Jhanak On Starlife Thursday 16th April 2026 Update, Jhanak says she wants to thank one more person, and that is Rishi. She reveals how Rishi helped and supported her in Kolkata. She thanks him sincerely. Then she says she knows Nutan is not with her anymore, but she is sure Nutan is watching her from the sky. Jhanak gives all the credit to Nutan and says she achieved everything because of her.

She then asks everyone to pray for her so she can become a doctor, because she wants to serve people in Simulboni. Parashar smiles hearing this. Everyone claps for her. Jhanak thanks the audience again and gets down from the stage.
At the same time, Aditi and Neelu reach the event venue, but they find out there is no event like Rishi had mentioned. Aditi tries to call Rishi, but he does not answer. She assumes he must be busy in a meeting. Neelu suggests they go to the cafeteria, but Aditi refuses and says they should go home. She quietly hopes that Rishi has not lied to her again.
Elsewhere, a girl named Saanjh is in her room, playing the veena and singing. A man enters the house and listens to her voice. He asks Saanjh’s mother why Saanjh did not go to work. The mother says she does not know and mentions that Ridhiman left, so they cannot do anything now. The man says they don’t even know whether Ridhiman is alive or not, and he regrets trusting him.
Saanjh comes downstairs and asks the man to stay with her instead of living in Kolkata. The man says he has to stay there for his students. He reminds them that he asked them to shift to Kolkata earlier, but they did not listen. Saanjh replies that she does not want to stay in Kolkata anymore because she had dreams of settling there after marriage.
The man asks if she is still in contact with Ridhiman’s family. Saanjh says she never calls them, but she does answer when they call her. Her mother then mentions that Rishi got married, and she also heard a strange rumor about it. Saanjh says Dadabhai invited her to Rishi’s wedding, but she did not attend. The man says Ridhiman’s family are good people, but Saanjh asks him to drop the topic.
He advises her to move on, saying she cannot live alone forever. Saanjh replies that she cannot marry someone just like that. Her mother says she may regret this decision in the future.
Saanjh shares that Putul calls her sometimes, but she never asked about Ridhiman. She only knows that Ridhiman does not contact his family either, and she feels bad for his parents. The man says he believes Ridhiman will return one day. Saanjh says if that happens, it will be good for his parents, but there is also a chance that he got married and settled abroad.
She says she only wants Ridhiman to return to India for his family. Her mother calls Ridhiman a fool. Saanjh asks her not to stay angry with him. The mother reminds them that Ridhiman promised to marry Saanjh but left for abroad, and still she cannot even express her anger properly.
Saanjh tells them not to worry about her. She asks them to stay together and not think about society. She says she has never seen her real father, and she considers this man as her father. She asks them to stay happy together. The man then simply asks for tea.
Meanwhile, in Simulboni, Parashar tells Rishi that he wants to talk to him. Jhanak immediately asks Parashar not to ruin her special day. She then turns to Rishi and asks why he came there. Rishi replies that her teacher invited him.
Parashar questions Rishi about what right he has to be there. Rishi calmly says he cannot fulfill their expectations, but he will always support Jhanak. Parashar accuses him of trying to act like a good person. Jhanak steps in and says this is between her and Rishi, and no one should interfere.
She clearly tells Parashar that she has already ended her relationship with Rishi, and she has the right to make her own decisions. Parashar says he only wants to protect her.
Jhanak then sends everyone away. She asks Rishi again why he came. Rishi tells her he did not know his presence would create problems for her. He asks if they can at least remain friends.
Jhanak refuses and says that is not possible. Rishi asks if she does not trust him. Jhanak replies that it is not about trust. She reminds him that they were married in the past, so staying just friends is not easy. She makes it clear that she does not want any kind of relationship with him anymore.
Rishi tells her that he came there just to see her and that his feelings have changed. Jhanak questions him, asking why he married Aditi if he already felt this way. She firmly says that now he is married to Aditi, so he has no right to ruin her life.

Parashar tells Jhanak that the truth is she is Aniruddh’s daughter, and Aniruddh should give his name to her. Jhanak asks if she should beg in front of Aniruddh.
