Aarti goes to different schools to get Muskaan admitted but fails everywhere. Meanwhile, Rakhi asks Tabassum where Aarti went without informing her and says something must be done before Aarti slips out of their control. Tabassum orders a man to spray mosquito repellent in every corner of the house. Rakhi suggests breaking the lock of Aarti’s room, but Suzaine and Lumi tease her instead. The man says it’s good the room is locked; he’ll spray the repellent through the window.
Inside, Muskaan is sleeping peacefully. Everyone leaves while the man sprays the repellent. Muskaan wakes up coughing and feels dizzy. She assumes it’s a new trick to make her lose the game. The smoke fills the room, and she struggles to breathe. Just then, Aarti returns home and asks what’s going on with all the smoke. Suzaine tells her they’re trying to get rid of mosquitoes. Aarti rushes upstairs in panic. Rakhi gets suspicious and follows her.
Aarti bursts into the room and finds Muskaan unconscious. Shocked, she cries and desperately tries to wake her up. She screams for Tabassum. Everyone runs upstairs and is stunned to see Aarti’s hand bleeding. Tabassum asks what happened. Aarti says to call a doctor because it hurts a lot. Rakhi asks why she cut her hand and what’s going on. Aarti angrily tells everyone to stop questioning her and leave. Tabassum sends everyone away and comforts Aarti.
Aarti thinks she had to send her mother out; otherwise, she wouldn’t be able to speak to the doctor privately. The doctor arrives, and Aarti shows her the injury. The doctor asks for hot water and a clean cloth. When Tabassum leaves to get it, Aarti locks the door and brings Muskaan out. She begs the doctor to check Muskaan first, saying that’s why she called her. The doctor refuses, but Aarti pleads and even scolds her in desperation. She quickly apologizes and asks her to just examine Muskaan once. Tabassum knocks on the door. Aarti whispers to the doctor not to tell anyone about Muskaan. The doctor opens the door, and Tabassum asks her to do the dressing before leaving again.
The doctor checks Muskaan and says she will treat Aarti’s daughter. Rakhi, standing outside, mocks Aarti for always creating drama. The doctor says she has been visiting them for years and knows that no matter what a woman becomes, her love as a mother never changes. She treats Muskaan and finishes the dressing. Aarti apologizes again and thanks her. The doctor advises her not to harm herself next time and to call her directly. Aarti thanks her sincerely, and the doctor leaves.
Meanwhile, Jaya faints. Everyone rushes to her. Tabassum tells her to agree with her and end her suffering, promising she’ll become a queen if she does. Jaya refuses, and Tabassum splashes water on her face. Back in the room, Muskaan regains consciousness and sees Aarti crying beside her. She hugs Aarti and says she doesn’t want anything to eat. Aarti holds her tightly, relieved.
Later, Aarti visits more schools and finally gets an admission form. She feels hopeful. Muskaan, waiting at home, wonders if Aarti would scold her for stepping out of the room. She decides Aarti won’t find out and sneaks out. Aarti, unaware, is still in the market. Muskaan crawls out through the AC duct, smiling as she sees how big the house is. She spots Rakhi and others but hides before they notice. Then she sees Tabassum and Suzaine coming from both sides and doesn’t know where to go.
Aarti buys a big teddy for Muskaan. Meanwhile, Muskaan hides inside a dustbin. Everyone dumps trash in it and leaves. She thinks maybe it’s part of the game and decides to wait for her turn to come out. From her hiding place, she sees Jaya tied up and wonders why no one is giving her water.
Ghosh scolds Rakhi’s kids for scattering garbage. They deny it. Rakhi orders them to clean up. Muskaan quietly places a glass of water near Jaya and wonders how to help her drink it. Jaya notices the glass and drinks from it. Ghosh sees her and thinks maybe Tabassum gave her the water since she sometimes shows a soft heart. When Tabassum finds out, she gets angry and asks Ghosh how he dared to give Jaya water. He denies it and says he thinks there’s a ghost in the house. Tabassum stops herself from reacting further and warns him not to repeat the mistake. She leaves. Muskaan hides, listening to everything, while Jaya whispers her thanks to the unknown person who helped her.
