{ Series Finale } A new life on star life, Sunday 12th June 2022 update

Episode starts with Kabir saying how can Meera love me, she is Angad’s fiancee. Meera calls him. He doesn’t answer. Angad comes and asks him to come and decorate the christmas tree. Kabir asks him to marry Meera. Angad scolds him. Kabir pushes Angad. Angad asks what happened to you. Kabir says Meera has much problems in her house, she wants someone to support and understand her, marry her.

Angad says enough, her dad has much ego, her chapter is close forever. Meera calls Kabir again. She says he isn’t answering, I love him, how could I say Kabir that I love him. Divya comes and says Naveen is unwell, come fast. Meera runs and holds Naveen. She says its withdrawal symptoms, you have to be strong. She says Divya play the music, Naveen and I will dance today. He hugs her. Pritam says I didn’t know you all celebrate Christmas. Angad says Karan used to get it every time. Dada ji says they are making Karan’s memories fresh. Guneet says we didn’t celebrate Christmas last year, but this year, please, decorate it with your hands, for Karan’s sake. Nimmo says I will do it for my Karan. She asks Pritam to help. Pritam sees Amrita. Dada ji asks is it true, that you fell in love with someone in Ludhiana.

Guneet asks Kabir what happened. Kabir and Pritam say nothing. Dada ji says love is amazing, Pritam is in love. Amrita looks at Pritam. He says you shouldn’t talk such things in this age, I m not in love, silence doesn’t mean its love. Dada ji says tell him what happened when we were in love. Dadi says the world looks beautiful when you are in love. Guneet asks what happened. Pritam says your parents are talking like this in front of you, you aren’t saying anything. Soni says mum and dad had an arranged marriage. Guneet says yes, but we fell in love on the first night, when I lifted her ghunghat, I told her that I have nothing to give you than sorrow, Nimmo said give me all your sorrow, then love happened.

Kabir asks Nimmo when did she fall in love with dad. Nimmo says I was going to Maayka alone, train left, he had the water bottle, he ran to catch the train and give me the water bottle, love happened. Dadi says the love which happens by seeing heart always stays. Dada ji says Pritam, its your turn now. Pritam says I m not in love. Dadi asks don’t you have a right to live. He asks Amrita about her love marriage with Karan, sorry. Amrita says it was an arranged marriage, when he came to see me, I thought he will be a boring doctor, he came to Ludhiana to take me out, I had seen my story by his eyes, I fell in love with Karan, he told me on wedding night that he will always keep me happy, I just have to keep his family happy, I fell in love with him again, then he told me that once Kabir and Angad become something, then we will start a family, I lost my heart to him again, I used to fall for him every day, every moment. She cries. Nimmo starts crying.

Nimmo asks why didn’t Karan come back to us. Guneet says stop it now. She says I m sad for Amrita, she is left alone. Angad says we came here to enjoy, we always get sad, if Karan was here, then would he want us to cry. She says you can forget him, but we can’t forget him. They all go. Pritam says I did wrong to ask her love story. Pritam asks Dada ji to say something, everyone has kept Karan’s memories as pain in their heart, till when will this happen. Dada ji says until we have this pain of not getting him, I used to think what does final rites mean, now I understand why people do it, for the person’s leaving and our own freedom, once Karan’s final rites happen, then they will also get freedom, it didn’t happen, its hurting everyone. Pritam asks what do you mean. Dada ji says we didn’t get Karan’s ashes, we went to the office many times, officers used to give false hope or scold us, but we didn’t get the ashes, if we get it, then we will get at peace, Nimmo wants to do the final rites of Karan. He cries. He says everyone has a pain inside them, I wish we got Karan’s ashes and ended this pain. Pritam goes to the govt. Office with Monty. The lady asks what work do you have with me.

Pritam saying you are a sorted lady, you have made much investments. The lady asks what do you want. He says you will be surprised to know, I want Karan Sakhuja’s ashes. He shouts on her and scolds for not giving the ashes to his family. She says yes, we…. He says you had slapped the mum who came to ask for Karan’s ashes. He says I have come here and I will take the ashes, if I don’t get it, then I will give you the ashes of your future.

Dada ji and Dadi argue that they will become Santa. Everyone laughs. Angad asks them to fight. Dada ji says we don’t fight, we love each other a lot. Dadi says yes, I will become Santa. They argue again. Amrita says stop it, Ansh is sleeping, he will wake up. Guneet says I should become Santa, my beard is also white. He asks how will we decide. Kabir says we also wan to become Santa, we will have a draw, write Pritam’s name also. Amrita asks why. Dada ji says he stays in our house. Everyone asks Amrita to pick a chit. Amrita picks one. They ask whose name is it. She says Pritam. Guneet asks will Pritam agree to become Santa class. Pritam says get up and get to work. The lady says yes Sir, I will check it now. Monty says Sir won’t go without taking the ashes. She goes. Kabir goes to Amrita and says Pritam isn’t at home. He calls Pritam. He says we had a draw today, you have to become Santa and come home.

