The stepdaughters on joy prime
Daphne thanking Grace for her help. She invited her for a meal and the two had a chat. Grace told Daphne that her parents abandoned her but someone finally adopted her.
Froilan leaft to meet with Mayumi. He called to tell her that he would be late but he was on his way. Isabelle went after him carrying a knife but some workers carrying supplies bumped into her. When she got up, Froilan was already gone.
When Froilan got into a taxi, Jigs saw him and followed him. He intercepted the taxi and told Froilan to get out. He aimed a gun at Froilan and asked to have the phone with the video back. Froilan threw the phone away and told Jigs to get it. With Jigs distracted, Froilan was able to run away. Jigs told his friend to find the phone and went after Froilan.
When Jigs caught up with Froilan, he tried to shoot him but the gun got jammed.
The two fought but Jigs stabbed Froilan. He then left his body at a dumpsite and covered it. He went back to get the phone but his friend said that he couldn’t find it. Jigs said it was fine and called Isabelle to tell her that he already took care of Froilan.
Meanwhile, Mayumi and Francis told Hernan everything they knew about Isabelle’s involvement with Froilan.
They told him that Isabelle hired him to kill the baby he was going to have with Luisa. Francis also told Hernan that Froilan was his brother. Hernan got impatient when Froilan didn’t show up and decided that he would meet him another time.
Mayumi and Francis stayed to wait for the lawyer.
When the lawyer arrived, Froilan had not yet arrived and he wasn’t answering his phone. Mayumi thought that he might have changed his mind. Francis said that Froilan was sincere about helping them and would not back out. They then worried that Isabelle might have done something to him.
When Hernan went to his office, Jigs’ friend asked to speak to him. He had taken the phone and decided to get all the money for himself. He told Hernan that he had a video incriminating Isabelle and asked for one million. Hernan asked to see it first and saw Isabelle plotting the fire at Mutya organics. He however refused to pay the guy so he took back the phone and ran away.
Hernan called home to ask if Isabelle was there.
Mylene checked online and saw a photo that Isabelle posted. She was out celebrating with Nikki and Ariana so Hernan went to confront her. He slapped her and asked her if she was involved in the fire at Mutya. Isabelle denied it but Hernan said he already saw the video. He asked Isabelle to come clean and he wouldn’t report her. Isabelle admitted that she planned the fire but did not know that there were people inside.
She blamed Mayumi for it and Hernan was furious that she would not see her own faults. Isabelle promised to change but Hernan knew it would not happen. He therefore said he would disown her to strip her of her money and power. The bartender working at the place heard their argument and recorded it on her phone.
Mayumi and Francis were on the way to see Isabelle at the bar after seeing her post online. They suspected she had done something to Froilan, hence why she was celebrating.
They were stuck in traffic so Mayumi called the bar to ask if Isabelle was still there. The bartender told Mayumi what happened and sent her the video of Isabelle confessing that she caused the fire at Mutya organics.
Grace went home without Jenjen and told Luisa that she lost her. They left to look for Jenjen with Sasha.
Isabelle stopped Hernan as he was leaving and begged him not to disown her because she was the only family she had. Hernan would not listen to her so Isabelle got angry. She said that he did not love her and she was glad that Luisa died.
