Between You And Me on zee one Friday 28th July 2023 update, Akhilesh notices the kerchief over Mishri’s mouth. He asks her to let go of Mishri and asks Mishri if she is fine. Chanda apologizes to him. Akhilesh says you are taking revenge by stealing Mishri from us. You are Chuttan’s Mayi! You kept a son away from his parents all these years.

Do you know how big a sin it is to separate a kid from his parents? Chuttan is Ira and my son. You have kept him away from us in the past also. Why are you doing it again? She refuses to answer any of his questions. I will punish you for snatching Chuttan from me. She pushes Akhilesh and runs towards the door with Mishri. Akhilesh tells Chanda that the door is closed. You wont be able to run away. I wont let you go without answering my questions. I know you would do something like this so I stopped all your
exits. You know what it means to keep a kid away from its parents yet you were trying to take Mishri away from us! Chanda says Chuttan is my life. I cannot see him with Ira. She snatched my happiness from me. I will do the same to her. No one can stop me, not even you! She breaks a vase and points it at Mishri’s neck. He warns her not to harm Mishri or she will be in big trouble. She asks him to open the door. I will kill her otherwise. He gives in. He shows her the key. I will open the door. He walks towards the door but then manages to push her away from Mishri. She tries to attack him but he proves out to be stronger. Mishri tells him to be careful. He pushes her away. Devina comes downstairs hearing the commotion. Pushpa and Ira also come there.
Ira questions Akhilesh. What’s going on? Mishri hugs her. Ira asks her why hasn’t slept till now. Devina hopes Chanda isn’t caught. I will be thrown out of the house if she takes my name. Ira asks Akhilesh again. Chanda looks at him in shock. Akhilesh says everyone should know the truth. She requests him not to tell the truth. Akhilesh lies that someone was trying to kidnap Mishri. Ira asks Mishri if she is fine. Who were they? Akhilesh says Chanda scared them away and saved Mishri. Mishri wonders why Akhilesh is lying. Akhilesh gives credit to Chanda yet again. Mishri thinks there must be some reason behind it. I must support him too. She thanks Chanda with folded hands. Thank you for saving my life today. Chanda feels bad. Chuttan comes downstairs and calls her Mayi. You did not harm Mishri right? Answer me, Mayi. Ira looks at him in shock / confusion.
Chuttan says Ira will be in pain if something happens to Mishri. I cannot see her in pain. Ira asks him why he is calling Chanda Mayi. Chuttan again asks Chanda if she harmed Mishri. Mishri says I am fine. Chuttan rubs his eyes and looks around in shock. Ira asks him if Chanda is his Mayi. Akhilesh admits that it is true. Chanda has raised Chuttan. She is his Mayi! Pushpa asks him what he is saying. Chanda is Chuttan’s Mayi? She asks Devina why she brought Chanda here after knowing her truth. Devina feigns ignorance. She asks Chanda to leave but Ira stops her. Ira asks Akhilesh how he got to know this. Akhilesh reminds her of the photo. The missing photo was of Chanda. I recognized her from the tattoo on her arm. Chanda hides her tattoo.
Akhilesh says I wanted to know why Chanda has come here. I thought to catch her red handed but she hasn’t done anything wrong. She saved our daughter today! Chanda breaks down. Don’t embarrass me now. She admits that she came here with a bad intention. I am not a nice person. I was the one who tried to kidnap Mishri. Pushpa says I brought you here, gave you work thinking you are a nice woman but you were plotting against us. How dare you touch Mishri? She asks Akhilesh why he is saving Chanda. Ira agrees. It means she is the same woman stole my son the moment he was born. Why are you covering up for her misdeeds? He offers to explain but she asks him to call police right away. I don’t even want to see her face! Chuttan looks at Ira in shock. Please don’t send my Mayi to jail. I know she was wrong but she is my Mayi after all. She slept on an empty stomach to feed me. She let Bapu beat him just so I was saved. I will listen to everything that you will say. I wont trouble Mishri and do as you say but please don’t send her to jail. He kneels down in front of them and cries. Chanda kisses him on his face and hugs him tight. Please forgive me. I turned blind in your love. I made a very big mistake. I deserve to be punished. I don’t deserve your love or their forgiveness. He denies. My Mother India never lies. I cannot let you go to jail. She hugs him and cries. Ira asks Chanda to leave right away. I don’t even want to see your face.
