Mannat questions DCP Karan about Dhairya and asks why he was transferred to Mumbai. Karan explains that the transfer was a punishment because he tried to expose a minister. However, his superiors later helped him resolve the issues. Mannat is relieved to hear this and thanks Karan. Dhairya overhears their conversation and thanks Karan for lying to Mannat.

Dhairya thinks that Mannat is very smart and will not rest until she finds answers to all her questions. He realises that his mother knows nothing about Mannat and is underestimating her. He worries because he does not know how to handle Mannat or stop her from discovering the truth.
Later, as Dhairya gets ready, Mallika holds his chin and questions him about refusing to help her mother. She complains that he should not have refused Aishwarya and reminds him that she knows his secret. Mallika threatens to expose the truth to Vikrant and asks Dhairya if he has considered what will happen to his mother when Vikrant discovers everything.
Dhairya grabs Mallika and warns her never to threaten him again. He declares that he is not afraid of either Mallika or Aishwarya and challenges her to reveal his secret if she wants to. He claims that he does not care because Vikrant will finally learn that Dhairya is his biological brother. Even if Vikrant throws his mother out of the house, Dhairya insists that he will not be bothered. He then warns Mallika that she cannot imagine what he will do to her and Aishwarya once the truth comes out. He threatens to send both women back to prison and ensure they are placed in the worst jail possible. Dhairya tells Mallika to think a hundred times before threatening him.
Mallika refuses to back down and decides that she will not spare Dhairya. She sends Aishwarya a message, informing her that she plans to expose Dhairya in front of Vikrant and will handle everything herself.
Meanwhile, Neetu becomes worried about the necklace. Roni learns from Shalini that Vikrant has already landed and is on his way. He asks Neetu about the necklace, but Vishaka arrives wearing it before Neetu can respond. Vishaka asks Roni how she looks in it, leaving him furious. However, Neetu stops Roni from questioning Vishaka because she fears that Vishaka might get angry and reveal their secret. She does not want Vikrant to discover the truth.
Mannat praises the necklace and asks Vishaka if she realises that it belongs to Neetu. She points out that Neetu is the only person who has the right to wear it and says that Vikrant will return it to his mother as soon as he sees it. Mannat even makes a bet with Vishaka. She secretly remembers how she applied itching powder to the necklace, and Vishaka soon begins feeling uncomfortable while wearing it.
Meanwhile, Mallika dances with Dhairya, and Vikrant joins them when he arrives. As the itching becomes unbearable, Vishaka removes the necklace and throws it to the ground. Vikrant recognises it as his mother’s necklace and scolds Vishaka for taking away Neetu’s rightful possession.
Mannat pretends to support Vishaka, suggesting that she might have worn the necklace by mistake. Vishaka agrees with her explanation. Vikrant prepares to return the necklace to Neetu, but Mannat cleans it before handing it over to her. Roni notices Mannat secretly helping Neetu and tells her that Mannat is supporting her behind the scenes, but Neetu still does not understand her intentions.
