Jhanak tells Rishi that she wants to go to Simulboni. Rishi asks when she made the decision, but Jhanak clarifies that it is not because of their discussion the previous day. She reminds him that they are husband and wife, which is why she is informing him. When Rishi asks when she plans to go, Jhanak says she has not decided yet. Rishi says he enjoys spending time with the people of Simulboni, but Jhanak taunts him. Rishi explains that he only felt bad for Aditi and reminds Jhanak that they had decided to go everywhere together. Jhanak says the people of Simulboni will celebrate and he may not be comfortable with the way they celebrate.
Rishi says he never expected Jhanak to speak to him this way and thought she would understand his situation. Jhanak questions why she should understand him when he never understood her. She picks up her bag and tells Rishi that she will not celebrate anything with him from now on before leaving. Rishi realizes that Jhanak has changed and thinks he is responsible for it. He then goes downstairs.
Dadabhai asks Rishi to check how Putul is doing. Rishi says he is going to the office. Tanushri mentions that she saw Jhanak and Rishi going to Putul’s house. Jhanak arrives, and Dadabhai asks if she is going to Putul’s house. Jhanak says she is not. Rishi asks where she is going, and Jhanak says she is going to Aniruddh’s house because he is unwell.
Rishi tells Jhanak that she does not need to go there, but she refuses to listen. He asks her not to complicate things, but Jhanak says she does not have to listen to him all the time because she has her own wishes. She asks what is wrong with her going to meet her father. Jhanak acknowledges that a lot has happened in Aniruddh’s house but assures them that she will return safely. She then leaves.
Later, Jhanak greets Anjana and Bablu before meeting Aniruddh. She asks him to sit and enquires about his health. She tells him that she brought fruits and chocolates, which she bought with the money she earned from college. Aniruddh says that her coming to see him is enough for him. Arshi asks Aniruddh to eat before leaving. Jhanak asks about Aditi, and Aniruddh says she is in her room. Jhanak then asks to see the prescription.
Aditi comes there and praises the doctor for being talented. Jhanak explains that she is also a doctor and only wants to check the prescription. Aditi says there is no need. Dr. Anshuman arrives, and Aditi welcomes him. He asks what Jhanak is doing there, and Aditi asks if he knows her. Anshuman says Jhanak is an intern at his hospital.

Aniruddh accepts that it was his mistake but says he is happy to know that Jhanak is a really good doctor.
Aditi points out that Aniruddh never said she was a good professor. He tells her that she knows he is proud of her. Anshuman then asks Jhanak to check Aniruddh’s blood pressure. Aditi asks why Jhanak should do it when Anshuman is present. Anshuman explains that his junior is there, so anyone can check it. Jhanak checks Aniruddh’s blood pressure, and Anshuman says they should wait for a week.
Aniruddh says he is already feeling better, but Jhanak tells him not to decide that himself and says the doctor will make that decision. Aditi insists that they trust the doctor, not the intern. Jhanak says Aditi is not insulting her by repeatedly calling her an intern and points out that Aditi would have also been a teacher before becoming a professor. Aditi says she is not there to listen to Jhanak’s lecture and that her focus is on Aniruddh.
Anshuman says he will leave, and Jhanak says she will leave too. Bablu asks her to eat something before leaving. Aditi then suggests that Anshuman give Jhanak a lift. Jhanak says she will take an auto because she is going home. Anshuman offers to drop her, while Aniruddh also asks Jhanak to go in his car. She refuses and says she is used to travelling by auto. She leaves, followed by Anshuman.
Ayushman tells Jhanak that she is his junior, so he can drop her. Jhanak again says she is used to travelling by auto and will be fine. Rishi arrives and asks Jhanak what she is doing there. She tells him that she is coming from Aniruddh’s house. Rishi then asks Ayushman what he is doing there.
Ayushman explains that he is Aniruddh’s doctor and came to examine him, but says Rishi is treating him like a criminal. Jhanak asks Ayushman to leave, but he tells Rishi that he has no right to speak to him that way. Rishi asks what he did wrong and then tells Jhanak that it looks like she is roaming around with Ayushman.
Jhanak asks Rishi how low he plans to stoop. Rishi says he knows people like Ayushman. Ayushman tells him to shut up and says he cannot believe that Rishi is Jhanak’s husband. Rishi asks if Ayushman wants to take his place. Ayushman says he will not tolerate Rishi’s nonsense and threatens to file a complaint against him. Rishi sarcastically tells him to go ahead and file the complaint.
Jhanak tells Rishi to go and meet Aniruddh and Aditi. Rishi admits that he came to meet Aditi’s father. Ayushman then remembers reading about them in the news and calls Rishi a stone-hearted person. Jhanak says she is going home. Ayushman offers to drop her, saying that if she goes alone, it may look like Rishi was right.
Jhanak tells Rishi that she is independent and does not depend on anyone. She says she can live on her own if the situation ever demands it and questions who gave him the right to insult her. Rishi says she will not get sympathy. Jhanak then tells Ayushman that she will go with him.
Rishi objects and says Jhanak cannot go with Ayushman. Jhanak firmly tells him that she is not his property and asks who gave him the right to stop her when she has done nothing wrong. She then leaves with Ayushman. Rishi is left thinking that Jhanak should not have done this.
Later, Rishi meets Aniruddh. Aniruddh says Rishi could have come with Jhanak, while Rishi asks about his health. Arshi says she is worried about Aniruddh, but Bablu assures them that he is getting better. He adds that the doctor said Aniruddh can return to the office soon.
Aditi questions why Jhanak did not wait for Rishi if she knew he was coming. She says Jhanak also left when Ayushman said he was leaving. Aniruddh says it was only a coincidence. Bablu and Anjana praise Jhanak, but Arshi says Jhanak behaved as though she knew everything, and even Ayushman seemed impressed by her.
Aditi says Jhanak should have waited for Rishi and adds that because Jhanak is from a village, city men could take advantage of her. Rishi defends Jhanak and says she is not like that. Aniruddh points out that Ayushman is like Jhanak’s boss, so there is nothing wrong with him giving her a lift.
Meanwhile, Athnu calls Mishti. She answers and says she does not want to speak to him. Athnu tells her that he only has three minutes to talk and explains that he has become the prime witness in the case. He asks her to meet him in court, but Mishti says she cannot meet him.
Jhanak hears the conversation and takes the phone from Mishti. She speaks to Athnu, who asks Jhanak to help him meet Mishti. Jhanak tells him that Mishti should focus on her career at this time. Athnu’s time runs out, and the call ends.
