Marriage For Duty ZeeWorld Tuesday 16th December 2025 Update, Raghav takes his photo from Reet’s hands, and she starts teasing him, saying she already saw his baby picture where he had no clothes on. He throws it back at her jokingly but then realises he slipped his tongue. A little later, Reet tells him he doesn’t have to thank her for cleaning his shelf. Raghav says he wasn’t planning to thank her anyway, and she comments on that like always.

Dhruv sits alone and remembers what Sharda told him. He calls Reet, asking if she thinks he disappointed their father. He says all his old memories came back after everything that happened. Reet comforts him and tells him their father would be proud of him because he is holding the whole house together and working hard. Dhruv asks if she really means it, and she says yes before he ends the call.

The next morning, Divya throws all the leftover food into the bin, and Sharda questions her. Divya says she is hurt because Reet accused her yesterday but Sharda didn’t say anything to defend her. She demands some love too, and Sharda agrees.

Sharda then asks Reet where she is heading. Reet says she is going to work, but Sharda tells her to make breakfast for everyone first. Reet agrees. While talking to Viraj on the phone, Reet mentions a domestic violence story they will cover. Poonam overhears it and instantly thinks about Viren. Reet also notices bruises on Poonam’s back, but Poonam brushes it off and walks away.

Viren calls Reet to tell her that some people caught a delivery boy and are beating him. Reet rushes there, and Viraj arrives too. Reet stops the crowd and is shocked to see the delivery boy is Dhruv. She tries to protect him while people judge him. She interviews both Dhruv and the customer.

The customer claims he saw Dhruv eating his food. Dhruv explains he was riding fast, the box fell, and he just tasted it to see if it went bad. Reet says they’ll check the CCTV footage. Hearing that, the customer panics because he only filmed it for clout. He apologises to Dhruv, and Dhruv quietly leaves.

Reet follows Dhruv and talks to him. Dhruv asks why she isn’t questioning him for being a delivery boy. Reet tells him that she knows he took the job to support the family and says their father would be proud of him. Dhruv goes home and tells Unnati that Reet already knew.

Unnati remembers Sharda’s plan and calls Sharda to update her, and Sharda makes sure Raghav hears it. He storms toward Unnati.

Some men suddenly break into the Chowdhary house and beat Dhruv up for “serving half-eaten food.” Everyone tries to stop them, but they don’t listen. The whole family is shocked to learn Dhruv is working as a delivery boy. Anuradha calls Reet and cries about the chaos. Even the ladies manhandle Unnati. Raghav arrives and sees everything.

Raghav loses it when he sees a guy hurting Unnati. He grabs the man by the neck. Sharda and Viren try to stop him. Viren signals the men to leave, and they finally disperse.

Anuradha then asks Dhruv why he hid his job. Raghav scolds Dhruv, saying Unnati got dragged into trouble because of him. Dhruv argues that the men barged in, so it’s not his fault. Raghav says it is his fault and taunts him. Reet steps in and defends Dhruv, telling Raghav he hasn’t done anything wrong.

When Raghav asks Dhruv if this job is how he plans to make Unnati happy, tensions grow. Viren asks Reet how she knew about the job. Raghav hears and questions her. Reet says she already knew.

Raghav tells Unnati she won’t stay with Dhruv and tries to take her away. Dhruv blocks him. Unnati refuses to go. She says she already knew about the job and even Sharda knew. Raghav confronts Sharda, and she pretends she hid it because she feared his reaction.

Unnati reveals Dhruv took the delivery job because everyone always compared him to Reet. Reet tells her not to say that. Raghav scolds Reet for talking to Unnati like that. Dhruv and Raghav argue, and Raghav orders Dhruv to join his company. Dhruv refuses. Sharda says Dhruv is being arrogant. Raghav says it’s Reet’s problem now and leaves.

Sharda later scolds Unnati for defending Dhruv. Unnati warns Sharda not to talk to her like that and says Dhruv almost left her because of Sharda. Sharda becomes angry but keeps quiet. Viren calms her down. They decide Unnati should help separate Reet and Dhruv. Unnati agrees.

Dhruv thanks Unnati for standing by him. He says he thought she would leave him. Unnati says she never will. Dhruv apologises to Anuradha for hiding the truth, and she cries that they didn’t trust her enough to share their problems. Suman joins and says she dislikes his job but likes that Raghav offered him one. Dhruv says he won’t take Raghav’s offer. Reet tells Dhruv to consider it, but he refuses again.

Raghav tells Reet to convince Dhruv. He threatens that Dhruv will lose his job if she fails.

Reet checks on Poonam and her bruises. Poonam feels Raghav is upset with her because he didn’t eat the food she made. Reet says he is just angry about Dhruv’s job and offers to take the breakfast to him. Poonam teases her before she leaves.

At Dhruv’s workplace, the manager fires him, blaming him for ruining the company’s reputation. Dhruv says he’s innocent. When Dhruv threatens legal action, they have him dragged out. A staff member tells Dhruv that a powerful person ordered his firing. Dhruv instantly thinks of Raghav. Meanwhile, Viren pays the manager.

Dhruv storms into Raghav’s office and grabs him by the collar. Viren tries to stop them. Reet arrives and tells Dhruv to stop. Raghav pushes him away. Dhruv accuses Raghav of ruining his job. Reet says Raghav would never do such a sneaky thing — if he wanted to fire Dhruv, he’d do it openly. Dhruv snaps and says Reet is choosing her husband over her brother, and claims she isn’t his sister anymore. He storms out.

Raghav blames Reet for Dhruv’s behaviour and taunts her. Reet walks away.

Dhruv and Reet return home. Reet tries to talk, but Dhruv defends himself. She asks if gripping Raghav’s collar wasn’t wrong. Anuradha overhears and slaps Dhruv, reminding him he is their son-in-law. Dhruv insists Raghav got him fired. Reet says he is mistaken.

Anuradha tells Dhruv to apologise to Raghav. Dhruv refuses and says he will leave the house if they ask him again. He walks away. Anuradha asks Reet to go speak to Raghav, and she agrees.

Sharda sees Reet and blames her again. Reet tells her this isn’t the right time. She apologises for Dhruv’s behaviour. Raghav says she isn’t at fault and leaves. Sharda keeps insulting Reet.
