Love’s Complicated On Starlife Thursday 28th May 2026 Update, Akshara stops Abhimanyu in front of everyone. The Goenkas and Birlas stand shocked as she runs to him and finally confesses her love. Abhimanyu gets emotional and hugs her tightly while accepting her love too. Neela and Mahima feel happy seeing them together. Even Neel starts dancing happily and clapping after seeing Abhimanyu and Akshara reunite. Parth calms him down.

Akshara tells both families that she loves Abhimanyu and even proposes marriage to him. Abhimanyu recalls all his moments with her and gently cups her face. The two decide they will speak to their families together. Akshara apologises to Manish for hiding the truth, but he gets furious. He says there is no point saying sorry after creating so much drama. Akshara admits she was late in understanding her feelings. Manish gets heartbroken and disowns both Akshara and Arohi. He scolds them for making huge decisions without taking advice from the elders and says both of them have grown up now and no longer care about the family.
Akshara asks Manish to calm down, but Harsh taunts the Goenkas and says they always create drama. Manish fires back and says ever since the Birlas entered their lives, everything has become a mess. He blames Abhimanyu for all the confusion and questions Akshara for hiding the truth. Abhimanyu then speaks up and explains that Akshara chose Arohi’s happiness over her own love because of the values she learned during childhood. Harsh gets irritated and asks Abhimanyu why he is lecturing the Goenkas about their family matter. He refers to Akshara as “ladaki,” but Abhimanyu quickly corrects him and says he should either take her name or call her “Akshu.”
Harsh accuses Akshara of running away with her sister’s fiancé, but Abhimanyu reveals that he was the one who forced Akshara to confess her feelings in front of everyone. Harsh then questions Abhimanyu for agreeing to marry Arohi in the first place. Abhimanyu says he never promised Arohi anything and had already made it clear that he would always love Akshara.
Arohi breaks all ties with Abhimanyu and disowns Akshara too. She accuses Akshara of stealing her happiness and says she feels disgusted to have her as a step-sister. Arohi cries that Akshara has always taken everything away from her. While running away in anger, Arohi slips from the stairs. Akshara rushes to save her and protects her from getting hurt, but ends up injured herself.
Arohi angrily asks Akshara why she is pretending to be good and questions why she saved her. Akshara faints immediately. Abhimanyu rushes to support her, but Manish asks him to put her down and tells Kairav and Vansh to take Akshara away instead. Abhimanyu refuses to leave her. Manjiri asks him to drop Akshara home safely. Abhimanyu checks Akshara’s pulse while Akshara slowly regains consciousness after recalling Arohi’s hurtful words.
Abhimanyu softly asks Akshara if she is okay. Akshara immediately asks about Arohi. Kairav tells her Arohi is fine. Abhimanyu reassures her again and checks her trauma carefully. On the other side, Arohi remembers Abhimanyu rejecting her and breaks down crying loudly.
Harsh gets furious with Arohi and calls her an idiot. He worries about Abhimanyu and says his son has gone mad in Akshara’s love. Harsh also wonders how the Goenkas must be treating him there. Meanwhile, Abhimanyu tells Akshara that she is fine. Manish coldly asks Kairav to send Abhimanyu away after he finishes checking her and even offers him money for the treatment.
Abhimanyu refuses to take the money. He tells Manish he will only accept it on the day Manish blesses his relationship with Akshara. Manish says that day will never come, but Abhimanyu confidently replies that it definitely will. Akshara asks Abhimanyu to leave because she wants to handle the family herself. Abhimanyu tells her this is about both of them, so they should fight together. Still, Akshara insists that he leave and promises she will call him later. Before leaving, Abhimanyu praises her courage for finally accepting her love and asks her not to become weak now. An angry Manish throws Abhimanyu out of the house.
At the Birla house, the media starts calling nonstop and questioning the family about Abhimanyu running away from his wedding. Meanwhile, Abhimanyu happily dances on the road while thinking about Akshara’s confession and waiting for her call.
Back at home, everyone gets shocked when Harsh suddenly slaps Neel. He blames Neel for ruining the Birla family reputation and cruelly calls him an orphan. Manjiri immediately supports Neel and says he is not an orphan. Harsh suddenly suffers an anxiety attack, leaving the whole family stressed.
Abhimanyu thanks God and keeps smiling while remembering Akshara’s confession. At the Goenka house, Akshara tries speaking to Manish again, but Arohi stops her and asks Manish to listen to her first. Manish refuses to hear either of them. Kairav and Suhasini request him to at least listen once.
Arohi again accuses Akshara of always stealing her happiness. She says Akshara took away both Sirat and Abhimanyu from her life. In anger, Arohi manhandles Akshara. At the same moment, Abhimanyu strangely feels Akshara’s pain from far away.
Later, Kairav tells Arohi to stop dragging Sirat into every argument because her death was just an accident. He reminds Arohi about all her own mistakes. Arohi admits she also made mistakes, but says Akshara should be punished equally too.
Abhimanyu finally reaches home, but Harsh stops him from entering the house.
