Marriage For Duty On ZeeWorld Sunday 28th December 2025 Update, Vasudha asks Madhav if she can talk to him. Madhav says she has full rights over his time, but Vasudha replies that she has no such rights. Karishma comes there and points out that Vasudha is already wearing a mangalsutra, adding that even Chandrika didn’t like it. She apologises for interrupting and leaves. An employee informs Madhav that Chandrika is calling him. Madhav tells Vasudha they will talk later and walks away.

Reet receives a courier meant for Raghav and wonders what it is. As she tries to open it, Raghav quickly snatches it away and says it’s a company legal document. He tells her to get ready for the sangeet. Reet goes inside. Raghav calls the lawyer angrily for not handing the divorce papers to him and decides to get Reet’s signature later. Vasudha overhears this and decides to tell Reet the truth.
Sharda praises the decorations, and Chandrika asks Reet to bring Vasudha because a surprise is planned for her. As Reet walks away, she almost slips, but Raghav saves her. He says he wants to talk, but Reet tells him she doesn’t have time and leaves.
Devansh asks who will host the function. Avinash volunteers and suggests Karishma as co-host, but she refuses. Devansh then asks Divya, and she agrees.
Reet meets Vasudha and asks if she spoke to Madhav. Vasudha admits she still hasn’t told him the truth and wants the marriage called off. Reet encourages her and tells her she needs courage. She then takes Vasudha to sit beside Madhav at the function.
Madhav tells Devansh he is waiting for a special guest. Vasudha sits next to him and asks about the ritual. Devansh says it’s a surprise. Avinash announces Reet and Raghav’s dance. They perform together, and Vasudha notices love in their eyes, hoping they always stay happy. The performance ends with applause.
Madhav becomes emotional when he sees Neeta and takes her blessings. Chandrika and Raghav are shocked by her arrival. Reet hugs Neeta, and Madhav introduces her to Vasudha, saying he will also introduce her to Chandrika.
Sharda asks if Chandrika knows about Neeta. Chandrika says she wants Neeta thrown out. Madhav says Neeta is like his mother and reveals he grew up in her orphanage. Neeta happily greets Chandrika, who is confused by her behaviour. Avinash announces Unnati and Dhruv’s dance, but Dhruv refuses due to a leg sprain.

Chandrika tells Prabhat she can’t believe Neeta is acting like they don’t know each other. A flashback shows Neeta calling Chandrika to the police station before her accident. Arun later tells Chandrika that Neeta doesn’t want to meet her and gives her a letter. Chandrika learns Neeta chose to live with Arun.
Back in the present, Chandrika feels betrayed. Sharda tells Viren the truth—that Chandrika and Neeta were once close, and she planned Neeta’s accident to protect herself. She reveals Neeta lost her memory, and she used it to her advantage. Viren is shocked but admits their luxury came from her actions.
Vasudha again tries to speak to Madhav, but Avinash jokes that Madhav must propose first. Divya pushes Madhav to do it. Madhav promises Vasudha that she is his top priority and that he will always support her.
Later, Avinash announces their dance. Vasudha mistakenly dances with Madhav, thinking he is Devansh. Everyone claps. Vasudha snaps back to reality. Raghav thinks about freeing Reet from the marriage. Devansh praises Reet and Raghav’s performance and blesses them. After he leaves, Raghav signs the divorce papers.
Reet helps Vasudha get ready for the haldi ceremony. Vasudha panics, saying she can’t go through with it. Reet reassures her. Vasudha thinks about telling Reet about the divorce but hesitates. Hanumant and Raghu arrive, and Vasudha fears Reet will be shattered by the truth.
Sharda later tells Raghav to move on since Neeta has. She manipulates him, and Raghav agrees not to talk to Neeta again. Meanwhile, Unnati tries to get close to Dhruv, but he pushes her away.
Vasudha writes a letter for Madhav and asks Reet to give it to him. Reet does so, but Madhav says he will read it later and goes for the haldi ritual. During the ceremony, Sarika secretly takes the letter from him, but later Karishma realises it’s ruined.
Reet panics, thinking if Madhav doesn’t read the letter, Vasudha will leave forever. Vasudha packs her bags and hopes Madhav learns the truth.
During the ceremony, the chandelier almost falls on Neeta, but Raghav saves her and gets injured. Reet treats his wound and praises him for saving his enemy. She urges him to end the hatred.
Later, Reet mixes chilli powder into the haldi to create chaos. Madhav rushes to his room to wash his face. Vasudha uses the moment to sneak into Madhav’s room through the balcony. Madhav helps her climb inside.
Vasudha finally tells Madhav the truth. She admits she is already married to Dev and shows her mangalsutra. She explains how the shoot wedding became real for her. Madhav is shocked. Vasudha apologises and says she plans to leave, not choosing Dev or Chandrika’s family.
While Sarika waits outside, Vasudha and Madhav talk privately. Vasudha admits Dev doesn’t know her feelings. She decides to leave the house.
Meanwhile, Sharda plots again, saying Raghav and Reet must be separated after the wedding. Unnati questions her, but Sharda assures her their marriage will stay safe.
Sarika later discovers Vasudha is missing and informs Chandrika. Dev finds Vasudha in the garden and brings her back. The haldi ceremony continues, but soon Karishma realises Madhav is missing too.
Raghav finally hands Reet the divorce papers. He apologises for making her his “guarantee wife” and tells her she is free from the marriage.
