Jhanak On Starlife Sunday 17th May 2026 Update, Sanjhbati asked Rishi whether he still loved Aditi. Rishi told her that yes he still loved Aditi. Sanjhbati then questioned how he fell for Jhanak if he had feelings for Aditi. Rishi explained that his feelings for Jhanak were genuine. Sanjhbati reminded him that he was with Aditi because she was his wife and asked if he had ever told Aditi that he loved Jhanak.

Rishi said he had only shared that with her. Sanjhbati advised him not to hurt either Jhanak or Aditi. She suggested that if he could then he should end everything with Jhanak. She added that Aditi was his wife and she could not tolerate any other girl in his life. Rishi said he could not see Jhanak sad. On the other side Aditi asked Mishti what happened in college. Mishti told her that Rishi came there with Sanjhbati and she had recorded everything. Putul scolded Mishti but Neelu defended her saying Mishti did nothing wrong. Putul had faced similar problems before yet she was not understanding Aditi’s pain. Tanushri said it was about her son so she should handle it. Mishti played the recording and said Rishi and Sanjhbati defended Jhanak. Aditi got very upset and said she wanted to go to her home and no one should stop her. She felt Rishi had accepted Jhanak as his wife but lied to her. Mishti added that she did not want to go to college anymore because Jhanak even talked to Rishi alone after the meeting. She said Ayush came to protect Jhanak and Rishi also came to the meeting for her so she could not face anyone now.
Aditi said she could not tolerate all this anymore and that was why she wanted to leave the house. Indumati reminded her that she was Rishi’s wife. Abhimanyu offered to talk to Rishi. Putul tried to explain that it was a trap for Jhanak and that was why Rishi and Sanjhbati defended her but they were still blaming Jhanak. Aditi lashed out at Putul saying she could not manage her own marriage so she could not see others happy. Putul told her not to talk about her personal life because her husband was wrong and her situation was different. Aditi complained that Rishi took Sanjhbati to college to support Jhanak. Just then Rishi came and scolded Mishti. He said he was ashamed to call her his sister. Tanushri asked why he supported Jhanak instead of Mishti. Aditi told Rishi to make a decision. She reminded him that he had said in front of everyone that Jhanak was his wife but earlier he claimed he never accepted that marriage so it seemed like a lie. Abhimanyu said Rishi did not care about their reputation.
Rishi explained that the college called him as Jhanak’s guardian for the meeting and something wrong had happened with her so he helped. Aditi asked if he was born only to help Jhanak. She said he was her husband and she could not let him think about others because they should be each other’s priority. Rishi replied that they were married and he was taking care of her but being her husband did not mean he could not take responsibility for others. Tanushri asked why he took Sanjhbati. Rishi said she came as a witness and he was ashamed of Mishti’s actions. He questioned how Mishti could lock Jhanak and Ayush in the room. Neelu told him he was not able to see Aditi’s pain and he was stuck with Jhanak instead of focusing on his marriage. Aditi said Rishi was only lying and betraying her. Rishi told her that many things would have happened if he was really betraying. Aditi gave him 24 hours to decide whether he would end everything with Jhanak or not. Rishi said his decision was clear and he would go to help Jhanak whenever she was in trouble.
Later Jhanak’s roommate asked her why her ex-husband left her. Jhanak told her not to question all that and fell asleep. Mishti called the roommate and asked her to give a missed call to Rishi from Jhanak’s phone. The roommate agreed. Aditi saw the call and told Rishi she could not even sleep peacefully now. Rishi said he did not call Jhanak. The next day Aditi told Rishi to call Jhanak back. When he did and asked why she called him yesterday Jhanak said she did not call.
