Abhimanyu tries to help Neil, but Neil continues avoiding him. Akshara decides to find a way to bring the brothers closer and hatches a plan to end their differences. Her efforts work, and she manages to bring Abhimanyu and Neil together again. The Birlas are happy to see them getting along.
Meanwhile, Manish tells Swarna and the other Goenkas that Akshara and Abhimanyu have invited them to Shivansh’s birthday celebration. Ansh reveals that Arohi has invited him as well, leaving Kairav and Manish confused. Akhilesh asks whether they are going to attend or not. Manish thinks about Arohi and decides to go with the Goenkas. He worries that Arohi may ruin the function and believes that if he is around, she might not create a mess.
The Birlas dress up for Shiv’s birthday celebration, while Arohi distributes birthday caps to the guests. One of the women recognises her as Akshara’s sister. Arohi immediately tells her that she is also a Birla. Neil then tells everyone about his marriage to Arohi. Arohi becomes irritated and questions whether she has no identity of her own apart from being known as Akshara’s sister. Manish intervenes and asks her what problem she has with people recognising her as Akshara’s sister. The Birlas warmly welcome the Goenkas, and Akshara and Abhimanyu happily meet their family.
Abhimanyu and Akshara are excited to see both families together. Swarna wishes Shivansh on his birthday. During the celebration, Abhimanyu receives a call from Akshara’s doctor and steps aside to follow up on her case. Arohi overhears him saying that it is the most important case of his life. She thinks that nobody is more important to Abhimanyu than Akshara and wonders whether the reports are related to her. Arohi decides to find out the truth.
A woman speaks to Manjiri and says that it is high time Abhimanyu and Akshara planned for a baby. Akshara becomes shy. The woman then suggests a ritual in which Akshara and Abhimanyu will hold toy dolls representing a girl and a boy, and Shiv will choose one. Manjiri and Swarna say that a boy and a girl are equally special to them. Rohan and Manish hope that Shiv chooses the girl toy.
Abhimanyu becomes restless when he sees how happy Akshara is. Shiv eventually chooses the girl toy, making Akshara extremely excited at the thought of welcoming a baby girl. She asks Abhimanyu if the delivery can happen in six months, but he reminds her that no matter how excited she is, they cannot change the fact that a baby takes nine months to arrive. Akshara remains overjoyed, while Arohi decides that she must expose whatever Abhimanyu is hiding in front of everyone.
Shefali asks Akshara if she has planned anything for Shiv’s birthday. Suddenly, a teddy bear falls, and Shefali becomes upset because she thinks Shiv’s decoration has been ruined before she can take a picture. Akshara quickly fixes the decoration. Everyone praises her, including Neil. Arohi becomes jealous when she sees the attention Akshara receives and decides to ruin the happiness of Akshara and Abhimanyu.
Abhimanyu suddenly spots Arohi holding Akshara’s report. He confronts her and asks what she is hiding. During the confrontation, Abhimanyu accidentally raises his hand and ends up slapping Arohi. Arohi immediately accuses him of deliberately slapping her. Neil and Shefali witness the incident. Arohi threatens Abhimanyu and says that she will expose his truth in front of Akshara and the entire family. Abhimanyu warns her to stay away from him.
Neil and Arohi then see Abhimanyu and Arohi together. Arohi intentionally accuses Abhimanyu of slapping her, making Neil furious with him. Abhimanyu explains that he was only turning around and did not intentionally hit her. Arohi creates a scene and convinces Neil that Abhimanyu hates her and deliberately raised his hand against her. Akshara and the others remain confused by the situation. Rohan asks the guests to leave, while Neil takes Arohi’s side. Manjiri asks Abhimanyu and Neil to explain what happened.
Neil demands to know how Abhimanyu could slap Arohi and says that he is not in the right state of mind to understand anything. Abhimanyu tries to defend himself. Manjiri again asks both brothers to explain the matter, but Neil tells everyone that Abhimanyu slapped Arohi. Abhimanyu questions how Neil could even believe that he would raise his hand against Arohi. Akshara and Manjiri support Abhimanyu.
Arohi continues to provoke Neil, saying that nobody cares that Abhimanyu slapped her. Abhimanyu keeps defending himself, but Neil loses his temper. Akshara takes Abhimanyu’s side and says that he could never slap any girl. She asks Neil to let the matter go. Harsh and Manish also ask Neil not to stretch the issue further. Arohi then tells Neil to end the matter because nobody cares about them. Her words further provoke him, and Neil accuses Abhimanyu of slapping her.
Akshara firmly says that even if God himself came and told her that Abhimanyu slapped Arohi, she still would not believe it. Neil yells at Akshara, but Abhimanyu tells him that shouting will not prove him guilty. Neil then points out that Shefali also witnessed the incident and asks her what she saw. Shefali says she does not think Abhimanyu did anything wrong. Neil asks her to tell them exactly what she witnessed instead of saying what she feels. Shefali admits that from a distance, it looked like Abhimanyu had raised his hand.
Neil continues insisting that Abhimanyu raised his hand against Arohi and then asks Manish to make him apologise to her. Manish defends Abhimanyu. Swarna tries to convince Manish that there may have been some confusion between Arohi and Abhimanyu, but Manish insists that nobody knows Arohi better than he does. Arohi then claims that Abhimanyu slapped her because of a file.
Abhimanyu questions Arohi about why she was in his room with his file in the first place. Arohi avoids answering and instead asks the family to support her. Neil demands that Abhimanyu apologise to Arohi, but Abhimanyu refuses. Neil becomes even more irritated and accuses Akshara of supporting Abhimanyu despite believing that he is wrong. Akshara tries to calm him down, but Neil refuses to listen and continues supporting Arohi.
Just when the situation becomes more heated, a police inspector arrives and shocks both the Birlas and Goenkas. He reveals that a domestic violence case has been filed against Abhimanyu. Arohi secretly thinks about how she messaged Neha at the right time and how Neha informed the police.
