Rani asks Lakhan and Raaj Mata’s help to solve the riddle. Raaj Mata wonders what can be the meaning of the last verses. Rani at once get to Kaali Prasad. She heads outside looking for Kaali Prasad. She comes to palace and asks Bari Rani Maa to return her Kaali Prasad. Bari Rani Maa points it to be up on terrace where she has to climb.

Rani heads towards Kaali Prasad, she assures him not to be afraid. Bari Rani Maa sends the servants to get the stair and help Rani climb up.
Bari Rani Maa thinks that Raja told her about her fear for height, she is unable to come down. Bari Rani Maa orders the servants to remove the stairs and repeats the last verses demanding Rani to jump. Raja was concerned. Rani reminds Raja she only knows about climbing. She can jump down and can get the leg broken as well but how can she put Kaali Prasad in trouble. Raja sends Juman to bring a shawl, he will catch Kaali Prasad. Rani throws Kaali Prasad down, Juman holds it. Bari Rani Maa laughs at Rani and asks to accept her defeat. Rani thinks about a locket of her mother, she holds it tight and shuts her eyes to repeat a few words. She finds a cloth sheet and throws it down the terrace. Jeewan was worried if he would have to sleep hungry.
Bari Rani Maa thinks that Rani has won her fears as well along with the challenge. Rani comes to Bari Rani Maa and tells her about her grandmother’s words that those who side with right always win. She goes inside with the kids. Bari Rani Maa sends everyone else inside too.
Raaj Mata was doing the embroidery. Lakhan comes to scold her, as her eye sight would be weak with such a thin work. Raaj Mata remembers Rana ji scolding her. She tells Lakhan that she lost her son, but was gifted by him and Rani then. She realized hunger makes food tasty, and love from children is important that palace. She heads to return the clothes to supervisor, but drops two in the way unknowingly.
Rani tells Raja about Goddess Durga. Raja requests to learn about her to overcome his fears. She goes to teach him manners about temple and praying. Rani advices Raja not to forget it, God always help those who help others. Raja asks how her grandmother knows this all. Rani wonders may be God himself. The Pandit arrives and says he heard a girl’s voice in the temple today and miss someone.
Rajeshwari scolds Jeewan about stealing in his own home. Jeewan was worried about getting his food banned because of Rani. Rajeshwari takes him inside cursing he never thinks about anything other than food. Jeewan was worried what if Rani wins again. Rajeshwari watches Bari Rani Maa and accuses her to be responsible to lose the game again.
Kaal sends his men to get the signatures again, no matter they have to harass the labours, or burn their houses or kill them of hunger. Raja comes in, Amrita was also preparing tea. Kaal accuses her and Raja for being responsible.
Raja thinks about Rani’s words, reads the mantar under lips. Kaal calls him in front of him. Raja tells Kaal it wasn’t his mistake, it was because of Jeewan who called him coward if he doesn’t play. Kaal accuses him to blame his brother. Raja tells Kaal he wants to be a good son, he tries being with right, good at studies. He insists power must be used to save, not to tease others. Kaal laughs if he thinks Prince must be like this? He grabs Raja’s shoulders and neck, and tells him there are either weak or powerful in this world, this pain will teach him and not this school pushing him down on floor. Raja tells Kaal he hates him and leaves.
The servants clap for Rani, Naina had made kheer for her. Rani objects she hasn’t won yet, but Naina asks if they can’t do this much for her. Bari Rani Maa comes to push the spoon away. Rani questions why she disrespected food? Bari Rani Maa warns the servants to take steps with much care, and tells Rani that servants would still eat once in the palace. She punishes Rani to clean the whole hall alone. Rani calls it really easy, she had thought about a difficult challenge. Bari Rani Maa repeats this is a punishment, the next challenge will come tomorrow. Rani holds her mother’s locket, she was sure till her Maa is with her she wouldn’t lose.
The supervisor counts saree. There was a tie between two ladies. Raaj Mata comes in with her cloth bag. He counts them to be 38, one less than the other ladies. The supervisor says she worked so much whole night, Raaj Mata insists she stitched 40 clothes so he must count once again. The ladies there mock Raaj Mata, Lakhan calls from behind that his mother was neither defeated nor will be. He brings the two dresses. The supervisor matches the embroidery, and accepts her clothes. He announces she is the winner of this competition. He says that she will be awarded with the money in tomorrow’s gathering, in which the minister is coming.
Bari Rani Maa wonders what should be the next challenge for Rani.
Jeewan suggests about not giving her food for two days. Bari Rani Maa thinks about making her dance on broken glass pieces. Rajeshwari tells her to go to theatre if she needs drama. Jeewan warns Rajeshwari be it any game, but Rani shouldn’t win. Bari Rani Maa gets an idea.
Rani cleans the floor, Jeewan ruins it again. She again cleans the floor. Jeewan ruins it for once more. Rani thinks someone is teasing her, she cleans the floor again and looks around carefully spotting Jeewan. She says aloud that she would bring new water, Jeewan again comes to ruin the floor while Rani pulls his leg and he fell off.
