In the previous episode we read about Jodha meeting Maham secretly, when Jalal found out he gets angry but later gave Jodha the chance to meet Maham, on her way to see Maham Ruks stops her, in this episode Maham sadly dies in Jalal’s Arms, Oops what about the curse, lets find out together in this episode.

We continue with Jodha going to meet Maham, Ruks stops her and ask where are you going, Jodha says I am going to meet maham, I will return soon, Ruks says never, she holds Jodha’s hand to stop her. She says you don’t care about your children but don’t forget that my child is with you too, Jodha says I know and I have given you my child on my own but that doesn’t mean you will order me, let me go, she jerks off ruks hand.
Ruks says this is not right, Jodha says its right and I will go to meet her, ruks holds her hand again and says I know you are stubborn but jalal has given me your responsibility so you have to take his permission first, jodha ask her to leave her hand, ruks leaves it, jodha leaves from there, ruks thinks how can jalal allow her to meet maham.
In a different scene, Sharif is spending time with his baby, Harem ladies sees him and thinks that if they throw shoes at him, they don’t know what he will do, Sharif angrily looks at them but controls his anger.
sharif says why are all you worried, you didn’t do anything wrong, you did what Jalal said but mistake was mine, I was wrong to treat Bakshi harshly but I am regretting and I have no grudges against you all, he leaves, all wives gossip that he is changed for good.
Remember in the previous update Jalal told someone to follow Sharif, Jalal’s spy is following sharif and thinks that wives may be right, sharif has changed.
Jodha comes to meet Maham, maham looks at her and ask why did you came here again, Jodha says please forgive me, Maham says you know what my mother used to say, those who ask for forgiveness don’t think from their minds but from their heart, you are not that clever to fool maham anga, you did a very cheap and low class thing to take revenge on me.
jodha says I didn’t do it for revenge, I just wanted to see you healthy and I still want to do something for you, maham tries to get up, Jodha helps her, maham sits on bed, Jodha sits too, maham says if you want to do something for me then bring my Adham back, I have two sons, one blood realted, one whom I loved more than my blood, I tried to love Adham but I gave jalal more love, both were my strength, when I used to look at them, I used to think that I can win whole world with them, I made one son a king but Adham wanted to be a king too, Adham’s thought were against jalal, he wanted the throne so I helped him, what did I do wrong? it maybe wrong for you but for a mother it wasn’t wrong, I helped my son but jalal didn’t understand it either, you want to help me.. I had two sons but I have no one now at time of my death, your husband jalal.. I know him from the time when he used to walk holding my hand, I taught him how to walk, he never used to say anything but only elder mother to me and I used to feel content when he used to call me mother, I used to know what jalal wants just by seeing his face, he used to call me Bari Ammi, Bari Ammi each day but when jalal said that I am not his bari ammi(elder mother) anymore, it was the worst day of my life, you want to do something for me?
Can you bring my son jalal, remember I said son jalal not king jalal, they both are different, my son is very innocent, your husband jalal who is a king is not my son, if you really want to do something then bring my son jalal here, you are a great rajvanshi, I have heard a lot about rajvanshies that once they promise, they stand by it till the end of their life, I have nothing to do with your life now, if you really want to do something then please bring my jalal here, tell him that before sending me away from here, can he call me bari ammi, ask him to call me bari ammi, I know no one can bring jalal here or adham here, I know.
Jodha thinks and is tensed seeing maham’s condition, maham lies on her bed and is weeps for jalal.
In a different scene, Jodha sees some things going out of palace, it is preparation for maham’s to send her to Delhi, jodha thinks what to do, maham has asked me something for the first time and I cant fulfill her wish as jalal has promised to not see maham’s face ever, he won’t listen to me, she recalls how jalal saying that his bari ammi loves him a lot, his bari ammi has his toys too from which he used to paly, jodha says mother’s heart is like this only that they don’t only protect their child but his things too. FLASHBACK ends, jodha gets some idea.
Jodha comes to Maham’s room with dasies and ask them to clean the room and throw away old things, jalal comes there and ask why you called me here, why are you cleaning this room, jodha says maham is not going to be here in agra so I thought to clean her room, jalal is stunned.
Jodha says she was pleading to bring you to her for the last time, Jalal says I don’t want to see her face, Jodha says exactly, she cursed your kids so how can you see her face, she has very old things and clothes in her room, she shows him some clothes and says its your childhood clothes, she has protected these things like it is gold, jalal ask is she really taking her last breaths? jodha says of course, leave it, you don’t care, she should leave this world soon, she calls herself your mother, how can a mother curse her grandchild, she says that she did a lot for you, it was her duty and what she had against you isn’t less either, you don’t worry as two or three days are remaining then dark beast will go from our lives forever, maham was saying that she wants to die by seeing your face, why? she did a lot against you and now want to see your face, she is a mad women.
Jalal feels the words against maham and controls his emotions.