Akhilesh tries to make her understand but in vain. Chanda and Chuttan share another tearful hug. Devina asks her to leave. Chuttan holds Chanda’s hand as she turns to go. I miss you very much. Please don’t leave me alone. She hugs him yet again. I love you very much son. Devina tells her to stop her drama and leave. Chanda tells Ira she knows she does not deserve forgiveness. I am leaving my son with you. Please take care of him. Ira tells Chanda not to expect any such thing from her. Why will I take care of him? You will have to take care of him as he considers you his Mayi. She tells Akhilesh she wont be able to do it. It would be a sin to separate Chuttan from you. I wont be able to do it! Pushpa is stunned. Ira says Devki gave birth to Krishna but everyone calls him Yashoda’s son. Chanda is Chuttan’s Yashoda. How can I separate them? You saw how much she has stooped in her love. I love my son but how can I ignore the love and tears in her eyes? She holds Chanda’s hand and tells Chuttan to stay with his Mayi. Chanda hugs Chuttan. Ira hides her tears. Akhilesh looks at her intently.
Chuttan asks Ira if he can actually stay with his Mayi. Ira controls herself somehow. She tells Akhilesh to make arrangements for their stay. Chanda asks her how she can repay her debt. Ira tells her to raise her son well. Chuttan hugs Ira. Mishri hugs her from the other side. Ira tells Chanda to take Chuttan from here first thing in the morning. She heads to her room. Pushpa and Akhilesh are in tears whereas the kids seem happy.
Ira breaks down as soon as she enters in her room. She cries thinking about Chuttan. Akhilesh sits next to her. You need a lot of courage to break your own heart. Why does God show us dreams which are bound to break? Akhilesh says Chuttan wont be able to look at them as his own. He has always considered Chanda his mother. Holding onto someone else’s dream
in our hands is bound to break our hearts! Ira is relieved that Chuttan will be happy with Chanda. She has made many sacrifices for Chuttan. She will always keep him happy. Akhilesh says you have made the biggest sacrifice. He wipes her tears and holds her close. We have become used to 2 kids in the house. I saw your mail. You are still trying to reverse the effect of my operation. We will make a cricket team once you succeed. He hugs her. I love you a lot more than before now. She tells him to be with her always. I can face any problem till the time you are with me. He holds her close.
Next morning, Ira wakes up late. Mishri and Chuttan bring breakfast for her. Mishri speaks in broken English while Chuttan’s English is worst. Mishri teases him. Ira asks them who has made this breakfast. Chuttan says we have made it for her. Mishri says he was yawning while I was cooking. He asks her who was peeling potatoes then. They end up arguing. Ira looks at the parathas. Chanda brings tea for Ira. She smiles. The day has started on a beautiful note. She asks Chanda to sit and eat with her but Chanda politely declines. Ira and the kids help her sit down. Mishri feeds her parathas while Chuttan feeds Ira. Akhilesh says no one missed me here. I brought a surprise for you guys. Ramavatar enters. Chanda and Chuttan smile in relief. They hug him tight. Chanda folds hands in front of Akhilesh. Chuttan tells Akhilesh that his Bapu is not a murderer which is why police let him off. Chanda tries to tell the truth to Akhilesh but he says that he knows it already. I had a word with lawyer. You will have to do community service for some time. Ramavatar can work in my factory near Silvassa. He gives them keys of their new home. Chuttan is my kid. I will bear all his expenses. Akhilesh kneels down in front of him. Ira tells her to stand. Ramavatar says we wont be able to repay you ever. Ira says we can do this much in exchange of you taking care of our son. Akhilesh asks Chuttan if he will come to meet them. He nods. I have to teach Mishri how to play marbles. Mishri and Chuttan start arguing again. Ira tells them to stop now. The cat and mouse game has begun again! Ramavatar asks Akhilesh to allow them to leave. Akhilesh tells him to take care of his son. Ira asks them to go downstairs. I will freshen up and join you. Akhilesh and Ira wipe their tears.
Pushpa says I thought Mishri and Chuttan will celebrate their first bhaidooj but Chuttan is going now. She tells Mishri to do Chuttan’s aarti before he leaves. Mishri nods. She does his aarti and ties rakhi on his hand. Akhilesh brings gifts and crackers for them. Mishri and Chuttan burst some firecrackers.
Akhilesh gives his locket to Chuttan. It has protected me till date. It will protect you now. Chuttan also kisses him cutely in return. Chuttan hugs Mishri. Her eyes well up. He touches Pushpa’s feet. She blesses him. These are happy tears. Devina says even I am crying. He says I cannot see it. She says I am crying from inside. she blesses him as he touches her feet. Chuttan hugs Ira.
