Later, UV visits Katha, who is busy studying for her exams, and gifts her a pen. Katha is surprised to see his “best of luck” note. She asks him to correct a writing mistake, and UV complains, saying anyone in her place should have thanked him. Katha teases him and says thank you. She then gets shocked seeing the pen’s price and scolds him, but UV says he bought it so she could write not only her exams but also her future. He thanks her for helping him the other day, though Tammy took the credit. Katha is surprised. She then shows UV the logo she designed for his café. He likes it and thanks her. He asks if she has forgiven him, but when Katha asks why he wants her forgiveness, he stays quiet, only saying he will earn it one day before leaving.
The next day, after her exam, Katha waits for UV at his café. Sandy tells her about UV’s two-day Delhi plan to meet Suri, and Katha gets upset that he didn’t inform her. Sandy teases her and leaves. Gayatri arrives to meet Katha. Katha says she was thinking about her only. Gayatri worries seeing Katha’s injuries, but Katha assures her she’s fine. Gayatri wants to ask Katha about her in-laws’ house, but her caretaker forcibly arrives, saying Arjun is waiting. Katha tries to stop them but fails.
Katha follows Gayatri’s car and is surprised by the big house she sees. Inside, Gayatri looks scared while Arjun performs aarti. Arjun slaps Gayatri’s caretaker. Gayatri pleads with him not to punish her caretakers, saying they take care of her well. Arjun says he has returned, so he will take care of her. Gayatri tells him she has no one and lost her memory in an accident 20 years ago. Arjun says her son and husband died in that accident. Katha overhears this and gets confused.
