Jhanak On Starlife Saturday 18th April 2026 Update, Neelu tells Aditi to call DG and ask about Rishi, since he was supposed to have a meeting with him. Putul, however, feels Aditi should not call. Aditi gets frustrated and asks what else she is supposed to do, because Rishi left early in the morning and has still not returned. Putul says she is also worried since Rishi is her brother. Aditi then says Rishi should leave this dangerous job and join Aniruddh’s business, but Putul disagrees and says Rishi is not that kind of person. Abhimanyu supports this and says Rishi wants to serve the country now, and maybe in the future he might join the business if he chooses to change his career.

Aditi finally calls DG and puts the phone on speaker. She tells him that Rishi has not returned home after their meeting. DG reveals that the meeting was cancelled and that he had already informed Rishi about it the previous day. Aditi explains that Rishi is not answering his phone, which is why she called. After ending the call, she tells the family that Rishi lied to her before leaving the house. She starts suspecting that he may have gone to meet Jhanak. Indumati says that is not possible, while Tanushri warns her not to doubt Rishi over every small thing.
Just then, Rishi enters the house, thinking he is not in the mood to talk to anyone. Putul taunts Aditi for doubting him, but Aditi says her suspicion is still there because DG confirmed the meeting was cancelled. Rishi casually asks if they have not slept yet and says his phone battery died. Neelu then tells him they already know his meeting was cancelled.
Aditi directly asks Rishi where he went. Rishi lies and says he went out for work. Abhimanyu tells him he should have informed the family. Aditi reveals that she went to the event venue, but the event did not even take place. Rishi says he forgot about the event because of work pressure and might have confused the date. Aditi insists that she wants her doubts cleared because she does not want to live in fear. Putul leaves to bring food for Rishi.
Neelu notices that Rishi looks upset, but he brushes it off, saying he is just tired. Aditi continues to question him, asking if he is hiding anything. Rishi says everything is fine and repeats that he is only tired and hungry. Aditi requests him to be honest because she does not want to hear things from others later, but Rishi avoids the conversation.
The next day, Aditi says she will visit her parents before going to college. Neelu then asks Rishi to take everyone out for dinner since he spoiled their plan the previous day. Rishi agrees, and Aditi invites Payal to join them. Payal happily agrees. Abhimanyu asks them to let him watch the news, but Tanushri teases him for watching it every day. She suggests inviting Mishti too. Rishi adds that they should invite Putul, but Aditi says Putul will not come. Neelu agrees, saying Putul is not comfortable with them, while Indumati says there is no need to ask her. Payal also adds that Putul does not like outside food.
At that moment, Putul comes there and says some people are not comfortable with her presence, so she will not join them. She then walks away. Abhimanyu tells everyone to calm down and switches on the news. It shows Jhanak’s felicitation event, and everyone starts watching. Rishi silently hopes that his speech is not shown, but everyone is left shocked when his speech is aired.
Meanwhile, in Simulboni, Parashar expresses his concern to Jhanak about how she will manage alone in Kolkata. Jhanak says his and Nutan’s blessings are enough for her. Kanka brings up Rishi and says he is there to take care of Jhanak, but Jhanak firmly says she has already cut all ties with Rishi. Parashar warns Kanka to stay out of Jhanak’s matters, but Kanka argues that even though Jhanak is nothing to her, she still cares. Parashar tells her to stop, and Jhanak, overwhelmed, starts crying and leaves.
Back at home, Aditi confronts Rishi after seeing the news. She accuses him of lying again and asks how she can trust him if he keeps cheating her like this. Neelu questions how he could go to Simulboni, and Aditi reminds him that she had already given him a final warning. Neelu tells Rishi to stop breaking Aditi’s trust again and again. Aditi then says he went there as Jhanak’s husband, which shocks everyone even more.
Tanushri says she cannot defend him after this, and Abhimanyu tells him he has crossed all limits. Rishi tries to explain that he could not refuse Jhanak’s teacher’s invitation and thought he should attend her felicitation, so he went. Aditi points out that now everyone will see this on the news. Rishi insists that he did nothing wrong, but Payal disagrees and says what he did was completely wrong. She adds that attending the event as Jhanak’s husband is an insult to Aditi.
Hurt and angry, Aditi asks Rishi what he would have done if he were in her place.
