At the school, they learn that the bus carrying the kids has already left for the picnic spot. They quickly head to the location. Meanwhile, Karun and his friends arrive at the picnic site, where the kids are enjoying the food stalls. Kamal, disguised as a candy floss vendor, gives Karun drug-laced candy floss with the intention of kidnapping him once he faints. When Arjun and Kashvi arrive, they ask the teacher about Karun, who directs them toward the children. However, Kamal hides Karun under his stall and devises a plan to distract Arjun and Kashvi.
As the couple searches for Karun, Kamal causes a commotion by sabotaging a swing, leaving a boy hanging and shouting for help. Arjun and Kashvi rush to save the boy, giving Kamal an opportunity to escape with Karun. After rescuing the boy, Arjun and Kashvi resume their search and find Karun’s bag near the candy floss stall. Kashvi grows increasingly anxious, sensing something is wrong.
Kamal takes Karun to a hideout and calls Arjun, revealing that he has kidnapped their son. He taunts them about how much they love Karun and threatens to harm him unless his demands are met. Arjun insists he won’t give in, even daring Kamal to kill Karun. Kamal records this statement, planning to use it against Arjun later. After the call, Kashvi is horrified by Arjun’s words and worries about Karun’s safety. Arjun explains his strategy, emphasizing that Karun is Kamal’s leverage and unlikely to be harmed. He reassures Kashvi that they will rescue Karun and proposes tracking Kamal’s phone, though Kashvi doubts the effectiveness of the plan.
Kamal later contacts Arjun and demands the return of his confiscated drugs in exchange for Karun’s safety. Kashvi suggests complying, but Arjun firmly refuses, leaving Kashvi shocked. Aditya watches their conversation from a distance, observing the unfolding tension.
