Marriage For Duty On ZeeWorld Wednesday 31st December 2025 Update, Reet notices Anuradha and the rest making Gujiya. Unnati shows the Gujiya she made and Reet compliments them. Smita tells Unnati not to post it online, fearing others will copy her, but Unnati insists she will. Suman says the Gujiya don’t look good, but Unnati appreciates the honesty, sharing that she was always surrounded by fake praise as a child. She reflects that might be why Dhruv distanced himself and declares she wants to be a Chowdary now, not a Suryavanshi. Unnati leaves, and Suman asks Reet when she will embrace being a Suryavanshi. Reet stays silent.

Raghav is shown decorating his room to welcome Reet back. He dreams of her returning and giving him a chance, but snaps out of it determined to bring Reet back into his life at any cost.
Reet puts flowers in a vase. Anuradha notes that none of the Gujiya were stolen, which surprises her. She tells Reet it’s because while her body is here, her heart is with Raghav. Reet dismisses it, but then notices Raghav arriving at the Chowdary house.
Anuradha invites Raghav in. He says he came to take Reet back home. Smita offers to bring Reet’s luggage, but Reet stops her. She tells Raghav that despite putting her all into their relationship, she was never more than his “guarantee wife” and refuses to go back to the Suryavanshi mansion. Anuradha advises against it. Reet reminds them that they are already divorced on paper. Hearing this, Raghav prepares to leave, and Anuradha has a heart attack.
The Chowdary family and Raghav rush Anuradha to the hospital. Reet blames herself, and Raghav comforts her. The doctor informs them that Anuradha’s heart attack is due to stress, two arteries are blocked, and she needs an expensive angioplasty. Raghav and Reet assure him money isn’t a problem. Raghav offers to pay, but Reet insists they have insurance and hands over the papers. The doctor confirms Anuradha has been shifted to ICU.
Unnati calls Sharda, revealing Anuradha’s condition and that Reet and Raghav are in the hospital. Sharda is shocked to hear Raghav came to bring Reet home, but later relieved when she learns Reet refused to go due to the divorce papers.
At the hospital, Reet and Raghav sit by Anuradha. Reet thanks Raghav for his help and asks him to leave, but he refuses until Anuradha recovers. When Anuradha struggles to breathe, Reet calls for the doctor while Raghav comforts her, expressing how losing her would make life meaningless. The Chowdary family witnesses this. The doctor initially announces her death, but miraculously, Anuradha regains consciousness. Reet asks Raghav to leave, but he refuses. Reet remarks that if he hadn’t come, she wouldn’t have brought up the divorce, and Sharda overhears. The nurse reports that Anuradha is now out of danger.
Anuradha asks Reet to promise that she and Raghav will always be together. Reet says it’s not possible. Meanwhile, preparations for the Holi function begin at the Suryavanshi house. Sharda notices her husband tense about Raghav bringing back Reet but pretends innocence, claiming she’s supporting her son while respecting Reet’s decision.
During the Holika Dahan, Viren and Poonam hold the fire when Raghav suddenly joins. Gitanjali Devi is shocked to see him, especially with Rita. The priest asks the husband and wife to perform the ritual together, and Raghav and Reet circle the fire, holding hands. Gitanjali Devi is visibly unhappy.
Later, Reet enters Raghav’s decorated room, tearing down flowers and balloons in anger. She believes Raghav manipulated Anuradha to bring her back and blames him for everything. She refuses to listen to his explanations and goes straight to bed.
Dhruv sits with Anuradha until she regains consciousness. She shares that Reet was hiding her pain but understood both Reet and Raghav’s feelings, which is why she bound them together with her promise. She also asks Dhruv to join the Holi celebrations with Unnati.
The next morning, Reet notices Raghav covered her with a blanket to keep her warm and sees colors on her face. Irritated, she yells at him for the colors, but later realizes he didn’t do it.
