Aparajita keeps thinking about Malti’s words and wonders why she spoke that way even after learning the truth. She decides to have a conversation with Malti. Meanwhile, Ramgopal breaks down in front of Malti, saying he has failed to solve Aradhya’s marriage problems and could not save Aparajita’s marriage either. He cries as he admits that he has lost. Malti comforts him and reminds him that he has not failed because he has done everything possible to fulfil his daughter’s dreams. She encourages him not to lose hope. Aparajita overhears their conversation and decides not to approach them at that moment. She quietly walks away.

Ramgopal tells Malti that she is supporting Aparajita, but Aparajita has already left her in-laws’ house and must have suffered a lot there. He questions how Malti can advise her to return to her in-laws’ house after everything she has been through. Malti then shows him a letter supposedly written by Aparajita, in which she claims that she wants to leave Lalit because he cannot provide her with a luxurious lifestyle. Malti insists that this is Aparajita’s problem and says she should not support her decision. She believes everything will be fine once Aparajita returns to her in-laws’ house. However, Ramgopal knows his daughter well and feels that something is not right.
Elsewhere, Aparajita tells Rashmi that she cannot understand how Malti could advise her to return to Bhopal. Rashmi asks whether she included everything in the letter, and Aparajita confirms that she did. Rashmi is surprised that Aparajita managed to tolerate such treatment for four years. Aparajita explains that she was happy when she married Lalit because he did not even demand dowry. However, she discovered his true nature after their marriage.
Aparajita reveals that Lalit drinks alcohol and physically abuses her. He also took her jewellery, claiming that he wanted to start a new business, but he never did anything. Whenever she questioned him about the business, he would shout at her. Things became worse when debtors started coming to their house. Aparajita then decided to find a job, but Lalit refused to let her work. He even threatened to commit suicide if she wore a sari. She further reveals that Lalit took out a loan in her name and never made any repayments. Rashmi assures Aparajita that she has done nothing wrong.
Aparajita explains that she once tried to stop Lalit from drinking, but he beat her for interfering. Rashmi feels sorry for her and gives her a hug. She then asks why Aparajita never went to the police. Aparajita says she believed Lalit would change if they managed to get enough money, but she lost all hope after a particular incident. When Rashmi asks what happened, Aparajita says she is not ready to talk about it. She then decides to visit Kapda Bazaar to look for work.
Meanwhile, Lalit drinks alcohol and thinks about how fortunate he is to have his in-laws under his control. He is pleased that Aparajita has no idea he changed the letter she wrote to her parents. Looking at the original letter, Lalit laughs and says Aparajita’s family will never find out what she went through in Bhopal.
Elsewhere, Rakshit tells Sudha that he cannot figure out how to reach their destination. Arvind asks him not to worry and directs him to Kapda Bazaar. Rakshit is surprised that Arvind remembers the place. Arvind explains that he used to sell sarees there during his early days. He then goes inside, while Rakshit tells Sudha that he will find the designer and make sure the designer stitches a saree for Shastri. Sudha expresses confidence that Rakshit will find the designer in Kapda Bazaar.