He shouts how dare she? Rani says he hasn’t yet seen her courage, she gives him a cloth to clean it. Jeewan says this is servant’s job. Rani was stubborn, Jeewan pushes her while Raja saves Rani. Raja comes to grab Jeewan and push him down on floor, beating him hard. Raja was angry and determined not to leave him, considering him to be young. Rani stops Raja from hurting Jeewan with a vase. Rani instead slaps Raja. Jeewan smiles. Raja cries and gets angry at Rani as well. Jeewan teases Raja for being slapped. Raja questions Rani why she stopped him? Rani asks if he would also be bad after him.
Raja complains she didn’t understand him and goes inside. Rani hurries behind him. Bari Rani Maa was happy that Rani paved her way by fighting with Raja herself.
Raaj Mata assures the store man to give him payment for the next month as well as she now won a stitching competition. The doctor comes to Raaj mata and informs her Lakhan is selling his blood to collect money for her. Raaj Mata was annoyed with Lakhan.
Lakhan was angry and tells Bindu to leave the room. She goes away, Raja shuts the door. Rani comes and asks him to open the door, she gets what she want to. Right now she needs forgiveness and will get it.
Jeewan narrates an exaggerated story to Rajeshwari when Bari Rani Maa catches his lie.
Rani jumps inside the room through window with a micky mask on. Raja smiles watching this. He was curt and didn’t want to see the monkey’s play. Rani speaks to a puppet, Raja asks whom is she talking to. Rani speaks from puppet that she only wanted to help Raja. Raja brings his puppet. Rani explains that she slapped Raja because if Raja had hurt Jeewan then he would be upset later. She apologizes Raja as she shouldn’t have slapped him. Raja was upset that no one here loves him. Rani assures him that at her home everyone loves him, and offers to come her home. Raja was excited and goes to change his dress.
Rajeshwari again scolds Jeewan for lying to her. Bari Rani Maa tells Jeewan to learn recognize his enemy. Jeewan boasts about recognizing Raja in any form. Bari Rani Maa tells him Rani is the real enemy.
because of her Raja is transforming and getting courage. She asks Jeewan’s help to teach Rani a good lesson. Jeewan agrees for a deal.
Lakhan tells Raaj Mata that she made him a real son. Rani and Raja come there, Raaj Mata goes to prepare for food. Rani offers helping her. They head towards kitchen. Rani kneads the flour putting it over her forehead. He cleans her forehead and smiles looking at her.
There was a hole in the bread Rani made at which he laughs. They come out to play marbles, Lakhan teaches Raja the trick to throw marbles. He hugs Raja at his victory, Rani hugs Raaj Mata. She then goes to drop Raja.
In the palace, Raja and Rani climb through the window into Raja’s room. Raja was relieved, Rani heads to leave. Raja gifts her with his watch, he says it’s the best day of his life. Up till now he thought only Bari Rani Maa loved him but today he realized her friendship for him, it’s a gift. Raja calls her to be his family and him being hers. They hug each other. Bari Rani Maa and Jeewan watch this. Bindu brings food plate and drops it at the door. Rani gets apart from Raja and turns to leave.
In the corridor, the lights get off at once, they turn on and off as Jeewan tries to make Rani afraid. Bari Rani Maa comes as witch in front of Rani. Rani tells Bari Rani Maa she is really afraid, everyone gather around Rani who lay on a floor snake game. She stands up and looks around. Bari Rani Maa tells Rani this is her second challenge.
She tells her the rules, snake bite will take her to death, at each stair she will have to answer a question to climb up. Rani accepts the challenge, but on a condition. She is accepting the challenge, so she will decide the rules. She asks Bari Rani Maa if she would get defeated by a 7 years old Gayatri. She demands a one rupee raise in each servants’ salary at each stair. Bari Rani Maa says that on each of wrong answer, she will get beaten by her stick. Raja asks Rani not to accept this condition. Rani calculates if she climbs all the stairs, all servants will get 10% raise in salaries. She begin the game. Bari Rani Maa asks her first question. ‘It was, I never was but still ever was, no one ever saw me still everyone live in this world because of me’. Bari Rani Maa watches Jeewan read the answers from a paper.
Rajeshwari comes to hug Kaal from behind. She says she heard the woman in Nari Niketan will get the gifts from a woman, she wants to go with him. Kaal says Rajeshwari will come with him, but she won’t give away the gifts and Swarna will. He explains to Rajeshwari he gives the rights to widows as it will help him in selection. Rajeshwari will make Swarna up to go there.
Rajeshwari denies going there. Kaal clutches Rajeshwari’s neck and orders her to go there. Jeewan begins countdown, Bari Rani Maa gives Rani the answer to be Future. Rani curses herself for not being able to give a simple reply. Bari Rani Maa comes to beat her, Jeewan takes Bari Rani Maa’s permission to beat her. Bari Rani Maa happily gives the stick to Jeewan. Jeewan puts water on the stick and asks Rani to forward her hand. Raja comes to warn Jeewan about repenting. He requests Bari Rani Maa to stop Jeewan. Bari Rani maa still suggests Rani to back up, but she throws the dice again. It comes out to be a sixer, another sixer and then five.
