Jhanak On Starlife Friday 5th June 2026 Update, Jhanak asks Dritimaan why he looks upset. Dritimaan asks whether she was waiting for him. Jhanak replies that she was studying while waiting for him. She then asks if Sanjhbati will come the next day.

Dritimaan says his marriage to Sanjhbati will not happen. Jhanak tells him not to say that. She says if Sanjhbati’s mother is angry now, she will eventually calm down.
Just then, Rishi arrives and says he will bring Sanjhbati there tomorrow. Dritimaan says Sanjhbati will never go against her mother and Kaka for him. Rishi tells him not to worry because he will speak to Sanjhbati personally. Dritimaan says there is no need for that. Rishi replies that Sanjhbati’s family has every right to be angry with him, but he is still confident that he can bring her there the next day.
Dritimaan insists that Sanjhbati will not come and that she will not change her decision. Jhanak says Dritimaan and Sanjhbati should be together and that they will convince her. Rishi then tells Dritimaan to rest for the day.
Meanwhile, Sanjhbati sits looking at Dritimaan’s photograph and cries. She asks why he gave her so much pain over the years. She says her family saw everything she suffered because of him, which is why they are angry. She recalls how she spent years living without happiness, and how that broke her family’s hearts. She tells Dritimaan that her family protected her throughout those years, so she cannot marry him without their permission.
Back at the house, Jhanak says her heart tells her that Dritimaan is a good person. Dritimaan tells her that she will achieve great success in her career one day. He says she should not become weak because of the accusations against her.
Jhanak becomes emotional hearing his words. She tells both of them that she is happy they trust her and promises that she will never disappoint them. She also assures Dritimaan that Sanjhbati will return to him. According to her, no power in the world can separate true lovers.
As she says this, Rishi and Jhanak share a long eye lock. Dritimaan notices the moment between them.
The next day, a police officer arrives at Rishi’s house with her team. Dadabhai asks why the police have come. Rishi tells him that Aniruddh and Arshi are responsible for it.
Aniruddh and Arshi enter the house. Arshi says the investigation must happen. Aditi agrees and says the jewel is expensive, so Arshi has every right to know the truth. She adds that she believes Jhanak is innocent, but she also wants to know who the real culprit is.
Rishi tells the officers to begin the investigation. Putul says the mystery should be solved quickly. Neelu tells Jhanak to cooperate because she was the one who went into Aditi’s room. Jhanak says she is ready to answer every question.
Seeing the police, Mishti becomes nervous and tries to leave quietly. Rishi notices this and asks her to come back.
Elsewhere, Sanjhbati’s mother asks her to sit down for breakfast. Sanjhbati says she is not hungry and asks whether she is going to be forced into that as well. Kaka says he understands why Sanjhbati is irritated.
Her mother tells her that she never stopped her from meeting Dritimaan. Kaka adds that Sanjhbati can marry Dritimaan if she wants to. However, Sanjhbati says she does not want to discuss the matter anymore.
Her mother reminds her that Dritimaan betrayed her. Sanjhbati immediately disagrees and says Dritimaan never betrayed her. She also says she does not believe he did anything wrong. She tells them not to speak to Dritimaan if they do not want to.
Hurt by her words, Sanjhbati’s mother says this is the reward she gets after protecting her daughter for so many years.
Sanjhbati responds by saying that she also protected her mother in the matter involving Kaka. Her mother is shocked and hurt by the statement. She says she never expected to hear such words from her daughter.
Kaka explains that he and Sanjhbati’s mother never wanted to get married. Sanjhbati replies that they should have married because everyone thinks they are having an affair, and she is suffering because of those rumours.
She reminds them that they already know she will not marry Dritimaan without their approval. However, she says she will continue supporting him even if she never marries him.
Back at Rishi’s house, the police officer announces that she needs everyone’s fingerprints. One by one, everyone provides them.
After that, the officer asks to see the CCTV footage. Rishi explains that some of the cameras are not working. Mishti suddenly says the cameras malfunctioned. Rishi immediately asks how she knows that. Mishti replies that she cannot remember who told her.
Jhanak asks whether she can leave now. Arshi sharply tells her to stay silent because an investigation is still going on.
The police officer says she will return the next day with the reports. Rishi asks her to make sure the real culprit is found. The officer promises that the truth will come out and that no innocent person will be punished.
She takes possession of the stolen jewel as evidence. Arshi reminds her to be careful because it is very expensive. The officer assures her that everything will be handled properly before leaving.
Afterward, Rishi notices Jhanak looking worried. He asks why she seems scared and tells her that she has nothing to fear because the real culprit will eventually be caught.
Meanwhile, Sanjhbati tells her mother that she never asked for her permission before starting her relationship with Kaka. Her mother asks why she never mentioned this before.
Sanjhbati says she was forced to speak about it now. She tells them that she will not marry Dritimaan, but she will remain his friend.
Angered by this, her mother tells her to go and stay at Dritimaan’s house if she cares so much about him. Sanjhbati replies that she has the right to make her own decisions.
Kaka tells her that if she decides to marry Dritimaan, he will support her. He also says he will not pressure her mother into accepting anything.
Sanjhbati then reminds her mother that Dritimaan is a cancer survivor and does not deserve such treatment. She asks her not to question her anymore and walks away.
Later, Aniruddh tells Arshi that Aditi is coming to discuss why Anjana did not attend Dadabhai and Indumati’s wedding anniversary celebration.
Arshi asks what will happen if Anjana reveals the truth to Aditi. She says she wants to talk to Choton because she wants him to withdraw the case.