Jodha ask Jalal what happened, did any dust particle went to your eyes? she ask him to let her see his eyes, jodha says these are tears but why? they come out when you have some relation from heart, these are not tears but your emotions that are coming out from your heart but for whom? the one who tried to kill you, the one who thought bad for you, the one who cursed your heirs, wipe your tears before anyone sees it, you are not infant Jalal who crave for Maham, are you feeling bad for her? you know why are you feeling all this because she is your mother not any Dasi ( Maid), take off this anger mask, you are still craving for maham then why this fake anger? let the emotions of a son come out, I accept that maham did wrong by cursing your heirs but she was not mentally stable that time, she cant curse her son jalal, a king should not think about betrayals but a son can cry for his mother, if you ever thought of her as a mother then go and meet her, not as king jalal but as son jalal who loves his mother a lot, who should be with his mother in her last breaths but if you don’t think so then don’t cry too.
She ask Moti to throw Maham things away from this room, Jalal leaves sadly. Jodha sadly looks on.
Maham is leaving Agra palace under maan singh supervision, Javeda and Resham are going to see her off.
Jalal in his room recalls Jodha’s words that if he think of maham as his mother then go and meet her, he recalls his childhood when maham used to play with her, he recalls how jodha said that meet maham not as a king but as her son, jalal recalls his childhood mischiefs, he hides maham’s things, maham runs behind him and catches him.
Maham ask Jalal where he hide her things, Jalal says that I wont give it to you, Maham says give it to me, I will show it to you when you grow up to show you how much naughty you were in childhood.
Kid Jalal hides behind the throne, maham brings him out and ask him to sit on the throne, not hide behind it, I want to you to see you as a great king jalal, you will be history’s best king, jalal says but kings have big moustaches, maham laughs and says you will also get it then all will call you king with moustache, she hugs Jalal.
the imagination of jalal vanishes, Jalal is tensed.
In a different scene, Maham is leaving the palace, Harem ladies comes to see her off, Maham greets Hamida.
(guys if you can’t hold your tears 😭 just pause here, because the following scenes are very emotional)
Maham is lying on plank which Daisies are taking out from palace, Resham stops them, maham sees garden area and recalls how she had seen adham’s deadbody there and points to that area, resham ask maan singh to take maham to garden area, maan agrees, maham’s plank is put on same place where adham was lying dead, she touches the place and cries for adham, resham hugs her, maham says I want to go to my son, I cant even say bye to my son jalal, I am very unlucky. 
Maham recalls how Jalal said that I lost my mother and I don’t know if you are regretting for losing your son or not, he says you will remain chief minister but you wont have your son with you now, FLASHBACK ends.
Maham cries, Hamida comes there, maham ask where is begum jodha? please call her here, hamida agrees and ask dasi to inform jodha, maham wants to meet her.
Jodha is praying to kahna ji in her room and says what kind of situation is this that I can’t fulfill wish of person who is dying, dasi comes and says maham wants to meet you, moti says should I say no to her? jodha says no I have to meet maham, she goes to meet her.
Jodha comes in garden area to meet maham, maham is taking her last breaths, jodha comes to her and says maham your wish, I could not……..Maham says Jalal, Jodha says I am saying that shehehenshah… maham points something behind jodha, all turns to see jalal standing there.
Maham says jalal, my son, jalal takes off his turban and starts coming to maham, maham imagines kid jalal coming to her, she is craving for jalal to come to her fast, jalal comes, maham hugs him tightly and cries, she says my son jalal, jalal cries too and says bari ammi(elder mother), maham says my son has come, he called me bari ammi. 
Jalal calls her mother again and says you are my bari ammi only, maham smiles and says thank God my son has come back, she ask jalal what had happened to you, you could have killed me but why you stopped calling me bari ammi, why you gave me punishment like that, jalal says you were given punishment by king jalal but now your son jalal has come to meet you, how are you, maham says to be honest, I don’t want to live, she hugs jalal and looks at Jodha.
She says begum jodha use to come to make me eat food, I want to say something in front of you all, she says to Jodha that I never accepted you, I agree that I hated you all the time but today you gave me my son jalal, you gave me biggest happiness of my life which no one could give to me but I am mahamanga, I also don’t take debts so I also will fulfill your wish and will pay your debt, I cursed you and jalal and today in front of all, I take my curse back, Jodha cries in happiness, all smile, from today I pray that Mughal get heir of jalal and you give heir to Mughal saltanat, jodha will become mother of jalal’s heir only, she has Jalal’s children in her womb and she will give birth to my grandchildren and she has the right to become marium zamani, jalal kisses maham’s forehead.
Maham sees some lady and recalls she is a hindu dasi and said to maham once that she will someday salute Rajvanshi, she calls that dasi forward and says you said and today in front of all, I bow down to rajavnshi and salute her, she salutes jodha, maham says to jalal that I don’t want anything, I couldn’t sleep for someday, I want to sleep peacefully now, can you please put your hand on my head and sings lullaby for me which I used to sing for you in childhood. 
Jalal puts his hand and recalls his childhood how maham used to sing lullaby for him, he hugs maham and starts singing lullaby with heavy heart and choke voice, maham sings with him and suddenly loses her breath, she dies. 
Jalal shouts bari ammi and cries, all cries for her, jalal hugs maham tightly and cries profusely. Episode ends.
