In the previous episodes, Jalal stops Jodha from meeting Salim once again, after some thug attacks Salim one thug seeks shelter at Rashid’s house. The thug was caught and Jalal is about to decide Rashid’s fate. In this episode, Shaguni Bai predict Salim’s future, later Salim finally returns to the palace as Qadir recovers. Jalal says my decision is that Rashid is not a betrayer, all are shocked, Jalal says if they were betrayers then they wouldn’t have saved Salim, they would have proved their loyalty to parog’s king, the one who save life cannot take life of anyone, all they did was giving shelter to their friend and serving him, Rashid says Jalal you proved that mughal’s justice is above all, I will never forget this, Jalal says I have forgiven Rashid but I will not forgive king of Parog, I will teach him such a lesson that no one will try to do this again.
Jalal is in his room, Ruks comes there, Jalal ask her to tie Saafa (a king’s scarf) on his head, she ties, Ruks says that Yaqub took shelter in Rashid’s house and you forgave him, even unintentional, Rashid gave shelter to a betrayer, you cannot forgive anyone like this, Jalal says enough, don’t tell me how to run the state, for me justice is to forgive innocent.
Ruks says I know you can run state by your own but I am your friend and by this decision wrong deeps will be protected, helper of betrayer is a betrayer, maybe he is involved in the plan, remember enemies had even entered the palace so its my duty to give you suggestion even if you get angry on me, Jalal says by my experience I have learnt to see person’s nature, if your suggestion is finished then I shall leave, he leaves.
Rashid comes in his colony but no one is talking to him, people taunt him that he gave shelter to a betrayer, maybe he is a betrayer too, Jalal is kind so he forgave him but he is such a big betrayer, we used to go to his place but couldn’t understand him, Zil bahar is there too, Rashid says to zil that I will answer them that I am not betrayer, zil says forget it, they will not understand, Jalal says you are innocent so their thoughts doesn’t matter, come inside, they go in their house.
Ruks along with Resham comes to village to meet Salim, Rahim stops her and says Jalal can come at any time and he will not like seeing you here, Ruks says what will he do? will he punish me? I will bear but he cant stop me from meeting my son, I am his mother and I will meet him, she goes to Fatima bi’s house, she knocks, Salim takes axe in his hand and opens the door, Ruks says its me why are you holding axe, she ask Fatima to go out, she goes out, Ruks kisses Salim and says thank God you are safe, I was so worried that you were attacked by enemies, Salim ask when? Ruks says some betrayers tried to attack you but soldiers killed them, it happens with heirs but what Jodha did, I was shocked seeing it, Salim ask what did she do? Ruks says mother can give life for her child but your mother is unique, she made Jalal forgive Rashid who gave shelter to betrayer, Jodha took Rashid’s side and you know Jalal follows everything Jodha says, jodha only find faults in you, Salim says ammi jan took side of that irritating girl’s father, why, Ruks says I fought with Jalal for you, I love you like my own child, that’s why I have come here even with fact that jalal can punish me, if your mother loves you then she would have come here, Salim thinks that Jodha never came to meet me and Ruks is ready to bear wrath of Jalal for me.
Ruks says I have brought laddos for you, she makes Salim eat intoxicated laddos, Ruks thinks that I have Salim on my side, soon you will be away from Jodha and will be on my side only.
Ruks comes in court, Jalal ask her did you go to meet Salim? Ruks says yes, Jalal says did you take Marium zamani’s permission? Jodha is mother of Salim, she struck with Salim in market but she didn’t meet him and even then she asked forgives from me, then she took permission from Marium zamani (Hamida) to meet Salim but even then she didn’t meet Salim because she respect my order and you always break rules, when you first met Salim, I knew it but ignored it, but you went again, you have no respect for rules, he tells todar that till Salim is not in palace, Ruks cant go out of palace and if she do so then all solders will be punished. Ruks ask him to listen, Jalal leaves.
Jalal is in garden, Mehtab comes and holds his hand, Jalal smiles and kisses on her forehead, Jalal in sing language says that by seeing your face my tension goes away, Mehtab says by Salim too your tension vanishes, she ask to bring Salim back, I am missing him, Jalal says I miss Salim too, I pray that God makes Salim come back to my house, Jalal brings a rose and gives it to Mehtab and smiles. Jodha comes there, Mehtab kisses her cheek and gives rose to Jodha and leaves from there, Jalal smiles, Jodha comes to Jalal and ask whats all this? jalal says I think Mehtab likes you a lot, she always makes me smile.
In a different scene, Ruks tells herself that Salim will return Jalal but not as you and Jodha’s son but Ruks son, you shouted on me today in front of all just cause I don’t have powers of marium zmani but I will do this again and again, I will go to any level to get Salim on my side.
Jodha ask Jalal was it right to punish Ruks like that? Jalal says don’t take her side now, she deserve punishment, we all care for Salim but nobody should break rules, he ask where are you going? Jodha says that the way you go every night to protect Salim, same way for Qadir and Salim, I will go to Mandir everyday and I want to do havan for them if you agree, Jalal says I pray to God and Krishna bhagwan that your prayers get fulfilled, Jodha says ameen, She leaves, Jalal says jodha is trying, I hope Salim return soon.
Voice-over, says Qadir’s health was worsening day by day, there was question mark on Salim’s return and jodha went to mandir.
Jodha is praying in mandir, otherside Doctor checks Qadir and says that its impossible to save him now.
Ruku enjoying Hukka, Resham informs her about how Rashid was disgraced and insulted by every one for being a betrayer. Resham suggests her to take advantage. Ruks replies that if things were happening on their own she need not do a thing. This was all in her and salim’s favour.
Rashid is being insulted by the people at the market for sheltering the traitor of the sultanat,
They refuse to forgive him even as Rashid pleads that Shehenshah had forgiven him. They pelt stones at him and injure Rashid.
