Saras and Kumud On Starlife Monday 20th October 2025 Update, Saraswati asks Kabir to decorate the house since it’s Chandra’s engagement. Everyone looks sad. Saraswati says she knows she’s troubling everyone, but Chandra told her to ask for anything she wants. She asks Vidyachatur if he invited the guests and arranged the puja items, and he says yes. She insists that everything should be done properly, as it’s her son’s engagement. She tells them to decorate the house beautifully and then says she’ll sit down because she’s tired. Badimaa helps her sit.

Saraswati later changes her clothes and comes to the living room. The house looks well decorated, but everyone seems upset. She says Ganpati ji is usually not kept for engagements, but since she likes him, they will first do the puja and then continue with the engagement. She asks where the diya is, and everyone looks at each other.
She tells Badimaa to bring the diya. Badimaa goes to find it. Kumud gives it to her, crying silently. Danny consoles Guniyal, who breaks down and says she can’t bear to see all this. Danny, emotional too, tells her that’s enough and cries along. Just then, Aarti walks in with Anushka. Saraswati feels happy to see her. Kumud looks on tearfully and sees Saras coming in. She remembers his words and becomes emotional.
Everyone looks at Saras. Saraswati feels overjoyed and takes him to Aarti. She says she’s very happy. Saras looks at the Ganesh idol and prays for a way to stop this engagement. He says he will do anything to stop it. Badimaa also prays for the same. Kumud prays too, saying she can’t live without Saras and neither can he, but she will accept whatever the Lord decides.

Saraswati asks them to exchange rings quickly before the mahurat passes. She asks Aarti if she brought the ring, and Aarti says yes. Saras hesitates and pulls his hand back. Saraswati gives them the rings, and everyone watches in shock. Saras glances at Badimaa, who signals him not to do it. Tears fill his eyes. Aarti takes the ring and moves to make him wear it. Saraswati tells Saras to show his hand.
As Saras thinks of his past engagement with Kumud, he slowly shows his hand. Saraswati notices the ring already on his finger and asks whose ring it is. She tries to remove it and tells him to keep it aside. Saras takes the ring off and holds it in his hand. He looks at Kumud, and she nods at him through her tears. Saras prays to the Lord, saying he can’t wear anyone else’s ring and asks for help. Suddenly, a strong wind blows, and the diya goes off. Everyone stands shocked.
Saraswati asks Badimaa to light all the diyas again, and Badimaa agrees. Saraswati then tells Saras to wear the new ring. Saras gets an idea and suddenly places his hand over the flame of the diya. Badimaa sees it and shouts his name in shock. Kumud is horrified and calls out to him too. Saras quickly moves his hand away. Saraswati notices his hand badly burnt and panics.
Saras tells her he’s fine, but she insists it’s badly burnt. She blows on his hand, worried. Saras pretends not to know how it happened. Saraswati says the engagement can’t continue now. Everyone secretly feels relieved. Saras silently thanks the Lord, while Aarti looks upset. Badimaa thinks that God has blessed Saras and Kumud. Aarti, however, feels that now the engagement is cancelled. But Saraswati suddenly says there will be a direct marriage instead. Everyone is shocked again, and Aarti smiles while Saras breaks down in tears.

Kumud asks Saras why he burnt his hand. Saras says he told her before that he won’t wear any other woman’s ring and that she shouldn’t blame herself for it. Kumud says her mother has now decided that the marriage will happen directly, and that’s the truth. Saras tells her it’s not the truth — the real truth is Saras and Kumud’s love.
