstairs for dinner. Mishri goes with her.
Chanda is fixing Mishri’s bed. Chuttan scares her from behind but she does not react. He understands that she is upset with him. I know you cannot stay upset for long. Please forgive me. She keeps a condition. You will come with me right away!
Mishri and Akhilesh are looking at Chuttan and Ramavatar’s picture. Ira asks them what they are up to but Akhilesh hides the photo. She probes them a little but Akhilesh cooks up a story. Ira asks him why he lies when he does not know how to. She asks Mishri why she is lying when she never lies. What are you both hiding? Whose photo is this?
Chanda closes the door. What dint I give you that you want to stay with these strangers? Listen to me carefully. I will snatch Mishri from Ira as she has stolen my son from me! Now I will snatch her daughter from her and leave this house for forever!
Mishri tells the truth to Ira. Chuttan had kept this photo in his luggage. Seems like he misses his foster mother very much. Mishri shows the photo to Ira. Her Mayi’s photo is torn. Akhilesh shakes his head at Mishri.
Chuttan requests Chanda against it. It will break Ira’s heart. He gives her his swear. Please don’t take Mishri with you! Chanda scolds him. You don’t have time for anything except your Acchi wali Kaki. Drink milk. He tries to say something but she forces him to drink milk. He requests her not to do this to Ira. She takes very good care of me. Please don’t take Mishri away. He passes out on the bed.
Ira says we don’t need to find that woman. I don’t want her to come in front of Chuttan. I am here. I am his real mother. Akhilesh says we know that but he is missing her deep down. Ira says he would have told me if had missed her. She takes him with her.
Chanda makes Chuttan lie down properly. Forgive me son but no one can stop me now. I mixed Jaifal in your milk. You will wake up in the morning only. I will leave with Mishri by then. She leaves. Ira, Akhilesh and Chuttan enter. Ira asks Akhilesh how a kid can sleep so peacefully if a kid is tensed. Akhilesh says you have only seen him sleeping not when he was crying. Ira gets thoughtful. She walks out of the room unhappily. Akhilesh tells Mishri to stay with Chuttan. I will speak to Ira. Mishri nods.
Akhilesh tells Ira not to be sad. You saw tears on his cheeks. Who will think about his emotions if not us? I know it is difficult for you but please understand. she requests him not to find that woman for her sake. I will make Chuttan very happy. He will forget that he used to stay someone else in the past. He comforts her. We wont talk on this topic ever again. We will do as you say. She rests her head in his lap. Akhilesh feels bad for Ira. It is certain that Chuttan must accept this family and house wholeheartedly. It will happen only when his other Mayi will tell him the truth. Our family will be complete then. it has become all the more important to find her now. Don’t know where we will find her. He looks at the photo again. He notices the mark on Chanda’s arm and recalls seeing this mark on Chanda’s arm in the living room once. His eyes widen in shock.
Mishri hears a thud and sits up. She tries to wake up Chuttan but he is fast asleep. Who would be outside at this hour? She steps out of the room worriedly. The noise came from here. Chanda walks up to Mishri. She asks her what she is doing here at this hour. Chanda lies that she couldn’t sleep. Mishri asks her what she is doing here. Chanda says I was waiting for you. Mishri shoots her a confused look.
