Ayushman tells Jhanak about the medical camps they organise and reveals that one of them could be held in Simulboni. Jhanak is happy to hear this and says she would love to help the people of Simulboni once she becomes a doctor like him. Ayushman asks her to speak to the villagers about the camp, and she agrees. He then invites her to join him at a medical camp, leaving her excited. Jhanak offers to go ahead of him to make the necessary arrangements.
Ayushman asks Jhanak if everything is fine at home. She apologises to him on Rishi’s behalf, explaining that Rishi is not a bad person but gets angry easily and struggles to express his feelings to strangers. Ayushman laughs and tells her that he is glad she loves Rishi, but reminds her that love and respect go hand in hand. He questions whether Rishi would have reacted that way if he truly loved and respected her.
Jhanak explains that Rishi realised his mistake and apologised to her. She acknowledges that Rishi misbehaved with Ayushman and asks him not to take it personally. Ayushman replies that Rishi is a stranger to him, so his behaviour does not matter much. However, Rishi knows Jhanak and should have trusted her. He insists that love means little without respect. Jhanak says she understands his point and agrees to speak to Rishi about it. Ayushman also reminds her that although her father and husband are wealthy, she needs to build an identity of her own. Jhanak agrees with him before leaving.
Later, Rishi informs his family that Jhanak has been invited to attend a function at his office. However, Jhanak reveals that she is considering going to Simulboni for a few days. Indumati asks if the trip is necessary, while Rishi points out that he will not be able to take leave. Jhanak explains that Parashar is unwell, so she wants to visit him.
The family then discusses Payal’s situation. Payal asks them not to change their plans because of her, insisting that she will not give Surojit another chance even if he returns. Abhimanyu explains that he has given Surojit seven days to respond, after which they will decide what to do. Payal says she does not want to discuss the matter any further. Indumati remarks that Surojit should have understood that his family would not forgive his mistakes, especially after betraying them all.
Rishi asks Jhanak to confirm whether she will accompany him to the function. Indumati encourages him to take her along, while Sanjhbati asks Jhanak if she will leave for Simulboni the day after tomorrow. Jhanak nods and says she will return within two or three days. However, she decides not to tell Rishi about the medical camp because she fears he will become angry and wants to protect her career. Rishi then leaves.
Indumati remarks that although they could not do anything about Rishi’s situation, they understand what is happening now. Jhanak responds that she was also a pawn in the situation. Indumati tells her that nobody has blamed her, but Jhanak understands what she means. She acknowledges that the family had no problem with Aditi and that everything changed after she arrived. However, Jhanak insists that the situation was beyond her control.
The following day, Jhanak gets ready for the office function. Abhimanyu tells Rishi to take care of himself, while Sanjhbati asks him what will happen at the event. Rishi explains that they will dance and enjoy themselves. Meanwhile, Jhanak tells Payal that she has prepared lentils and asks her to eat properly while she is away. She assures Payal that she will return soon. Payal says she knows Jhanak is going to a party and will manage everything at home. Rishi then tells Jhanak that they are getting late, and they leave for the function.
At the event, the host invites the guests to come onto the stage one by one and showcase their talents. Krishnendu asks Rishi why he has not introduced him to Jhanak, so Rishi introduces them. Krishnendu tells Jhanak that she must know him, and she asks what he is doing there. He reveals that he has finally secured a job in the police department.
The host notices Rishi and Jhanak and invites Jhanak to perform a dance. Jhanak initially refuses, but Krishnendu encourages her, saying he knows she dances well. Rishi also asks her not to be shy. After taking a sip, Jhanak complains that the drink tastes bitter. Krishnendu tells her it is a mocktail containing mint and claims that its taste will improve. Jhanak decides to drink it because he brought it for her. Meanwhile, Krishnendu thinks about how Rishi insulted him and decides that this is the perfect opportunity to take revenge.
Jhanak continues drinking but soon begins to feel dizzy. She asks Krishnendu where Rishi is, and he tells her that Rishi is talking to his friends. He adds that he will keep her company. Jhanak realises that she has consumed alcohol, but Krishnendu suggests that they dance instead. She agrees and dances with him before approaching Rishi and asking him to dance with her.
Rishi pushes Jhanak away, causing her to fall against Krishnendu. She then asks Krishnendu to dance with her. Rishi tells her to behave herself and insists that they leave. However, Jhanak refuses to go with him. Rishi grabs her and drags her away from the function, while Krishnendu thinks with satisfaction that he has finally taken his revenge.
The following day, Jhanak prepares to leave for Simulboni. Dadabhai remarks that the family will finally have some peace now that she is leaving. Rishi tells Jhanak to return within two days, while Indumati reminds her not to forget her lunch box. They discuss Surojit’s situation, and Jhanak says she has many questions she wants to ask him. Abhimanyu points out that she is getting late and tells her to leave. Rishi offers to take her to the bus stand, and Indumati asks him to drive carefully before they leave together.
After Jhanak leaves, Dadabhai admits that he already misses her, and the others agree. Abhimanyu says the house feels empty without her, while Dritimaan reminds everyone that she will return in two days.
Later, Rishi meets Aditi at a restaurant and asks why she called him. Aditi asks when Jhanak will return from Simulboni. Rishi is surprised that she knows Jhanak has gone there, so Aditi explains that her friend has also travelled to Simulboni for a medical camp. Rishi immediately realises that Jhanak hid the medical camp from him. Upset by her decision, he decides to go to Simulboni himself and leaves the restaurant.
