Hazel and Joseph arrives at school. Hazel noticed that all the students were looking at her and she wondered what was going on. Cassie rushed over and showed them the picture taken of Hazel and Enzo saying that it was all over school.
Enzo also received applause from the guys at school for ‘scoring’ with Hazel. He was puzzled about what they were talking about so they showed him the picture. Enzo was asking them where they got it when Joseph arrived and punched him. He and Enzo started to fight until Hazel made them stop. She then ran off into the ladies washroom where she locked herself in one of the toilets. Some girls came in and started talking about how Hazel had thrown herself at Enzo and was even hanging around Joseph. Hazel was upset about the talk about her so she left school and went home.
Joseph went home as well with bruises on his face and Raquel got mad at him for getting into yet another fight. Joseph explained to her that something happened to Hazel and he had to defend her.
They were yet to contact Anthony and Raquel was worried that he was the one who had stolen the company’s money after all. She told Joseph that she was started to think that Anthony had lied to them all along.
Obet went to see Sabina at school and asked to have a snack with her. Sabina said that she was meeting her father for dinner but Obet insisted saying that it wouldn’t take long. Sabina did not want to be late for dinner because her father wouldn’t like it. Obet asked her if she had told her father about them but Sabina said they had to take things slow so that Ernesto could eventually accept their relationship. Obet however got upset and left.
He arrived late for work at the restaurant and the manager gave him an earful for getting there late. He told him to start cleaning the dishes but Obet accidentally dropped them and they broke. The manager called him stupid since he couldn’t accomplish a simple task such as washing dishes so Obet got mad and quit his job.
When Obet got home, the family was gathering their money for the month’s expenses. Joseph asked Matias if Obet managed to take him for dialysis and added that he could always go if Obet was not available. Obet got mad since Joseph wanted to take over his duty too but Raquel told them not to argue.
Obet went to see Arthur and told him what happened at work. Arthur said he would look like a loser now that he didn’t have a job. He added that he would teach Obet how to make money so that his family would not look down on him.
The two went out to have dinner at an expensive restaurant but Arthur did not bring any money with him. He stole a wallet from a lady sitting next to their table but Obet said it was wrong and gave it back. Arthur was disappointed and told Obet that it was a way for him to earn some easy money. He therefore asked that he follow his lead the next time.
At school the following day, Enzo tried to apologize to Hazel for the picture saying that he had nothing to do with it. Hazel refused to believe him saying that she always got hurt when she was with him.
Joseph saw the two of them and got mad. When Hazel went to speak to him, he told her not to tell her how Enzo had hurt her because she was the one who always forgave him then ended up hurt. Hazel asked him what his problem was and Joseph said that he got hurt whenever she was hurt because he loved her. He then walked away.
Hazel told Emma what happened when she got home and Emma told her to clarify things with Joseph so that neither of them would get hurt.
Two men were walking along the river when they found a dead body. They called the police who found Anthony’s ID on the body. The police went to get Enzo at Brisard to identify the body and Joseph went with him. Both of them were able to confirm that it was Anthony. Enzo however got upset because he felt as if Anthony had chosen his family over theirs just like Victor had.
Joseph went home to share the news with Raquel and she was distraught over what happened. She was inconsolable and said that she should never have given up on him.
Enzo was sad too when he told Olivia and Matilda the news. Olivia was happy though and thought it was a good thing that Anthony died because all his assets would go to her sons.
Enzo wanted them to tell Calvin what happened to Anthony but she didn’t want to. Enzo however told her that they shouldn’t keep Calvin in the dark since he deserved to know. He was upset that he had fought with Anthony during the last days of his life when he had been more of a father to him than Victor was. Olivia consoled him thinking that her sons shouldn’t have to mourn Anthony’s death in such a way.
