When Angad offers her an advance cheque, Gurnoor gratefully accepts, but he becomes curious about a tattoo of a “Z” on her wrist. Gurnoor avoids the question and retreats to her room, leaving Angad wondering about the significance of the tattoo.
Later, Gurnoor gazes at herself in the mirror, grappling with her hidden identity and feeling guilty about keeping it from Angad. The following morning, during breakfast, Angad is engaged in a call with a client while Manveer insists that Akeer eat. Akeer defies her, declaring that Manveer is Angad’s mother, not his. When Manveer asks about the caretaker, Gurnoor enters and invites Akeer to jogger’s park, which he enthusiastically accepts. She encourages him to finish breakfast quickly so they can leave.
Gurnoor suggests that the rest of the family join them at the park, but Manveer vehemently opposes the idea, insisting that Akeer needs to learn discipline. Gurnoor argues that Akeer recently lost his mother, and taking away his memories of her would only hurt him more. The family is divided, with Hansraj and Prabjot supporting Gurnoor, but Manveer remains adamant about her rules.
Meanwhile, Beeja’s aide is spying on school children and overhears Simran mention Gurnoor taking Akeer to jogger’s park. She quickly relays this information to Beeja, who orders her goons to track Gurnoor down. At the park, Gurnoor takes Akeer, Bani, and Keerat to the market, where Akeer and Bani enjoy candy floss. Keerat appears withdrawn, and when Gurnoor inquires about her mood, Keerat reveals her sadness over Garry’s neglect since their marriage. Gurnoor encourages her to join her for jogging, but Keerat insists she will only jog with Garry.
Simran arrives and offers to look after the children, allowing Gurnoor and Keerat to walk together. As they leave, Beeja and her aides continue their pursuit, with Beeja ordering them to catch Gurnoor. Realizing they are being followed, Gurnoor rushes to her car with Keerat and escapes, while Beeja manages to photograph the car’s license plate.
Back home, Gurnoor contacts a travel agent, asking for a foreign ticket as soon as possible. The agent requests her passport, but she lies, claiming it is lost. After he instructs her to send other documents for a new passport, Gurnoor thinks of Sahiba and decides to steal her passport. When Angad enters the room, Gurnoor quickly hides the passport and pretends to admire the photo frame, avoiding any mention of Sahiba. Angad tells her not to inquire about Sahiba and she leaves.
Once in her room, Gurnoor checks flight ticket prices but finds them too expensive. She realizes she’ll need to work several more months to afford them, but she feels she cannot stay in the house much longer. Suddenly, Manveer receives a call from the school principal, who accuses Gurnoor of stealing from a wealthy household and exploiting her resemblance to Sahiba. Gurnoor defends herself, insisting that Manveer should have spoken to her first, but Manveer, furious, slaps her.

Gurnoor confronts Manveer about the slap, declaring that she has no right to treat her that way. Manveer insists that Gurnoor deserves it.