Jodha is passing by in paalki stops on noticing the commotion, She discovers the people are hurting rashid and mistreating Rashid for being a traitor. Jodha rescues rashid. Salim is happy to see her, He feels she might have come to meet him but is surprised that she saved the man who attempted on his life. He is sad that Jodha is on the side of his enemies unlike Ruks who loved him so much, Unaware of salim’s presence Jodha then explains to the people that rashid was innocent and they ought to follow shehenshah’s orders.
As the queen she orders the people to respect shehenshah’s orders and orders soldiers to be kind to him and escort him to his hut. Rashid thanks Jodha but she replies that As the queen she had duty to rescue the innocent ones.
At his hut, Rashid discusses with shocked Zilbahar that it is better to leave the sultanat instead of being insulted daily.
At the public well Nadira is going to fetch water, She is insulted and teased by other children for being daughter of a betrayer, . Salim comes there and he is happy to see Nadira in this state. She was too proud and deserved this Nadira replies that her father had unknowingly sheltered the Thug. Salim replies that even he had hit kadir unknowingly but he was punished so she and her father deserved punishment.
At Fatima bi’s hut Jodha is waiting for salim and Fatima bi is worried about Qadir . Jodha assures that Qadir was in the hands. Fatima is worried that the longer Qadir takes to recover the longer Salim would have to face hardships in her hut. Salim is very hard working and he did his best to make her comfortable. Fatima is sorry that because of Qadir Jodha had to stay away from her palace. Jodha then gives tabeez for Qadir and Salim. She asks Fatima to tie the tabeez (some thread) she prays for Qadir’s recovery and blessings for both children.
Back at the palace, Jodha comes to check on Qadir. Hakims (doctors) inform there was not much important. Jodha requests shaguni bai to predict the future of Qadir As salim’s future is connected to Qadir’s recovery. Shaguni bai takes out her couriers, Scatters them on the surface of a table. She predicts that Qadir’s life is a very long one (meaning he won’t die) but salim would become shehenshah and will never ever forget these days. Jodha then asks for detailed future analysis. Shaguni bai then tells that she is getting strange feelings, She gives a piece of paper to Jodha and tells her never to open the paper As long as (she) Shaguni Bai is alive. Jodha gets impatient and wants to know if salim is going to be safe. Salim will have two lives . Salim will have to die before Jodha’s life ends.
Jodha is distraught and shocked to hear this. She scolds shaguni bai and shouts at her, she Orders her to leave the place . Shaguni then tells jodha to have the guts to hear the future, Salim will die and he will be reborn, His feelings will die his heart will break, His love will die, And salim will be reborn as shehenshah ( Emperor) and he will have second love in his life, Just as Jalal died and Akbar was born similarly salim will be reborn, His first love has already entered his life. Shaguni laugh And leaves.

Elsewhere in the sultanat, a caravan is proceeding with women, children and soldiers it is Riyaz beg and his pregnant wife Asmat, They decide to camp as it was getting dark Unfortunately at night they are attacked by dacoits. The family runs and hides to save their lives leaving behind their belongings, Asmat the wife is Riyaz beg is heavily pregnant with her fourth child They are lucky to be helped by mallik masood and his craven Who happened to pass by, Asmat gives birth and riyaz names the girl Meherunnisa. They wonder that dacoits her looted everything . They would not be able to bring up 4 children they already had 3 sons to take care of. Heart rending scene as riyaz takes meherunnisa from the arms of weeping Asmat and throws ththe baby away.
As mallik’s caravan was proceeding he stops for namaaz, Next moment he hears wailing of a baby. He finds an abandoned baby. He recognises Riyaz beg, Mallik scolds riyaz for abandoning his child this was a sin Mallik. Assures him that he is going to Akbar’s court he would get some employment for him Asmat is very happy to get her child back, Riyaz then assures his wife that he would never abandon his daughter again.
At Agra, rashid and zilbahar have packed their house hold belongings and are leaving Agra. As they leave on bullock cart . Salim sees Nadira leaving.
Elsewhere jodha is praying to maa kaali for speedy recovery for Qadir. Pandit ji performs havan, Maunvies offer prayers for Qadir And bless him at his bed side.
Sad music plays as Jodha prays tearfully, after the song Qadir miraculously shows sigh of recovery.
The doctor declares Qadir is recovering
Qadir mutters Grandma Hesitantly, Hakim happily make him drink medicine.
In his room jalal is having serious discussions with Todarmal on how to control the rioting states, He confirms jodha’s security arrangements. The doctor then shares the good news about Qadir’s recovery, Jalal is thrilled that this means salim will return soon.
Jalal orders to fill the doctor’s house with gold and silver.
Qadir wishes to meet his Grandma. Jalal orders that arrangements should be made to send Qadir back to his home and bring salim back. Ruks comes to Jalal and seeks permission to accompany Todarmal for escorting salim back as jodha is away for havan and puja for salim. Ruks convinces jalal and he grants her permission to get salim back. Ruks then Tells herself that this is the right time to poison salim’s heart against jodha.
Salim is undergoing his punishment. He faces life bravely, They are surprised to be visited by Ruks and her royal entourage and Todarmal. Ruks announces the return of Qadir after his recovery from illness. Qadir hugs his Grandma happily.
Ruks then hugs salim and announces that his punishment is over and he could return to palace, Salim asks about Jalal and Jodha, Ruks poisons salim’s mind by saying they had more important work to do rather than get him back to palace, Salim is saddened but is excited about returning to palace. Salim bids emotional farewell to Fatima bi and Promises to meet her often in future, Ruks then happily tells salim that he is returning as the heir of Mughal sultanat So he has to be appropriately attired in his royal robes.
