Aditi tells Rishi that she cares about him and would not feel good if he were betrayed. Rishi asks if she is suggesting that Jhanak is betraying him, but Aditi clarifies that she never said that. She explains that she only noticed how protective Ayushman had become towards Jhanak. Aniruddh points out that Ayushman reacted like a senior doctor. Rishi says he has to leave, adding that everyone has their own opinions and they cannot force anyone to do anything. He asks Aniruddh to take care of himself before leaving. Aniruddh tells Rishi not to misunderstand Jhanak, while Bablu reminds him that Jhanak saved his life.

Arshi says that nobody understands Aditi and that she only warned Rishi because she cares about him. Aditi promises Rishi that she will not discuss Jhanak with him again. Rishi then leaves.
Meanwhile, Abhimanyu asks Jhanak how Aniruddh is doing. Indumati warns Jhanak not to hurt Rishi through her actions. She reminds her that earlier that morning, Jhanak dragged out the conversation when Rishi asked where she was going. Jhanak explains that she only went to Aniruddh’s house, but Abhimanyu tells her to stop arguing and listen to Indumati. Tanushri adds that the issue is about showing respect and giving importance to one’s partner. She points out that she has never left the house without informing Abhimanyu. When Abhimanyu mentions that it is raining, Tanushri asks Jhanak to call Rishi. Jhanak tells Tanushri to call him instead, but Tanushri feels that Jhanak has failed to understand what they are trying to tell her.
Rishi arrives at the house completely drenched. Tanushri asks Jhanak to bring him a towel, but Rishi tells his mother that it is unnecessary. He begins sneezing, and Jhanak brings him a towel anyway. Rishi questions why she brought it when he never asked for one. Tanushri notices that something is wrong and realises that Rishi has a fever. He then goes inside.
Later, Jhanak tries to treat Rishi, but he stops her and insists that she does not need to do anything for him. Jhanak asks why he is angry with her when she has done nothing wrong. Rishi sarcastically replies that he is the one who has done everything wrong. Jhanak asks him to take his medicine first, but he refuses.
Jhanak then tells Rishi that she will return to Simulboni the following day. Rishi reminds her that arguments are common between couples and that a disagreement does not mean she should leave him. He explains that he missed her and went to pick her up, only to see her with Ayushman on the way. Rishi then apologises to her.
The following day, Abhimanyu asks Dritimaan about Surojit. Dritimaan says that Surojit has not answered his calls. Tanushri suspects that something is wrong and believes Payal is hiding the truth from them. Payal tells them to ask Surojit directly, but Sanjhbati points out that Payal is right there, which is why they are questioning her. Indumati asks Payal to reveal whether Surojit has done something wrong. Tanushri also questions why Payal is refusing to open up this time. Payal asks how they expect to solve her problem, and Jhanak encourages her to calm down.
Payal then reveals that Jhanak has read the letter and knows everything. She orders Jhanak to bring it, but Jhanak refuses, saying she promised not to reveal its contents. Payal insists that everyone must know the truth and goes inside to get the letter herself. Tanushri questions why Jhanak did not tell them anything, while Rishi arrives and asks what has happened. Tanushri tells him that something is clearly wrong.
Payal returns with the letter and reads it aloud in front of everyone, leaving them shocked. As she cries, Indumati refuses to believe what she has heard and suggests that they speak to Surojit. Payal declares that she will not accept Surojit even if he returns because her self-respect matters more to her. She insists that she cannot continue living in that house. Indumati tells her that she cannot leave, but Payal questions what right she has to remain there. Sanjhbati assures Payal that they will end their relationship with Surojit, not with her.
Payal questions why she had to suffer such betrayal and says she knows Surojit will never return. Indumati declares that she will never forgive him and asks Abhimanyu to call him. She admits that she never imagined Surojit would do something like this. Abhimanyu tells Payal not to blame herself for anything and assures her that she will continue living in the house with dignity and all her rights. He adds that Surojit has lost his right to stay there.
Tanushri insists that Surojit must come and answer their questions. However, Payal asks them not to involve her in the matter because she cannot bring herself to ask Surojit why he abandoned her. Rishi offers to speak to Surojit to clear up any misunderstanding, but Payal tells them not to defend him. She reminds everyone that Surojit is not a child and that he did not simply fall into someone else’s trap.
Indumati assures Payal that she does not depend on Surojit and that the family will stand by her. Dritimaan encourages Payal to focus on her work if she wishes to do so. Jhanak also reminds Payal that the house belongs to her. Payal apologises to Jhanak for yelling at her earlier, and Jhanak hugs her.
Meanwhile, Abhimanyu calls Surojit and demands to know why he wrote such a letter. He scolds him for betraying Payal and warns that he and Dadabhai will not accept him if the contents of the letter are true. Surojit admits that he has committed a sin but says he cannot escape the situation he has created.
Jhanak questions how Surojit could do this, especially when he is one of the elders in the family. She tells him to take responsibility for his actions. Dritimaan advises Surojit to resolve any differences he has with Payal, but Surojit insists that he is a bad person and wants to live with Hemlata. He adds that he intends to marry Hemlata if he gets divorced from Payal. Payal immediately declares that she is ready to divorce him.
Surojit tells Payal to forget him and move on with her life. Abhimanyu orders him never to return to the house. Surojit acknowledges that he has lost the right to visit them, while Indumati declares that they will forget him. Sanjhbati tells Surojit that he is making the wrong decision and asks him to think about his children.
Payal insists that she will never beg Surojit to accept her. Surojit asks the family to take care of Payal, admitting that although he betrayed her, he still loves her. Payal warns him not to say such things, and Abhimanyu ends the call.
Rishi struggles to understand how Surojit could betray Payal in this way. Jhanak responds that anyone can do anything at any time and that people cannot always be trusted.
Abhimanyu reassures Payal that she will never have to leave the house. Sanjhbati adds that the family will fall apart if Payal leaves. However, Payal asks them to understand that she cannot continue living in Surojit’s house. Abhimanyu reminds her that the house is hers too and promises that Surojit will be punished for his actions.
