Lucy complained to Adam about Kai but he asked her to understand because Kai only wanted to check on him. He said she was his family too but Lucy said Kai was not her family. Adam said he was feeling ill so Lucy stopped nagging at him.
Jia took Michael out and he couldn’t stop raving about it to Dana. She was out for her anger management therapy and complained about it to Adam. Adam said it was better for Michael to be with Jia because he had fun.
Amanda, Lucy’s former employee, went to visit her at Dragon builders. Her son, Gab was working there too. Amanda met Jia and called her Adam’s illegitimate daughter. Jia told her that Adam did not have illegitimate children because he always acknowledged them. Gab was there too and apologized to Jia for his mother’s comment.
Amanda and Gab went for a meal and to talk. Gab reprimanded Amanda for going to Dragon Builders but she said she wanted to tell Adam that they had a son. Gab was not happy because she was only after the money. Instead, he said that he wanted to work at Dragon Builders and prove his worth to Adam.
Dana refuted David’s annulment and said that she would never let him be free of her. David tried to ask that they talk about it when she was calm but Dana was very calm. She also said that she would not let him have Michael.
Jia spent too much time with Michael and Kai started to worry because Dana would not allow it. Adam also noticed how Jia yearned to be a mother and told her that it was not too late for her to start her own family.
Jia visited Michael at home to have breakfast with Michael. Lucy said she lost her appetite and left. After breakfast, Michael went to have fun by the pool and almost drowned. Jia jumped in to save in and Dana arrived as she was drying Michael. She almost attacked Jia but Michael said that Jia had saved him. Dana however told Jia to stay away from her son. She also insulted Jia by saying that she should have died when she had cancer. Jia slapped Dana and left.
Because of the incident, Jia was late for her meeting. She was also wet because she didn’t have time to change and Lucy made her look bad in front of the client and walked out. The client wanted to leave but Adam called to explain that Jia saved Michael from drowning, which is why she was late. The client decided to stay and listen to Jia’s presentation. He was impressed and gave a go ahead. Lucy found everyone celebrating and threw a fit because they did not call her.
Harry came home on leave but got drunk because he couldn’t stop thinking about giving Jia’s son away. He blacked out and started saying he was sorry to Jia and Kai. They both wondered what he was apologizing for.
