Aarohi arrives at the hospital and tells Nidhi that the truth is Karan does not love her, despite everything she has done for him. She points out that Preeta has done nothing for Karan, yet he still loves her. Aarohi advises Nidhi to gain Shaurya’s support so she can secure a permanent place in the Luthra house. Nidhi assures her that she can do anything for Shaurya. Aarohi then expresses concern that the Luthras love Rajveer as much as they love Shaurya. She warns Nidhi that this is not good for them and instructs her to ensure that Rajveer goes into a coma, just like Srishti.
At the hospital, Palki prays to God to save Rajveer. She says that Rajveer has saved many people, and now it is God’s turn to save him. She recalls how Rajveer has always helped and protected her, along with the moments they have shared, and breaks down in tears. Shanaya arrives, and Palki hugs her while crying. Shanaya reassures her that everything will be fine. Palki admits that Rajveer has always saved her, yet she kept fighting with him over small matters. She says that Rajveer is a genuinely good person, which is why he risked his life to save Karan. Palki adds that she will not be able to live if anything happens to Rajveer. Shanaya comforts her and insists that nothing will happen to him before hugging her again.
At the Luthra house, Dadi tells Kareena that the others have gone to the hospital. Kareena points out that Rajveer saved Karan’s life, and Dadi says that Karan and Rajveer are like a father and son.
Preeta recalls the moments she has shared with Rajveer and cries. She tells Karan that Rajveer has always taken good care of her and admits that she feels as though she is living an incomplete life. Karan agrees that she may be right. He suggests that although Preeta might have forgotten some people, those connected to her past would certainly remember her.
Rakhi arrives and asks Karan about Rajveer’s condition. The doctor comes out of the ICU and informs them that Rajveer is still in danger. He asks them to pray for a miracle before leaving. Nidhi thinks that she no longer needs to do anything, but Aarohi tells her to be prepared with a plan.
Shukwinder tells Daljeet that she could not even eat during the mehendi function. Daljeet questions how anyone could think about food in such a situation. Gurpreet arrives and asks what has happened. Daljeet tells her that she is lucky she did not come to the Luthra house. She then informs Gurpreet about Rajveer’s condition.
Shaurya recalls how Rajveer saved Karan and also remembers how Rajveer saved Kavya. Sandy notices his anger and asks what is bothering him. Shaurya admits that he is angry because Rajveer saved Karan, adding that he still hates Rajveer. Sandy points out that the important thing is that Karan is safe. However, Shaurya worries that Rajveer will become Karan’s favourite. He decides to do something about it.
Rakhi tells Karan that they must do something to help Rajveer, but Karan asks her to wait for the medical report. Rakhi points out that he would have listened if Preeta had said the same thing. She then calls Mahesh and asks him to seek a second opinion from a senior doctor. Kritika encourages Rakhi to stay strong, while Rakhi prays to God to save Rajveer. Kritika reassures her that nothing will happen to him.
Preeta leaves the hospital, and Karan follows her. As Preeta is about to get into an accident, Shaurya notices what is happening and scolds the driver. The driver argues that the accident was Preeta’s fault, prompting Shaurya to try to beat him up. Karan intervenes and stops Shaurya, but Preeta leaves. Karan takes the car keys from Shaurya and drives away.
Preeta sees Gurpreet at the hospital and breaks down while hugging her. Gurpreet says she knew Preeta would come to visit Srishti and asks her not to tell Srishti about Rajveer. Preeta nods and goes inside to see her sister. She tells Srishti that she and Rajveer miss her terribly and begins to cry. Karan arrives and sees Gurpreet, who advises him to support Preeta because she needs him. Karan promises to take care of both Preeta and Rajveer. Gurpreet reminds him that it is his responsibility to look after them. When Karan asks what she knows, Gurpreet shakes her head. Preeta then comes out and breaks down while hugging Karan.
Rakhi tells Mahesh that they should call their family doctor, but Mahesh asks her to calm down. Rakhi insists that she wants to speak to the hospital dean about Rajveer’s treatment and asks a nurse to arrange it. Instead, the nurse calls Rajveer’s doctor. The doctor arrives and tells the Luthras that he understands they want their family doctor to treat Rajveer, but that will not be possible. He insists that he is also a capable doctor and can provide good treatment, adding that their family doctor is not God. Kritika asks him to understand their concerns, but the doctor says Rajveer’s case is hopeless and refuses to help them further. Rakhi breaks down in tears.
