Isagani rush to check up on his parents, some neighbors including Isay and father comes to give them a helping hand to put off the fire, they lost hope after Connor set the main house on fire.
Bert wants to go into the house to save some belongings but Isagani and Irma stops him.
The Esperanza’s couldn’t help but cry their hearts out. Meanwhile Connor kept on setting some places on fire, he tell himself “i hope you have now learnt your lessons Isagani”
The police and fire service arrives.
In a different scene, Matteo goes to meet his grandparents retired family lawyer, he hand over the WILL he found earlier to the lawyer and asks him if it’s legit and if Medelein knows about the WILL.
The layers replies that it will be unprofessional to talk about someone’s WILL but since his grandparents were close friends he will tell him about it.
He further explains that, everything Matteo’s grandparents own can only be inherented by a true Assension ( Medelein’s family name). Matteo asks what about Silverio Empire which his dad owns half. The lawyer explains that there is no Silverio Empire, is only Assension properties and Medelein WILL half of the properties to Menandro but yet still Medelein’s parents WILL still works. Therefore only Matteo has the right over all the properties since he is the only true Heir. Matteo smiles broadly.
Connor is on his way out, Lupita asks where he is going, Connor says he is going to have fun ( referring to, watching Isagani’s suffering). Lupita asks him to tell her if he hates Isagani because he is getting in his way or he fears that Roman might love Isagani more than his own son (Connor).
He stares at her and leaves without saying a word.
It’s dinner time at the Silverio’s, Menandro asks Dulce if she has been able to convince Isagani to join them. Dulce replies “No”, Menandro further explains the benefits they will get if Isagani joins his company, Matteo laughs. Menandro asks if there is anything funny. Matteo says he is laughing because Menandro said the company is his meanwhile it is not.
Everyone looks on shocked, Menandro looks at Matteo with furious eyes.
Connor hides and watch Isagani picking up some few leftovers after they put down the fire, He laughs and says now that Isagani is busy with his burnt house, he can now deal with Roman without anyone interfering.
When Connor leaves, the police sees the bottle he used to set the fire, they asks Isagani if he has been using such bottles for his Brandy’s, Isagani say no. He added that this means someone is behind it and If his hunch is Right someone will pay.
Dulce and Medelein are gathering some stuffs at home to help the Esperanza’s, Menandro says it seem bad stuffs happens to anyone who associate themselves with the Cardinals.
Matteo says he wonder if it was just a fire or someone is behind it. Dulce says everyone loves the Esperanza’s so she don’t think anyone will think of doing that to them.
Matteo replies, “you know what Dulce, this world is about the survival of the fitters, is either you are the predator or the Prey. you have to be alert because sometimes is the people who are close to you that will harm you, so we have to be extra careful”
Menandro keeps looking at Matteo confused.
Irma and Bert are having breakfast at Isay’s house where they spent the night, Irma says she will rather sell on the streets than to see Isagani working so hard to cater for them. They both says they are lucky to have a like Isagani.
Lucas goes to meet Isagani to offer his support, Isagani tells him that he believes it was a plan work.
After asking around, They find one of the bottle Connor used. Isagani then promise to find the culprit and make him pay.
Menandro tells Matteo that they can strike the Cardinals after what happened to Isagani, then Silverio will reign, Matteo tells him to enjoy what he has now because he might not get such chance again. Menandro angrily looks at him.
Isagani still has his ring around his neck. (the ring Soledad left with him) he removes it and looks at it, Irma and Bert comes there. They tells him about the new place they are planing to rent, they show Isagani the bill and he Says he still has some savings left but they tell him they will pay him back. Isagani tells them to forget about it but they still insist.
Isagani comes to work and asks Roman for some days off In order to find the culprit. Roman offers one of his mansion for Isagani to stay with his parents but Isagani tells him they have found a place already. Roman further motivate him with his life story starting from Soledad till date.
Later, Lucas also motivates Isagani and he says he will now show the Culprit that he can rise again and emerge the winner in the end.
Later in the evening, Isagani assures his workers that he believes they can rise again if they work together as always. They agrees to work together and get back at their feet.
Next day, Isagani and parents moves to their new place, Sita and Lucas help them with the arrangements.
Isagani recalls the fake Paul issue and tells himself he is too close to find why Paul ( Connor) is lying to them.
Irma drops a plate in the kitchen and Isagani comes there they both ends up talking about their life story.
Matteo goes to meet the lawyer once again, Menandro spy on him, the lawyer hand over some legal documents to Matteo, he checks it and thanks the lawyer.
Isagani returns to work, Roman is happy to see him getting back quickly, he tells Isagani that he is impressed with the work Isagani and Paul did earlier.
Roman notice Isagani’s change of mood, he asks him if there is a problem. Isagani then narrates Paul and fake Paul issue to him.
Later that night, Roman, Lucas and Isagani comes to spy on Connor, they call him on phone and Isagani does the talking, asking him his location so he can pick him up because there is an emergency at the Distillery. Connor suggest to come on his own.
When Connor comes out of the house, They get out of the car and Isagani holds him by his Collar asking him to tell then why he used fake documents and identity to deceive them. After getting enough Connor tells them he is Connor and he is also a Cardinal, leaving everyone shocked.
At the Cardinal mansion, Pilar comes there and pretends to have seen Connor after many years, she shed some tears. Meanwhile Isagani and Lucas still have their doubts.
Roman then hugs Connor emotionally and he joyfully hugs him in return.
