Love’s Complicated Starlife Friday 21st August 2026 Update, Kunal says he should leave and meet Abhimanyu another day. Akshara asks him if Abhimanyu’s check-up cannot happen that day. Kunal says they can do it that day, but Abhimanyu might be tired. He feels it would be better to do the diagnosis another day.

Manish tells Kunal that they had called him for Abhimanyu, but he got stuck at a family function. Anand then decides to set up the diagnosis in Abhimanyu’s cabin. Kunal is shocked when Anand says Abhimanyu should be ready at exactly 10 AM.
Kunal asks the Birlas if they are not going to celebrate Rakshabandhan. Anisha says Abhimanyu’s hand is the priority and they can celebrate Rakshabandhan later. Neil says it is the first time someone is giving so much importance to Rakshabandhan.
Kunal says Rakshabandhan is the purest bond between a brother and sister. Manjiri thanks him for deciding to help Abhimanyu. Manish adds that Kunal left his surgery but returned for Abhimanyu, and they cannot be more grateful.
Manjiri says Kunal is no less than a God to them. Kunal asks her not to call him God and says he wants to remain a human. He adds that God can never be selfish, but humans can sometimes be selfish. Kunal then asks Abhimanyu to rest well and compliments Akshara’s singing, saying he has heard such a melodious voice after a long time.
Abhimanyu and Akshara talk excitedly about his hand getting better. They both imagine that once his hand is fine, he will rush back to the OT. Their excitement grows as they think about him returning to surgery.
Manjiri talks to Harsh and says Kunal is a good man. Harsh says Kunal did not even mention his fee and that he is happy that Abhimanyu will be able to perform surgery again. Manjiri corrects him and says Akshara’s efforts are what brought Kunal to them. Harsh agrees with her.
Manjiri and Harsh decide to keep a fast for Abhimanyu until he gets better. Meanwhile, Akshara bumps into Anisha and remembers seeing Anisha meeting someone. Anisha quickly changes the subject and says Abhimanyu’s positive result will be the best Rakshabandhan gift for her.
Anisha asks Akshara if she needs anything because she is going out with Manjiri, but Akshara remains silent.
Late at night, Abhimanyu worries about his hand. Akshara comforts him and gives him hope. Kunal then diagnoses Abhimanyu while Akshara remains worried and prays to God to give Abhimanyu strength.
Akshara decides to give up her favourite thing in return for Abhimanyu getting a positive result. Anand and Harsh wait for Abhimanyu as Kunal checks the report.
Abhimanyu asks Kunal about the result. Kunal assures him and says there is a 99% chance that his hand will be fine. Akshara, Anand and Harsh are overjoyed. However, Kunal adds that the remaining 1% will depend on destiny.
He asks Abhimanyu to remain stress-free for the next four days because he will perform the surgery as soon as possible. Akshara and Abhimanyu celebrate the good news.
Elsewhere, Suhasini becomes offended after seeing Anisha’s lehenga. Akshara overhears someone at Birla Hospital asking Anisha to meet him. Swarna asks Suhasini to stay quiet and tells her to give Anisha a chance.
Suhasini calls Anisha a spoiled brat. She warns that if they do not stop Anisha now, it could become a problem for everyone later.
Akshara and Abhimanyu arrive and ask what happened. Akshara asks Suhasini why she is upset. Anisha tells Abhimanyu that she ordered a lehenga that is a little revealing. She explains that the lehenga does not belong to her, but Suhasini does not believe her.
Akshara clears up the confusion. Abhimanyu then questions Suhasini for not accepting Anisha wholeheartedly. Manish defends Suhasini, but Abhimanyu says Kairav is a nice guy and that after marriage, Anisha should not have to keep defending herself against Suhasini.
Akshara tells Abhimanyu that he is misunderstanding Suhasini’s intentions and asks him to stay calm. Abhimanyu says he cannot stay calm when his sister is being accused. Mahima asks him not to stretch the matter.
Akshara says they should not accuse anyone without confirmation. She remembers the random man who had been messaging Anisha. Back in the moment, she asks everyone to move on because Kunal has given them good news about Abhimanyu’s surgery and they should celebrate.
Manjiri corrects Abhimanyu for reacting to Suhasini and says that old people can sometimes react that way. Abhimanyu realizes his mistake and decides to apologize to Suhasini.
However, Akshara remains worried about Anisha. She searches for her and overhears Anisha talking to her boyfriend. Anisha asks if he is fine and tells him to show her the bruise. She apologizes for not being there when he needed her and promises that after her wedding, she will be with him permanently.
Anisha’s boyfriend says that his wife will never give him a divorce, which is why Anisha needs to get married soon. Anisha assures him that she will continue their affair even after her wedding.
Akshara is stunned by what she hears. She decides to hide the truth from Abhimanyu because he needs to remain stress-free for his surgery.
Meanwhile, Neil, Parth and Abhimanyu are excited to celebrate Rakshabandhan with Anisha after a long time. Akshara decides to confront Anisha, but Anisha asks her to talk later because celebrating Rakshabandhan is more important.
Anand arrives with Kunal and says that he insisted Kunal join them for Rakshabandhan. Anisha thanks Kunal for giving them hope about Abhimanyu’s surgery.
Kairav says that, just like Anisha, Akshara’s happiness also matters to him. He says Akshara wants to see Abhimanyu’s hand working again at any cost.
Swarna pulls Anisha and Akshara into a dance. Anisha ties Rakhi to Abhimanyu, Neil and Parth. Kunal misses Maya. Akshara promises Kairav that she will not let anyone hurt him. She then looks at Anisha, keeping the truth to herself.
