5 YEARS Later Episode starts with a lady calling for help and asks Police to do something as bomb is tied around her waist. Pawar calls the bomb squad and asks them to come before the bomb explodes. The lady prays to God to send some angel to save her life. Malhar comes in his jeep. Pawar is an Inspector now and tells Malhar that he can’t go there. He aims gun at Malhar and tells that you can’t handle this case, it is commissioner’s order not to let you enter there. Malhar asks him to shoot and asks if he will let her die. Pawar says bomb squad will come. Malhar says he can’t see anyone dying infront of him. Malhar asks the lady not to move. Pawar says just 2 mins left.

Rao asks him not to touch the bomb. Malhar asks the lady not to move and removes her bomb jacket. Pawar and Rao urge him not to do that. The girl runs. Malhar asks Pawar to go from there and says it is my order. Pawar says I can’t go. Malhar says it is my order. Pawar, Rao and others run away. Malhar takes out the scissor from his pocket and cuts the wire thinking about Kalyani. Pawar comes to Malhar and says I had to tell Commissioner Saheb. He says he wants to meet him at 8 am. Malhar says don’t you know where I go daily at 8 am. He tells him that he is not scared of Commissioner and will go to orphan kids. Aao Saheb does exercise in her luxurious house and hears her cries on tape recorder. She looks at Null’s photo and prays that all of Malhar’s happiness gets snatched from him.
Malhar calls Principal and tells that he has sent ration for kids midday meal. Principal asks until when you will send, you have so much loan. Malhar says his life is a loan and asks about kids. Principal says they will come and asks him not to shower his money on kids, else his wife will leave him. Malhar thinks he has to go and take someone, and hopes new Commissioner don’t give him some work.
Aao Saheb reads the letter written by Malhar for Swara, that he was waiting for her rakhi, but it didn’t come, hopes she ties him rakhi soon. Swara calls Aao Saheb. Aao Saheb hides the letter and asks her to come inside. Swara comes inside and tells that she wants to check her sugar. Aao Saheb says she will eat food only once in day. Swara says only one? Aao Saheb says Guru ji told me about the big trouble on our family and for that there are two solutions, one is that I have to eat food at once, and the other is my bahu sacrifices her long hair. She says I will not ask you to sacrifice your hairs. Swara says I can’t let you be hungry. Aao Saheb asks are you ready to get your hairs cut. Swara says yes. Aao Saheb cuts her hairs with scissor. Swara looks on crying. Aao Saheb says I hope you have agreed to my sayings. Swara says this is my family too. Aao Saheb asks her to cover her head with Pallu to remember her sacrifice. Swara says ok.
Malhar asks all kids to fly the kites. They fly the kites. Malhar sees Papa misses you Moksh’s message and cries. He thinks he used to get up early at 8 am. Aao Saheb keeps the hairs in the envelope and writes letter for Malhar on Swara’s behalf, and writes that she is sending her hairs to explain to him that their relations can’t be fine. Malhar tells Moksh is not replying to him and cries missing him. Tujhse Naraaz Nahi Main Zindagi plays…..Later Malhar looks at Moksh’s toys and gets emotional. He throws the car as he couldn’t repair it. He tells Durga Prasad, the dog that his life has stopped and asks it to go. Pawar comes there and tells that Commissioner Saheb sent letter for you, he asked him to do DM’s security. Malhar tells that he will not go and asks him to tell that he is going to his wife. Pawar asks him to come and says you have loan of 5 lakhs. Malhar gets hyper and holds his head in pain. Pawar gets concerned and asks where is your medicine. Malhar eats his medicine and cries looking at Kalyani’s earring. Later he comes to hospital and calls Pawar, asks why did he send him mental asylum’s address. He sees a lady singing lullaby and talking to a toy baby. She is Kalyani. She says your Papa don’t take bribe, so from where he will get new toys for you. She cries and hugs the toy baby, says nothing will happen to my Billu. Malhar is shocked to hear her voice.
Malhar seeing Kalyani at the asylum. She sees a woman and points gun at her. She catches her. Malhar thinks why am I not able to say anything, she is alive. The police comes. Commissioner greets her and says I got to know you had come early. She says yes, I had come two days back and got undercover, this lady is Rekha Desai, she runs a racket here. The lady says Anna won’t leave you. Kalyani says your Anna can’t find you where I m shifting you. Commissioner says you have passed IAS at a young age. She says just come the point, thanks, make sure, I don’t need to take the gun in my hands again. He says my officer Malhar Rane will be with you from today. She turns and sees Malhar. Malhar salutes her. He recalls shooting her down. She asks commissioner for the file. She checks it. She thinks what’s this game, I can’t find Pillu, this is cheating, where did he go and hide, he didn’t think about me. She goes.
Aaji scolds Swara for refusing to give donation for Ganpati pandal. She says whatever have today is due to Bappa. The lady says sure. Commissioner says my officer will manage your security. Kalyani taunts Malhar. She says I don’t need anyone. She goes. Malhar follows her. She goes riding a cycle. He thinks if she hates me and reached this status, then its fine with me. A guy stops her. Malhar catches him at gun point and gets angry. The guy says I m a reporter, I want to take her interview. Kalyani asks Malhar to leave him. The guy goes. She says the person who shot me five years back is protecting me now. He asks why didn’t you come to me if you were alive, answer me, where were you, who knows you are alive. She says I don’t want to answer you.
