Jhanak On Starlife Sunday 5th July 2026 Update, The police inspector arrives at the Chatterjee house and says he has come for Jhanak. Rishi comes there, and the inspector says he is there for the investigation. Rishi assures him that they will fully cooperate. The police inspector asks whether everyone was present on the day of the incident. Dadabhai tells him that Dritimaan and Sanjhbati’s marriage registration took place that day, so everyone was there. The inspector says he wants to speak to Jhanak and asks them to explain exactly what happened that day. Dadabhai tells Putul to bring Jhanak.

Indumati explains everything to the police inspector. Then Tanushri says Jhanak served juice to Aditi, and Aditi fainted after drinking it. Rishi tells the inspector that he had already submitted the juice sample for testing. The police inspector reveals that the report has arrived, and it confirms that poison was found only in Aditi’s glass of juice. He says it is clear that someone mixed poison into that glass. Dadabhai asks where the poison came from. The inspector says his team also searched Aniruddh’s house and has now come to search the Chatterjee house.
Jhanak comes downstairs, and the police inspector asks her to explain what happened that day. Jhanak says she does not understand anything. She explains that she prepared juice for everyone but did not know Aditi’s family would attend the marriage. The inspector asks whether she was happy to see Aditi’s family. Jhanak replies that she was. Rishi quietly tells her to be careful while answering. The inspector then asks if she knows how poison got into Aditi’s juice. Tanushri immediately says Jhanak was happy to see Aditi because she had wanted to get rid of her for a long time. She also claims Jhanak could easily get poisonous substances from the medical college lab. Dadabhai stops Tanushri and reminds her that nothing has been proved yet because the investigation is still going on.
Sanjhbati says none of them actually saw what happened, so they cannot blame Jhanak or anyone else. The police inspector asks Jhanak who she thinks the culprit is. Jhanak insists that she has done nothing wrong. The inspector asks if she believes she can escape just by denying it and says they suspect she is behind the crime. Jhanak calmly tells him to show proof if he wants to call her guilty. The inspector asks if she is not afraid. Jhanak says everyone is accusing her, but no one has any solid evidence against her. The inspector points out that she prepared the juice and served it to everyone, so it is possible she already had poison and mixed it into Aditi’s glass.
Jhanak asks where the proof is. The police inspector replies that the proof will be presented in court. He then asks whether she thinks someone from Rishi’s family tried to kill Aditi. Jhanak asks why they would do that. He also asks whether Aditi’s parents or Sanjhbati’s family could be responsible. Jhanak says Sanjhbati’s family are good people. She then says there is a possibility that the poison was actually meant for her. Rishi and Putul agree with what Jhanak says.
Elsewhere, Aditi tells Anjana that she never believed Jhanak would try to kill her. Anjana asks Aditi to drink her soup. Aditi then asks if Nutan gave Moon her name. Anjana avoids the topic and says they should not talk about all that.
Back at the Chatterjee house, Jhanak tells the police inspector that she has no loved ones in this family, which is why everyone blamed her without thinking of any other possibility. The inspector asks whom she is accusing. Jhanak says she is not accusing anyone, but Aniruddh hates her. She believes there is a possibility that he brought the poison to kill her because he would benefit if she died. She questions why only she is being interrogated. The police inspector tells her that everyone is being investigated. Jhanak says Aniruddh should also be investigated properly. The inspector replies that they know how to do their job. Rishi says they should also consider Jhanak’s point. Dadabhai agrees that the truth must come out. Neelu mocks Jhanak and says no one thinks the way she does. Indumati says Jhanak is only blaming Aniruddh to save herself. The police inspector says they are looking for the poison container, so they will search Jhanak’s room first. Neelu takes the officers to her room.
Meanwhile, Arshi asks Aniruddh if Jhanak has gone mad. Aniruddh says Jhanak is desperate. Arshi replies that even Nutan was never this desperate. Aniruddh tells her not to bring Nutan into the conversation. Arshi asks whether Jhanak will escape punishment since the police have not arrested her yet. Aniruddh says the investigation is still going on. He thinks to himself that he never wanted to poison Aditi, and he is thankful that God saved her.
At Sanjhbati’s house, her mother tells Kaka that Sanjhbati and Dritimaan are coming home for lunch. A police officer arrives and says they have come to search the house in connection with Aditi’s case. After searching the house, the officers leave. Soon, Dritimaan and Sanjhbati arrive. Dritimaan asks Sanjhbati’s mother if she is alright. She says all these events are completely new to her and hopes the police never come back again. Sanjhbati offers to make tea, but Kaka tells her they cannot allow her to work. Sanjhbati’s mother says they could not even perform the post-marriage rituals. Dritimaan assures her that everything will be fine soon. He also tells them that Jhanak is claiming Aniruddh is behind the poisoning. Sanjhbati’s mother asks why Aniruddh would want to kill Aditi.
