Mayumi leaving to meet with Luisa and Joel in the church. Sasha called to talk about the argument Mayumi had with Francis but Mayumi said it wasn’t important since she was going to see her mother. Her phone died during the call and Mayumi thought it was fine since she already agreed where to meet Luisa and Joel.
As Joel was leaving Isabelle’s house, he tried to call Mayumi but her phone was off. He got in his car and went to meet with her. Isabelle was desperate to stop him so she called Jigs (Froilan’s friend who helped kidnap Luisa and Mayumi) and said that she had a job for him. She asked Jigs to meet him at the church where Mayumi was waiting. Isabelle’s friend Ariana arrived and went with Isabelle to. Isabelle told her that she had to kill Joel to stop him from telling Mayumi the truth. Ariana suggested killing Mayumi instead and Isabelle said it wouldn’t be a good idea since she would be the first suspect.
When Joel arrived at church, he went to see Mayumi and told her that Luisa couldn’t come because Isabelle stopped her. He told Mayumi that Isabelle had been hypnotizing Luisa and that’s how she was able to control her. He was about to tell her everything else Isabelle had done but he suddenly got shot.
Jigs called Isabelle to tell her that he already killed Joel. Isabelle asked him whether Joel got to talk to Mayumi and Jigs said it was only for a moment. Isabelle was worried that Joel was able to tell Mayumi something important.
Mayumi rushed Joel to the hospital. As they waited for the doctors to attend to him, she talked to Sasha and Mum Baby about who could have attacked Joel. Sasha told her that Isabelle could have done it to stop him from talking to Mayumi.
Isabelle arrived at the hospital feigning concern for Joel but Mayumi accused her of having Joel shot. They fought as Isabelle denied Mayumi’s accusation and Mayumi told her that Joel would tell them everything once he was awake. The doctor however came out to tell them that Joel didn’t make it and Isabelle was relieved.
At Joel’s wake, Isabelle asked Joel’s wife not to let Mayumi attend the wake to avoid causing a scene. The guards stopped Mayumi and Sasha from going inside and Mayumi was upset because she wanted to see Luisa. Luisa came out to tell Mayumi to leave and Mayumi tried to tell her that Isabelle had been poisoning her mind. Luisa got mad and pushed Mayumi to the ground. She refused to hear what Mayumi had to say and told her to go.
Mayumi was surprised at how violent Luisa acted towards her. She therefore decided to consult a doctor specialized in hypnosis to find out how to help Luisa. Mayumi and Sasha attend a medical convention about hypnosis and asked to talk to an expert. They couldn’t attend the session because the slots were full but they got an appointment with a doctor called David.
When Mayumi and Sasha went to the doctor’s office, Luisa and Isabelle were leaving. They were both shocked to realize that David was the same doctor hypnotizing Luisa. They waited for them to leave before going to see the doctor. When he asked for their names, they gave him false identities. Mayumi asked everything about hypnosis and the doctor explained to her how it worked. He also mentioned that all hypnosis sessions were recorded.
When the doctor left, Mayumi and Sasha broke into his office to steal Luisa’s files. The doctor left his laptop behind and Mayumi found Luisa’s records. She saw the videos where the doctor planted different memories in Luisa’s mind, blaming Mayumi for the loss of her child. Sasha gave Mayumi a USB drive so they could copy the footage and watch the rest at home.