She says I m the new DM of the city, you have to manage my security. They argue. She sees his rank and says how did he become sub inspector. He asks her to answer. He throws her cycle away. She says let me go. He gets a headache and holds his head. He takes a pill. She thinks what happened to him, what pills are you taking. He asks did you come to see my state. She says I have come to meet my Aai, not you. She goes on her cycle. Sanam teri sanam…plays….
Anupriya comes for her convocation ceremony. Aao saheb gets glad seeing her. Godavari Deskhmukh is called on the stage. Anupriya goes and takes the degree. She gets tensed and thanks. Aao Saheb says our Godavari has become a lawyer. She comes home. Godavari says I want to practice now. They miss Nal. Anupriya looks on. Aao saheb snatches the degree from Anupriya. Godavari takes pics with her parents. Aao saheb calls Swara for the picture. She says you are Godavari’s second mum and Vivek’s second wife, come. Anupriya cries. Kalyani comes to her old house and recalls the past. She recalls coming there and asking about the family. She cries and says where is Aai, I m tired and want to see you.
Kalyani praying to Bappa standing outside old Deshmukh house/Wada, and asks if her Aai is fine. She prays for Anupriya’s well being. She hears someone coming and runs to the workshop. She sees a lady and calls her Aai. The lady turns and tells that she is not of her Aai’s age. She tells that she came to buy an idol. Kalyani says you shouldn’t have travel in this condition. She makes her sit and asks why is she making her baby hungry with fasting. She shows the chocolate. The lady tells that today is her first fast for her husband and she can’t have chocolate, even though it is her weakness. Kalyani tells that God blessed women to become a mother, tells that if you eat it then Bappa will not get angry. She makes her eat chocolate. The lady introduces herself as Avni. Kalyani says then you don’t need to search the idol as Avni gives the shape to Bappa’s idol. She sits down on the floor and makes Ganapati Bappa’s idol. Avni says you are an expert and asks did you make it before also. Kalyani recalls making idol with Malhar and then Malhar shooting at her. Avni says this idol is very beautiful and thanks her. She says you have to come to my house, to see darshan of Bappa. Kalyani says I have done his darshan already. Avni invites her. Kalyani asks her to make Modak. Avni asks her to give her address. Kalyani tells that though she returned to the city after a long time, but familiar with the city. Avni comes to her house and places the idol. She calls her husband, who is none other than Malhar and tells that she had met a girl today who helped her and made this idol. Malhar asks who was that girl? Just then Kalyani comes there. Malhar turns and looks at her. Avni thanks her for coming and tells that he is her husband Malhar.
Kalyani gets upset and emotional. Malhar gets emotional too. Avni asks Kalyani to tell her husband if she needs help of Police. She tells that she has made Modak also. Kalyani and Malhar looks at each other. Avni asks why you both are looking at each other as if you know each other from before. Malhar says no, I didn’t see her before. Avni says I was joking and tells that they shall do the aarti. Kalyani looks at Malhar and turns her face. Avni does aarti and gives to Kalyani and Malhar. Malhar makes a sad and crying face. Avni asks Malhar to let Kalyani do the aarti first. Kalyani does aarti, followed by Malhar. Aao Saheb does aarti in her house while others follows after her. Swara calls Anupriya and asks her to do aarti. Anupriya walks towards the aarti, when Vivek takes the plate from Swara’s hand. Avni asks Kalyani to have modak and tells Malhar that Kalyani went out of Aurangabad to study something. She asks what she had studied? Kalyani says IAS. Avni asks her if someone from her family supported her to study IAS. Kalyani thinks of Malhar. She sees Malhar and Avni’s photo there.
Durga Prasad comes to Kalyani and barks. Kalyani is about to call it Durga Prasad, and then asks Avni if they have the dog. Avni says the dog is like their child. Kalyani says she will go home. Avni asks Malhar to drop Kalyani home. Kalyani walks out and cries, venting out her pain. Malhar comes there. Their souls are seen coming out of their bodies and begin talking. He asks if she will not talk. Kalyani asks what is left now. Malhar asks why you didn’t come to tell me that you are alive. Kalyani asks if you had known that I am alive then wouldn’t have got married. She says you seems to be very happy with the marriage. Malhar says yes, I am very happy. Their souls go back to their bodies.
Kalyani asks Malhar not to come behind her and says let it go. Malhar sits in his house and writes on the kite, Aai misses you Moksh. Chittni nahi…..He says when your Baba misses you so much then thinks how much your Aai misses you Moksh. Avni comes there and asks him to have modak. She says it seems you are missing Moksh, if I could then I would have snatched Moksh from the God. He says you have check up next time. She says you remember, and asks him to have food. She tells that she is very tired today. Kalyani thinks what did happen to Malhar? She thinks he didn’t think about me once…and cries. She says Aai…where are you? She says Malhar ji moved on so fast, didn’t think of billu and me. He says she is stupid to think, says if he had any feelings for her then he wouldn’t have shot her.
