Meanwhile, Angad meets with Akeer’s principal, who questions why Angad wants to remove Akeer from the school. Angad insists he didn’t, but the principal shows him an email that suggests otherwise. Akeer suddenly recalls writing the email from Angad’s phone and explains that he doesn’t want to study at the school because he wants to build a time machine to meet his mother, a skill he believes none of the teachers possess. Frustrated, he walks away, leaving Angad apologizing to the principal.
Inside the interview room, the interviewers ask Gurnoor to describe music in her own words. She passionately states that music is in her blood and that her blood group is M, asserting she can sing in any situation. The interviewers challenge her to prove it. Hearing Akeer in the corridor expressing his desire to build a time machine, Gurnoor thinks he is talking about her. She approaches him, and Akeer is shocked to see someone who looks like his mother. Gurnoor asks for his help and brings him into the interview room, asserting she will demonstrate her musical talent using Akeer. The teacher informs her that Akeer doesn’t want to study at all. In response, Akeer hugs Gurnoor tightly, and she sings a song. Afterward, the interviewers inform her that they will get back to her regarding her selection.
Later, Angad explains to the principal that Akeer is struggling to come to terms with the situation. Akeer reenters the room and states he will continue at the school only under one condition. The principal asks what that condition is, and Akeer brings Gurnoor into the room, insisting that he will stay if she teaches him music. Angad is taken aback to see Gurnoor, imagining Sahiba’s presence, who encourages Akeer to call Angad “Papa” instead of by his name. Coming back to reality, Angad is left speechless. The principal inquires about Gurnoor’s identity, and she introduces herself as a music teacher who came for the interview, citing Akeer as an example of her impact.
Akeer affectionately calls Gurnoor “Mamma,” and she wonders if his real mother is a hidden “Mrs. India.” The principal then instructs a teacher to call in those who interviewed Gurnoor. When they arrive with their report, Gurnoor continues to rave about her abilities. The principal announces her selection, stating that the interviewers believe she can effectively manage tough students like Akeer. Overjoyed, Gurnoor is then asked to submit her documents, and a look of tension crosses her face.
