Daphne going to see Hernan in his office. She asked him about his schedule since he did not seem to have anything outside work and she was glad when he confirmed that he was no longer meeting with Luisa and Mayumi.
Her plan is to replace Brenda in Hernan’s life.
When Mayumi and Sasha went home, they found Luisa and Mum Baby talking to the people at the bank. They were there to seize the property since they had not been making their payments.
They however said that they could have the shop back once they began to make the payments. They allowed them to go inside and get their things after Aunt Baby fainted. Luisa was hopeful that they would be able to make the payments with Mayumi’s new job so she was not able to tell her mother that she did not get hired.
The following morning, Mayumi went to Coco Line and talked to Hernan. She asked him if the job he offered was still open and he agreed to hire her. He was glad that she accepted the job so that he could find a way to repay her. He posted Mayumi at their new Coco Bella line since Isabelle worked at a different department and the two of them would not run into each other.
The project manager of Coco Bella who was Mayumi’s boss resigned due to a family emergency. Daphne suggested that Hernan let Isabelle take control of the project. He did not want to do it because that was the department Mayumi would work at. He tried to transfer her elsewhere but there were no available vacancies.
Mayumi and Isabelle ran into each other as they were heading into a meeting for Coco Bella. Isabelle wanted to know what Mayumi was doing there and she said she worked there under Eliza. Isabelle said that she was Mayumi’s new boss and fired her. Hernan however said that no one would get fired. He asked to speak to Isabelle and told her to act accordingly as a boss or to let go of the position he had given her.
Mayumi went to the washroom to clean the coffee Isabelle poured on her and ran into Francis. She was upset seeing him there and blamed him for all her misfortune because he was the reason why Isabelle harassed her. Francis asked why she was there and she said she worked there. Francis was appalled but told her to behave since they were at a place of work.
Isabelle decided to give Mayumi a chance by giving her a task. She asked Mayumi to correct an issue with one of the products within one day and that would determine whether she got fired. Mayumi was worried but Hernan assured her that she could handle it.
Mum Baby told Luisa that she should have allowed Mayumi to work for Hernan. Luisa said it was fine since Mayumi had a new job and she did not trust Hernan’s intentions.
The other women who were listening to them said that Hernan may be interested in Mayumi since he just became a widower and Luisa began to get suspicious.
The following day, Mayumi did tests for the products and failed the first time. Isabelle told her to leave but Mayumi said she could figure it out and asked her to be patient. On her second attempt, she fixed the product and Hernan was delighted to welcome her to the team. He also invited her to a company party that evening.
When Mayumi went home to get ready, she wanted to tell Luisa that she accepted Hernan’s job.
Sasha interrupted her so she decided to tell her later. She went with Sasha to the party as her plus one. There, they saw Francis and Isabelle together and Mayumi found it interesting that the two knew each other.
Someone who worked at the company that hired Mayumi before went to their house to give something to Luisa. She asked about their company party but the girl said that their company did not have any events. Luisa realized that Mayumi lied to her and went to Coco Line. We ended as she arrived.
