Eva goes to see Adessa. Rosa and Abel told Eva that Adessa’s daughter was Roxanne. They also said that she was now calm and was getting better after meeting her daughter and Eva was confident that she would fully recover.
Oliver was still upset over Eva leaving her. He bumped into a vendor on the street and he apologized because he hadn’t seen Oliver. Oliver told him that saying sorry does not fix anything and beat him up.

Mariel called Eva to thank her for the jewelry pieces she and Inno had made. After the call, Rosa told Eva not to tell anyone about their relationship yet and to keep it among themselves.
The following day, Roxanne visited Adessa at her house. She congratulated Eva for fixing things with Inno and wished them happiness. She also thanked Eva for helping her mother get over her trauma and Eva thanked Roxanne for sharing her mother with her. Roxanne corrected and said that Adessa was their mother. Eva told her that she and Adessa now had to make up for the time they spent apart. Adessa woke up and called both of them over to sit by her side.
Roxanne went to see Inno later She was thankful to him for letting her love him but she did not regret it. Inno thanked Roxanne for always being there when he needed someone to lean on and told her that nothing would change between them. He asked that they remain friends but Roxanne said that a lot had changed. She asked him to give him time to get over him and told him to be happy with Eva.
Lucia finalized Stella’s pardon and she was released from prison. Lucia had a car ready and told Stella to leave before the press heard the news. Stella was delighted because she could finally see Oliver. She went to his condo first and when she arrived, the police were there. She asked what happened and they told her that a certain Oliver Cortes was trying to commit suicide on the 24th floor.
Stella got in the elevator and went to the 24th floor where Oliver was about to jump. When he saw Stella, he complained about Eva always choosing Inno over him. He said that he wanted to die because no one was ever there for him and they always left him. Stella said she was there and reached out to him, eventually managing to stop him from jumping.
Carmen called Inno to share the good news that Stella had been released from prison. Stella called later to tell Carmen about Oliver’s incident and she wanted to go to him. Her caregiver called Inno instead and Inno asked that Carmen stay home. He said that he would be the one to go to Oliver.
Mariel heard about Stella’s release and went to see Eva. They all decided that Eva should return to the US to be with Rebecca. Rosa and Able said they would stay behind since they could not separate Adessa from her daughter.
Stella took Oliver to her new house and asked him to stay there with her. She did not like to see him so dejected so she asked him to pull himself together since Eva too would not like someone who looked defeated. She advised him to be more like Inno and to stop being a loser if he wanted to win over Eva.
Inno arrived to the house and did not seem happy to see Stella out of prison. He was a little upset that she did not tell him about her pardon after she had promised to serve her sentence. Stella told him that she was ready to serve her full sentence but her mother got her the pardon since she had suffered enough. She commented that Inno only cared about his happiness with Eva and Inno asked how she know about that.
Stella told him that Oliver tried to jump off a building because of her. Inno was surprised and wanted to know how he could help. Stella told him to leave Eva because she could not lose her son because of Rebecca’s daughter.
Inno went to see Oliver in his room but he refused to talk and told Inno to leave.
Inno called Eva after he left the house and told her that he was worried about Oliver.
He wanted to do something to help him and Eva told him to consult a psychiatrist to see what he could do. He also asked Inno to be careful around Oliver since he could hurt him. Inno said they were brothers and was confident that Oli would not hurt him.
We ended as Oliver tried to make a call but it did not go through.
Inno goes to see a friend of his who was a psychiatrist. Her name was Abby and he told her everything concerning his relationship with Oliver. He talked about Oliver falling out with the family and refusing to go to their father’s funeral. He said that they usually patched things up after a fight but they had not been able to do so lately because of Eva. Abby reasoned that Oliver was having trouble because he was not able to settle things with Hernan before he died and therefore lacked closure.
Oliver tried to call Eva but his calls did not go through. He texted her to say that he would not be able to go to work for a while since he wasn’t feeling well but Eva still did not answer back. He got upset because he could not reach her and trashed his room. He felt nauseous and went to the bathroom to try and calm down.
He remembered the time Eva helped him through an ordeal and stayed with him. He also thought about Hernan and how things were between them before he died. He had gone to see Hernan but Inno turned him away because he was drunk and they would only end up fighting.
Oliver went to sleep and had a dream about Hernan telling him to get back at Inno because he was the cause of all their problems.
After Inno left the psychiatrist’s office, he called Eva and she suggested he do something to help Oliver reconcile his issues with their father. Inno had an idea and went to see Oliver at Stella’s house. Stella was not it so the maid went to get Oliver.
Oliver came downstairs and Inno asked if he would go somewhere with him. Oliver asked if Eva would be there and Inno said he could get her to come if that’s what Oliver wanted. Oliver agreed to go and went upstairs to change. He also brought a pocketknife with him.
Inno drove Oliver to the cemetery and said that they were there to see Hernan. Oliver was disappointed and instead attacked Inno, saying that he was at fault for everything that was happening to him. Inno did not understand what Oliver meant. Oliver ran off instead and Inno tried to go after him but his car refused to start.
Oliver went to Eva’s apartment and asked Rosa if he could see her. Rosa told him that she could not allow it for Eva’s safety. They were all worried after Stella’s release so she refused to let Oliver see her. Oliver threw a tantrum, demanding to see Eva but the guards escorted him out.
Inno called Stella to tell her what happened with Inno. Stella got upset and called Inno selfish for failing to understand what Oliver was going through. Inno said that he was only doing what was right but Stella told him that he only cared about Eva, while her family were behind Hernan’s death. Inno said there was no proof and Stella said there was no point in talking to him.
Inno went to Hernan’s grave and expressed his pain at always being the one to understand Inno and Stella. He said that he was tired of trying and being blamed for everything that happened.
Stella went to prison to visit her previous cellmates and invited the press to take pictures. The inmates were delighted to see her and expressed their gratitude by giving Stella a hug. She went to wash up later, upset that the prisoners thought to embrace her.
She talked to her henchman about Rebecca and he said that it was hard to get to her in Chicago since she was heavily guarded. Stella told him to leave Rebecca alone since she was certain Rebecca would never wake up and was good as dead. She therefore told him to focus on Eva instead, she was now an easier target with Rebecca not there to protect her. She was also upset that Eva was ruining her family and wanted her gone.
