The Good son on zee one Friday 28th April 2023 update, Vedant asking Inspector not to arrest Ramesh. Dadi tells Vedant that whom he is stopping from getting arrested is the criminal. She tells that Ramesh doesn’t deserve this and tells Ramesh that that if his father would have been alive then he would have died seeing his evilness. She tells that his birth is a curse to her womb and is about to stab him, but Vedant holds Dadi’s hand and asks her not to kill Ramesh, instead kill him.

Dadi asks Ramesh to be thankful to Vedant and tells Vedant how can I kill you, but will kill myself. She tries to kill herself when Vedant snatches the knife and throws on the floor. Dadi says I will forgive Ramesh if he apologizes to you right now.
Gomti scolds Ramesh for about to kill Dadi. Dadi asks Ramesh to apologize to Vedant and shouts at him. Ramesh folds his hand. Vedant says I always thought you as my babu ji, and have no complaints with you. Ramesh apologizes to Dadi and says you went to Coma because of me. Vedant asks Dadi to give him a chance and reminds her of Dada ji’s words. Dadi says you only tried to unite the family and not anyone else. She says you have risked your marriage. Dadi tells Ramesh that he has done a sin and have to do penance. Sumiti asks if these papers are fake. Dadi says there will be no partition in the house and everyone will stay united. She asks Ramesh not to act. She is about to fall. They make her have water.
Manjula cries, feeling bad knowing the truth. She is about to touch his face, but runs from there feeling bad. Vedant goes following her. He asks her to open the door and says I want to talk. He gives his promise to her. Manjula cries. Dadi, Sanju and others ask her to open the door. Manjula opens the door and says how to apologize to you and says today I can’t look in your eyes, I have hurt you unintentionally. Vedant says why my Bhagwan is bending down in front of me. Manjula says you said many times that you are not wrong. I couldn’t understand why did you do this. Vedant asks her to stop crying if she wants to see him happy. Manjula kisses on his forehead. She tells Purva that you have done so much for this family, stayed away from your husband and acted divorce drama. Dadi says we will go to temple and pray for their new beginning. Manjula says Pankhudi also helped them. Sanju asks them to get them married soon. Manjula says ok, we will decide the date. Dadi says marriage shall happen soon.
Pankhudi comes to her room and gets angry, says you will not divorce Purva. She burns the divorce papers which was not signed by Vedant and says I love him truly, he has to become mine. She looks at Vedant’s pics and says I love you Vedant, I don’t want to marry Sanju. Sanju tells Ramesh that his marriage date will be finalized soon. He says Vedant, Dadi and Maa acted in the party. Ramesh gets up and asks him to take his name with respect and not to badmouth about him. He says Vedant saved my Amma and me, and what did I do? Sanju asks him to get Vedant’s signs on the property papers. Ramesh says it is his mistake that he is talking like that and tells that they will not ask Vedant to give property.
Pankhudi and Sanju sitting for the puja. Vedant rests his shoulder on Purva’s shoulder and tries to get close to her. While everyone is sitting for puja, Ramesh sees the fire and shouts. Pankhudi acts seeing her dupatta catching fire. Sanju blows the fire and lifts Pankhudi as she pretends to be unconscious. Gomti says someone call Vedant. Pankhudi recalls lighting her dupatta and thinks her love will come running to her, and Purva can’t stop him. Ramesh doubts on Pankhudi. Manjula calls Vedant. Vedant and Purva’s romance get interrupted, as he attends the call and tells that they are coming home.
In the hospital, everyone is worried for Pankhudi. Doctor tells that treatment is going on. Ramesh asks Dadi to come home. Dadi says she can’t rest until Pankhudi is fine.
Manjula asks her to go home and tells that she will take care here. Sanju feels bad. Vedant and Purva rush there. Purva asks how is Pankhudi? Vedant goes to meet Doctor. Gomti tells about Pankhudi’s kundali have manglik dosh. Manjula says we couldn’t take care of her. Sanju says it is my mistake, what is her mistake if she is manglik. Purva says she is not manglik. Gomti says Pankhudi only gave the kundali. Purva tells that she is sure that Pankhudi is not manglik and says you should have asked nani or me. Ramesh brings Dadi home. Dadi says she is worried for Pankhudi. Ramesh says I will come in sometime and goes to the hall where puja happened. He gets the dupatta and finds kerosene oil smell in it. He thinks something is wrong, he can’t take Pankhudi’s intentions lightly.
Vedant talks to Doctor, who says that he will get her other tests done. Purva comes inside and says nothing will happen. They see the burn mark on her hand. Vedant asks her to relax. Ramesh comes to Pankhudi’s room and thinks to unveil Pankhudi’s secret. He gets Vedant and Pankhudi’s pics in the cupboard and then many pics in the drawer. He thinks jija and saali’s pic. He searches for more proofs and gets her diary. He thinks Pankhudi loves Gudadi lal. He finds the kerosene can in her room and thinks so this is the matter.
Doctor asks Vedant and Purva to take Pankhudi home and gets discharged paper ready. Pankhudi gets down from the bed and says I want to go to washroom. She intentionally slips on Vedant. Vedant asks them to go and says I will complete the hospital formalities. Pankhudi thinks you have chosen me and not Purva. Sanju asks Manjula to make less spicy food for Pankhudi. Narendra and Sumiti tease Sanju. Gomti also teases him. Sanju says he can do anything for his would be wife.
Pandit ji calls Dadi and tells about the mahurat. Manjula says marriage can’t happen as she is unwell. Sanju says he will marry her in any circumstances. Ramesh is silent. Vedant brings Pankhudi and Purva home. Pankhudi acts and tells that she can’t walk.
Purva asks Vedant to lift Pankhudi and take her inside. Music plays….yeh pyaar tune kya kiya….Vedant lifts her and takes her inside. Dadi asks everyone to take care of Pankhudi. Sanju says he will take care. Vedant brings Pankhudi holding her in his arms.
Ramesh thinks this girl is very clever. Sanju asks her if she is fine. He asks her to tell if she wants to go somewhere. He says he will make her eat and then will eat later. Sumiti asks them to talk about marriage. Sanju says marriage shall happen on the decided date.
