Saras and Kumud On Starlife Wednesday 8th January 2025 Update, Kumud takes the blessings of Bhagwaan and notices the letter “S” on her hand. With Sindoor in her maang, she remembers how Saras wrote on her hand and declared that she was his. The song “Kuch na kahe.. bas chup rahe..” plays as Kumud cries with happiness, reminiscing about her sweet moments with Saras. Meanwhile, Saras also thinks about her and smiles.

The scene shifts to Badimaa, who is tense. Vidyachatur approaches her, asking about the arrangements for the Sangeet function. He inquires what’s bothering her, and she admits that she feels old and tired easily. He laughs, saying it’s hard to believe she could be tired. Badimaa shares her fears of losing Kumari, expressing that she has taken on all responsibilities. She cries, revealing that someone has come out of jail. Vidyachatur is shocked and asks how she knows. She shows him a letter from her husband, which angers him as he reads that the man intends to take Kumari from her. Badimaa is worried, but Vidyachatur reassures her that he won’t let that happen. They decide to focus on the mehndi ceremony, but Badimaa’s anxiety lingers as she looks at the letter.
Outside the house, a man approaches Vidyachatur’s gate and stands there, peering inside.
The scene shifts to Umesh, who recites Shayari to Kumari. She tells him that she came to meet him despite Badimaa’s suspicions. Umesh asks her to come to his house and talk to her family, joking that they should enjoy being lovers for now. He hugs Kumari, knowing the burden on her mother, and she leaves, saying there are functions to attend. Umesh thinks about increasing Badimaa’s worries.
Next, Saras searches for Kumud. They spot each other and share smiles, signalling to each other playfully. Both are ready with dandiya sticks, and sweet music plays in the background. Vidyachatur asks Laxminandan if they should start, and everyone begins dancing. Saras challenges Kumud, and the song “Dhol baje..” plays. They dance joyfully while a mysterious man observes from a distance. Badimaa senses his presence, but he disappears when she approaches, leaving her anxious.
Saras and Kumud smile at each other while the others cheer for them. Kumari follows Badimaa, who returns to her room feeling worried. She touches her sindoor, contemplating if she truly saw him or if it was just her imagination. She remembers sending him to jail and her commitment to supporting her brother.
In the hall, the family discusses the functions. Sejal shares that her mama has passed away, making it impossible to perform a specific ritual. Vidyachatur and Laxminandan bring clothes for Sejal to celebrate the end of the rasam. Sejal’s mother thanks them, and they ask if she likes the clothes. Kumari compliments them, and Sejal’s mother suggests calling Kumud’s mother “kaki.” Yash’s mother approaches Ghuman, asking for a favour regarding Yash’s clothes. Ghuman agrees and brings a small bag.
The women engage in the haldi rasam, teasing Sejal. Saras stands nearby, observing the celebration. He picks up Haldi and declares that he wants to see Kumud’s glow. He approaches her, but she complains that her ring has fallen into the water. She questions what he intends to do with the haldi. He insists on applying it to her despite her objections, proposing to do so without touching her. Saras cleverly mixes the haldi into the pool water, assuring Kumud that it is on her hands. She notices and looks at him, smiling.
The episode concludes with Kumud’s sweet expression.
