Lakshmi is surprised when Paro and Rohan arrive at Rano’s house to meet her. She warmly embraces them, while Rano goes to check the door and becomes happy to see the children. Shalu also gets ready and joins the family, hugging Paro and Rohan. However, Paro refuses to go to Shalu and says that she only wants to stay with Lakshmi. Meanwhile, Rishi, Lakshmi and the other family members are searching for the children. Neelam assumes that the kids are upset with her and may have gone somewhere to hide.
The driver overhears them calling for the children and informs them that they have gone to Lakshmi. Neelam, Rishi and Malishka then arrive at Rano’s house. Rano tells the children that Neelam was the one who sent Lakshmi out of the house. Lakshmi notices Neelam standing at the door.
At the same time, Anushka enters Ayush’s room and places a spiked drink for him. She meets him while he is getting ready for his marriage function and asks him to have the drink. Ayush thanks her and asks who she is. Anushka lies that she is a servant who recently got married and cannot show her face to anyone. Ayush says that he is neither interested in seeing her face nor having the drink and leaves the room. Anushka then removes her veil and reveals that she is very interested in Ayush and wants him back.
Back at Rano’s house, Neelam asks Rohan and Paro to return home, but Paro refuses to leave Lakshmi. She says that she will only come home if Lakshmi comes with them. Paro even calls Neelam bad, but Lakshmi asks her to apologise. Paro eventually says sorry, but the children remain adamant. Neelam then asks Lakshmi to return home with them. Rishi and Malishka are surprised by her decision. Neelam tells Lakshmi that she respects her and wants her to come home for the sake of the children. Lakshmi agrees, making the children happy as they hug her. Rishi looks at Lakshmi while Anushka continues longing for Ayush.
Kiran finds Anushka in Ayush’s room and asks what she is doing there. Anushka reveals that she has come to win Ayush back. She explains that she brought a spiked drink for him, hoping he will drink it and fall asleep. She plans to make sure his marriage mahurat passes so that he misses his own wedding. Kiran receives a call from Malishka, who informs her that Neelam is bringing Lakshmi back. Anushka asks why Neelam changed her mind, and Kiran explains that Rohan and Paro insisted that Lakshmi attend the wedding. Anushka realises that they had forgotten about the children and asks Kiran to help her stop Ayush’s wedding. Kiran scolds her for the plan.
Malishka then arrives and declares that Lakshmi will not leave the house this time. She regrets that Rohan also wants Lakshmi to stay. She asks Kiran to think of a plan and says they need to create a fight between Rishi and Lakshmi because she does not want them to reconcile.
Harleen sees Lakshmi back at the Oberoi mansion and managing the wedding preparations. She tells Neelam that she did the right thing by bringing Lakshmi back. She reminds her that Shalu is Lakshmi’s sister and Lakshmi should be present for her sister’s wedding. Harleen also points out that Rohan clearly wants Lakshmi to be there. Neelam asks Karishma to check whether Shalu is ready.
Aanchal then asks Neelam if she is hiding something because she knows Neelam would not agree to Rohan’s demand so easily. Neelam admits that there is something she knows, but she wants to confirm the truth before telling Aanchal. Aanchal is left wondering what Neelam is thinking.
Lakshmi and Rishi share an emotional moment. Lakshmi remembers Rishi’s words and walks away. Meanwhile, Malishka tells Kiran that her mind has gone blank and she does not know what to plan next. Kiran admits that she has no ideas either. Malishka says that she needs to attend to the guests, but Anushka reminds her of her promise and asks when she will stop the wedding. Malishka assures her that she has not forgotten anything and promises that she will stop the marriage.
Ayush comes across Shalu and admires her. They share a happy moment as Shalu tells him that she is glad Lakshmi has come to the wedding. She also hopes that Rishi will reunite with Lakshmi. Shalu then tells Ayush how the children became adamant and forced Neelam to invite Lakshmi back. Ayush says that now Lakshmi is back, everything will soon be fine, and he happily hugs Shalu. Karishma arrives and asks them to come for the marriage mahurat.
Neelam sees Lakshmi and tries to walk away, but Lakshmi stops her. She explains that she has only returned to attend the wedding and does not intend to stay back at the house. Malishka overhears their conversation. Neelam tells Lakshmi that she has a problem with her attitude because she does not respect her and always behaves the same way. Lakshmi apologises and asks Neelam to trust her. She defends herself but says that she is sorry to tell Neelam that she has crossed her limits.
Neelam laughs at Lakshmi’s expectations. Lakshmi says that she has always wanted the best for the family and regrets that Neelam has still not been able to become a mother figure to her. Lakshmi later tells Neelam that she always wanted to build all the relationships in the Oberoi family, but she never got a mother in Neelam. Neelam asks her not to accuse her and the argument becomes more heated when Neelam speaks against Lakshmi’s mother. She asks Lakshmi to say everything that is in her heart while continuing to belittle her.
Lakshmi says they should end the argument before it destroys their relationship completely. Neelam angrily tells her to leave her sight. Lakshmi reminds her that she has only come to attend Shalu’s wedding and asks Neelam not to trouble Shalu. She wants Neelam to keep Shalu happy. Neelam asks whether Lakshmi is threatening her, but Lakshmi clarifies that she is only making a request. Neelam refuses to listen.
Meanwhile, Balwinder calls Malishka and reminds her that she is carrying his baby. Malishka questions why he is lecturing her. She tells him not to worry about the baby and admits that she does not like him. Balwinder tells her not to tolerate him if she does not want him around. Malishka admits that he is the father of her baby but asks him not to call her so often. She makes it clear that she likes Rishi, not Balwinder.
Neelam overhears the entire conversation and is stunned. She cannot believe that Malishka is carrying Balwinder’s child. Malishka does not notice her and tells Balwinder that she will speak to him later before ending the call. She then looks around and feels that someone was nearby. She finds Neelam’s earring and becomes terrified that Neelam has discovered her secret. Panicking, Malishka decides that she must do something and rushes to Kiran.
Neelam, meanwhile, keeps thinking about Lakshmi’s words and regrets the way she treated her. She admits that she trusted Malishka and made a huge mistake. Malishka then accidentally collides with Lakshmi. Lakshmi notices that she looks worried and asks what is wrong. Malishka denies being scared and says that she is not afraid of anyone before rebuking Lakshmi. Lakshmi tells her to stay away, while Malishka says that she has a lot of work to do. Lakshmi becomes suspicious and wonders what Malishka is planning. She hopes that the truth will finally come out.
As the children play, Aanchal and Karishma discuss their expectations about Lakshmi staying at the Oberoi mansion. Malishka takes Kiran aside and tells her that something important has happened. Anushka secretly keeps an eye on them and follows Malishka, but she bumps into Harleen and lies to her about where she is going.
Kiran asks Malishka what happened. Anushka joins them and also asks what the matter is. Malishka finally reveals that Neelam has overheard the truth. Kiran is shocked and asks what Neelam knows. Malishka tells them that Neelam has discovered that Balwinder is the father of her unborn child. Kiran and Anushka are both terrified by the revelation.