Pritam says I don’t want to become, I didn’t ask you to put my name. Amrita says we had put your name thinking you are a family member, fine, go to hell. He asks how can I become Santa. She says you have to become Santa. He says I don’t have the Santa dress, I m at work, I can’t go to buy it. She says fine, Angad will buy the dress for you, you have to become Santa, I will make you roam the locality today as Santa. Meera calls Kabir. He says its a call from office. Amrita goes. Kabir disconnects. Nitin asks what happened. Pritam says that family wants me to become Santa Claus. Nitin laughs and says how would you look, take a selfie please. Pritam says Amrita told so, I have to listen to her. Nitin says you are listening a lot to her. Pritam says that family lost a lot, if I could fill their loneliness, then I think my loneliness will also fill up. Amrita comes to Nimmo.

She says Karan is the one who connects us, don’t stay upset with me. Nimmo turns away. Guneet, Dadi and Soni come and look on. Guneet asks Nimmo to understand how much Amrita is worried, she cried all night. Dadi says yes, she isn’t happy. Soni asks Nimmo to get normal. Guneet says we will go mad this way. Nimmo cries. She hugs Amrita and says I don’t want to snatch your Karan.

Pritam asks how much time will they get. Monty says they got the fine, Nitin called and said he is following a lead to find UD. Pritam says tell him to find out. Amrita talks to Karan’s pic. She says we had sorted everything, just come now. Angad gets Santa’s dress for Pritam. Amrita laughs. Kamli says Pritam has gone to the govt. Office, I heard him talking to Monty and asking him to come there in uniform. Angad asks why. Amrita says maybe he went for his work, get ready now. She thinks why did Pritam go there. Monty comes to Pritam and says we learnt about UD, you will be shocked. Pritam asks who is he.

Monty says Jassi’s fiance, Umed. Pritam says Umed Dhanwa, UD, he was in front of my eyes, it means he came to meet me, we will raid all his hotels, we want a search warrant. The lady asks Pritam to come. Pritam recalls Dada ji’s words.

Meera saying Kabir isn’t answering my calls, why did I say that I love him, I lost a good friend. He thinks is there any emergency, I will call. He calls her. She asks are you angry. He says you said such a thing. She says I m sorry. He says you were Angad’s fiancee, how can I think this. She says I know, I love you, what shall I do, shall I stop meeting you or talking to you. He says don’t cry, I feel sad. She says don’t get upset with me, I will fall lonely. He says you will never be lonely, just smile, I will come to meet you today as your Santa. She says I love you. She ends call. Angad and Kabir come and ask him what’s the matter, is there any girl’s affair. Kabir gets a call again. They ask him to show the phone. She says its your creative’s call. They go.

Nimmo asks Amrita to forgive her. Amrita hugs her. Dada ji and everyone talk. Nimmo asks them to call their Santa. Angad says I had called him, he didn’t answer. Dada ji says we will wait for some time and then become Santa. Pritam comes home. He sees everyone laughing. Kabir says our Santa has come. Guneet asks where were you Pritam. Amrita says I told you, your name is drawn, become Santa now. Pritam says listen to me. Nimmo says you have to become Santa. Dada ji says I will become Santa. They all say no. Guneet says make Pritam ready. Pritam says listen to me, once. Angad jokes. Amrita says wear the Santa clothes fast. Pritam recalls their words. They all dress him as Santa. They laugh. Dadi says Pritam looks so cute like Santa. Amrita gets a bag and says now you look like a Santa, I told you, I will make you roam in the locality. Pritam recalls Amrita’s words. Kabir asks him to just go and come. Angad says make an entry from outside. They all clap. Monty is waiting outside with the ashes. Pritam goes to him. Everyone waits for gifts. Pritam comes back home. Everyone sings jingle bells. They ask Pritam to sing. Pritam cries. Amrita says he has to sing, lets see how he sings, he will fulfill our wish today. Pritam sings jingle bell. They all get shocked seeing the ashes pot. Amrita asks what is this. Pritam says Karan’s ashes. They get shocked.

They cry. Pritam gives the ashes pot. He says you all waited for these ashes, right, I got this, I can just give this Christmas gift. Amrita goes to the room and cries seeing Karan’s pic. Nimmo hugs the ashes pot and shouts.

The family men go and perform Karan’s last rites. After two months, Amrita opens the window and smiles. Pritam hums and comes down the stairs. He smiles seeing her.
