The celebration starts and Surjo and Noyontara cut the cake together. They give pieces to the guests. Noyontara heads to the kitchen, and Surjo follows her while teasing that someone told her to follow him like a shadow. He asks for one piece of cake. Noyontara says everyone hasn’t eaten yet, so she’ll eat only after serving all. She leaves with more cake pieces. Surjo decides to save a big piece for her. Shaoli sees this, calls out to Surjo pretending to be his patient Amit’s father, and he rushes off. Shaoli quickly throws the original New Year cake in the dustbin and places the poisoned one on the table.
Surjo comes back and tells Noyontara he has to go to the hospital because his patient Amit is in critical condition. Dr. Santosh arrives and says the chairman sent a New Year cake for Surjo’s family. Surjo mentions he heard Amit isn’t well. Dr. Santosh tells him Amit is actually fine. Surjo calls another doctor and confirms Amit is okay. He wonders who gave him the wrong info.
Somraj tells Surjo that everyone has eaten cake except Noyontara. Mohor suggests Surjo celebrate the New Year alone with Noyontara. Surjo says he’ll bring a big piece from the kitchen. Mohor takes Noyontara to the room, teases them both, and leaves. Shaoli watches everything. Sye thinks Noyontara and her child will die after eating the poisoned cake.
Noyontara asks Surjo who gave him this big piece. He says he brought it from the kitchen himself. She tells him she’ll feed him first but then remembers the priest’s words. She worries what might happen to Surjo if he eats it. So she decides she’ll eat first. Suddenly she hears a rat sound, screams in fear, and drops the spoon. The rat eats some cake and dies right there. Everyone rushes over. Noyontara says the rat died after eating the cake. Mala mentions she ate a lot of cake too. Ashalata points out nothing happened to the others. Poulomi says only this piece must be poisoned. Surjo notices the dead rat has suddenly vanished. Noyontara accuses Shaoli of mixing poison in the cake. Surjo says there’s no proof against her. Noyontara declares she’ll prove it today.
Shaoli wonders where to hide the rat poison bottle. Noyontara knocks and asks her to open the door. Shaoli hides the bottle under the bed and opens up. Surjo warns her that if Noyontara is right, this is Shaoli’s last chance. Noyontara locks Shaoli in Ashalata’s room, puts Lord Shiv’s photo on the door, and leaves. Shaoli begs Gorkamini for help and says Surjo won’t forgive her if they find the rat poison in her room. Gorkamini hears it all.
The Senguptas search Shaoli’s room but get scared when they see a snake. Then the snake disappears. Ashalata says they shouldn’t have doubted Shaoli. Surjo opens the door for her. Shaoli learns no one found the rat poison bottle and wonders where it went. Noyontara wonders who is secretly helping Shaoli. Keep visiting blastersseries.com for fastest updates.