Shaurya arrives and argues that rules can be broken to save a life. Palki also asks the doctor not to speak so negatively about Rajveer. The doctor says they can take Rajveer to another hospital, but he will not allow their family doctor to treat him at his hospital. Shaurya scolds him and demands that he save Rajveer at any cost, threatening to give an interview exposing the doctor. Sandy confirms that the video is ready. The doctor finally agrees to continue Rajveer’s treatment until their family doctor arrives. Rakhi thanks Shaurya and hugs him while crying. Nidhi watches the scene, wondering what has come over Shaurya.
Later, Sandy asks Shaurya why he is behaving differently. Shaurya explains that Rajveer saved Karan’s life, so he is simply returning the favour by saving Rajveer. Palki thanks Shaurya and goes to Rajveer’s room.
Shanaya tells Shaurya that he is a good person who pretends to be bad. She says everyone has now seen how much he cares about Rajveer and admits that she is proud of him. Shaurya insists that he acted only for his family’s sake. He claims that he still hates Rajveer and does not care even if Rajveer dies. He asks Shanaya whether she is foolish enough to think he is a good person, insists that he is bad, and walks away.
Preeta tells Karan that Rakhi cares deeply about Rajveer. Karan holds Preeta’s hand and prepares to leave with her. Meanwhile, Sandy asks Shanaya where Shaurya has gone. Shanaya tells him that Shaurya went to the hospital cafeteria. Mahesh asks Sandy to check whether Dr Mayank has arrived. Dr Mayank soon arrives, and Rakhi thanks him for coming. Kritika informs the doctor that Dr Mayank has arrived, and he asks her to send him inside. Dr Mayank assures the Luthras that he will do his best before entering Rajveer’s room. The doctor then explains Rajveer’s current condition to him.
Kareena tells Mahesh that she has heard about Dr Mayank’s arrival. Mahesh explains that Shaurya convinced the doctor to allow Dr Mayank to treat Rajveer. Rakhi adds that Shaurya fought for Rajveer and says it looked as though one brother was fighting for another. Karan and Preeta overhear their conversation, and Preeta realises how much the Luthras care about Rajveer. Mahesh tells Karan that Dr Mayank was allowed to treat Rajveer because of Shaurya.
Sandy tells Shaurya that he has suddenly become the Luthras’ favourite. Shaurya replies that Rajveer may be their favourite, but he still considers Rajveer nothing more than an employee. Karan arrives and tells Shaurya that he is proud of him. He says Shaurya deserves a reward and invites him to ask for anything he wants. Shaurya replies that he will ask when the time comes. Karan then hugs him.
Aarohi asks Preeta where she went. Preeta explains that she went to see her sister, who is in a coma. Dr Mayank arrives and informs them that Rajveer has lost a lot of blood. Preeta tells him that Karan and Rajveer have the same blood group and reveals that Rajveer donated blood to Karan in the past. Karan immediately offers to donate blood to Rajveer. He says that Rajveer and Shaurya are equally important to him and points out that Rajveer is in this condition because he risked his life to save him. Karan insists that saving Rajveer is now his responsibility, leaving Preeta emotional.
Karan says he can do anything to save Rajveer, and a nurse takes him inside to donate blood. Nidhi becomes furious as she recalls how Shaurya fought for Rajveer and how Karan accepted responsibility for him. Aarohi urges Nidhi to do something before things get worse for them.
As Karan donates blood to Rajveer, he recalls how Rajveer revealed his revenge plan to Srishti. He also remembers how Rajveer was shot while saving him. Karan realises that Rajveer chose to save him rather than let him die. He believes that Rajveer must love him, which is why he risked his life for him. Mahesh arrives and asks Karan what is wrong. Karan tells him that Rajveer’s sacrifice is not a small thing, and Mahesh agrees that Rajveer is a genuinely good person.
Meanwhile, Anshuman tells the detective that he must do something because Rajveer has ruined everything. He orders the detective to expose Rajveer in front of the Luthras. Karan is about to tell Mahesh that Rajveer is his son, but he stops when he sees Rakhi. Rakhi asks Karan to treat Rajveer like his own son.
