Love’s Complicated On Starlife Thursday 20th August 2026 Update, Akshara asks Manish why the Goenkas have come to the Birla house. Manjiri also asks Swarna if everything is fine. Manish asks the Birlas to finish their dinner so they can talk. Akshara then asks him why they came.

Swarna reveals that the Goenkas are ready for Kairav and Anisha’s alliance. She asks Akshara to give Anisha a bangle. Swarna and Manish ask Anand and Mahima if they have any problem with the alliance. Anand and Mahima agree, making Akshara excited to celebrate Kairav and Anisha’s alliance.
Abhimanyu asks Kairav and Anisha if they are happy with the decision. Anisha says that if she was not sure, she would never have proposed to Kairav. Kairav says his parents’ love story had many ups and downs, and no relationship is perfect. He believes that people make a relationship perfect through their efforts.
Abhimanyu asks Kairav and Anisha to think about their decision again. Meanwhile, Akshara gets excited to perform the ritual and asks for Suhasini. Swarna says Suhasini is not well and that they will bring her for the other rituals.
Abhimanyu decides to check on Suhasini and visits her. During their conversation, Suhasini admits that she is not sure about Anisha. Abhimanyu tries to convince her to accept Kairav and Anisha’s alliance.
Kairav also talks to Anisha and asks her not to repeat the past because his family will not be able to bear the pain again. Anisha assures him that she will not repeat her mistakes.
Manjiri asks Mahima if she is comfortable with the alliance. She says Kairav is very responsible. Mahima says she is worried about Anisha because, as a mother, she wants her daughter to settle down. Manjiri asks her not to worry.
Abhimanyu finally manages to convince Suhasini. She blesses him and Akshara. Akshara then asks Kairav if he is sure about Anisha. Kairav says yes. She asks him what he expects from his relationship with Anisha, and he says they are different from each other, which is why they complement each other well.
Akshara promises Kairav that she will always stand by him. Meanwhile, the Birlas and Goenkas wait for Suhasini. Akshara tells Mahima not to worry because Abhimanyu will probably bring Suhasini soon.
Abhimanyu arrives with Suhasini, making everyone happy. Akshara thanks him. Anisha then says she misses Harsh. Anand reveals that he knew Anisha would miss him, so he called him. Harsh arrives with a bouquet and wishes Akshara a happy birthday.
Akshara tells Harsh that she also received his envelope. Harsh blesses her, and Akshara thanks Abhimanyu for making her birthday perfect. She becomes excited for Kairav’s ritual to begin.
The Goenkas and Birlas dance together to celebrate the alliance. Akshara becomes emotional, but Kairav asks her to stop crying because he is not leaving her and is only getting married. Swarna says the bond between Akshara and Kairav is unique.
However, Suhasini soon shocks everyone by saying that Anisha cannot return to Mumbai after the wedding. She says Anisha can do anything she wants while she is in Udaipur with Kairav, but after marriage, she cannot keep going back to Mumbai.
Kairav tries to speak to Suhasini, but she stops him from interfering. Akshara asks Suhasini what would happen if the Birlas asked her to stop singing. Suhasini says the two situations are different.
Abhimanyu takes Anisha’s side. Akshara says choosing a career should be Anisha’s decision. She asks what would happen if Anisha asked Kairav to quit his work.
Anisha then decides to quit acting. She tells Akshara not to worry because she is ready to become a housewife. Abhimanyu asks if she is sure, and Anisha says she can make her own decision and is sure about it.
Mahima says everything is now sorted. She reveals that she has already spoken to the pandit and Kairav and Anisha can get married after ten days. The Birlas and Goenkas are shocked that the wedding is so soon.
Suhasini says she will also ask her pandit and reveals that she has planned many things for Kairav’s wedding, so they can rush the wedding. Akshara and Abhimanyu convince her to hold the wedding after ten days.
Mahima thinks she wants Anisha to get settled before she causes more problems. Suhasini agrees to the wedding, and Anisha assures her that she will become a good daughter-in-law.
Akshara worries about Abhimanyu’s hand, but he tells her not to worry because his hand will be fine. He asks her to focus on her singing along with his treatment and Kairav’s wedding.
Vansh, Neil and Parth congratulate Kairav. Kairav becomes happy about his wedding. Neil then says there is a problem. When the Birlas and Goenkas ask what it is, Neil says they still need to decide which side Akshara and Abhimanyu will attend the wedding from.
Manjiri says Neil scared her. Neil jokes that they need to toss a coin to decide which side Akshara and Abhimanyu will be on. Akshara remains worried about Abhimanyu’s hand, and he comforts her.
Anand thanks Harsh for visiting them, and the two have a conversation. Harsh tells Anand that Manjiri’s good upbringing made Abhimanyu and Neil good people.
Akshara asks Harsh if Kunal has replied. Harsh says he has already sent Kunal an email. Akshara then messages Kunal and asks him to help cure Abhimanyu’s hand.
Mahima gives Akshara the responsibility of handling Kairav and Anisha’s wedding. Abhimanyu learns about Akshara’s semi-final round and asks her to focus on her singing. Akshara tells him that she is worried about whether they will be able to handle so many things at the same time. Abhimanyu assures her that they will manage everything together.
The Goenkas begin preparing for Kairav and Anisha’s engagement. Anisha decides to buy the ring from her friend’s shop, and the Goenkas ask Kairav to support her.
Anisha then meets an unknown person. Akshara spots her, and Anisha tries to convince her that the casting team is chasing her.
