Jhanak On Starlife Friday 22nd May 2026 Update, Ayush tells Jhanak that she should ask him if she needs any help. Jhanak tells him to take care of himself too. Dev then takes Ayush away from there. The principal informs everyone that the canteen staff got badly injured, so the students will have to cook for themselves. Rishi tells Jhanak to go and rest for some time.

The principal also warns Jhanak not to leave the campus. Rishi suggests that she stay at Sanjhbati’s house, but Jhanak refuses. She asks him why she should stay in someone else’s house when she has every right to stay in the hostel. She tells him not to worry about her.
Rishi explains that Sanjhbati would be happy if Jhanak stayed with her. Jhanak says she knows Sanjhbati is a good person, but she does not want to trouble her. Rishi then says that if there was any issue, he would have taken Jhanak to his own house. Jhanak immediately asks him what right he has to take her there. Before Rishi can answer, the professor takes Jhanak inside. Rishi stands there feeling helpless.
On the other hand, Arshi warns Aniruddh not to get influenced by others when it comes to her matters. Aniruddh questions her behavior towards Bablu and Anjana and asks if it was right. Arshi starts shouting that she did nothing wrong. She asks Bablu if he is not ashamed of trying to create problems between a husband and wife. Aniruddh angrily tells her to stop. He warns her that he will file a complaint against her if she continues.
Arshi asks what exactly she did to Anjana and where the proof is. Aniruddh tells her not to force him into taking serious action. Arshi finally admits that she is behind everything. She says she only did it because Bablu and Anjana tried to ruin her and Aditi’s lives. She adds that she never wants Anjana to return to that house again before walking away. Aniruddh silently hopes the police find Anjana soon.
The next day, Rishi tells Putul that he has to take food for Jhanak. Putul says she will pack the tiffin and goes inside. At the same time, Neelu talks about celebrating her parents’ wedding anniversary. Indumati says there is no need for any celebration, but Neelu insists they can keep it simple. Indumati replies that her husband will never agree, but Neelu confidently says she will convince him.
Putul returns with the tiffin and gives it to Rishi. Aditi asks him if he will not come home for lunch. Rishi lies and says he is taking food for his colleagues because they are busy with strike duty.
Putul reminds everyone not to forget inviting Sanjhbati. Aditi sarcastically asks how much Sanjhbati can even handle now that she has taken responsibility for Jhanak because of Rishi. Rishi immediately warns Aditi not to speak about Sanjhbati like that. Aditi then asks him what about her own respect.
Abhimanyu advises Rishi not to do anything that could hurt Aditi. He says they should stop thinking about Ridhiman because he clearly does not care about the family anymore. But Rishi says they should not trust rumors about Ridhiman.
Indumati worries that guests will ask questions about Ridhiman during the anniversary celebration and says she does not want to face embarrassment. Tanushri replies that they cannot stop living their lives because of Ridhiman’s mistakes. She gives the responsibility of the party to Aditi and Neelu. She also says Putul must already be busy with other work. Putul sadly says Tanushri did not even ask her once, and honestly, she is not interested in the celebration anyway.
Meanwhile, Aniruddh tells Choton that he is Shubhankar’s son and he will fight this matter in court. He also says he already informed Mimi. Bablu says he wants to go and search for Anjana himself. Choton reminds him that the police are already looking for her. He then asks Aniruddh if he informed Rishi about everything. Aniruddh says he did not.
Arshi questions why Rishi even needs to know. Aniruddh tells her to go inside. Choton then says he will take Bablu and Anjana to his house if needed. Arshi mocks him and says he should do that and then face betrayal later. Aniruddh again sends her inside and tells everyone that he has not informed Aditi about Anjana either.
Later, Rishi reaches the hostel, but the security guard stops him and says he needs permission to enter. Rishi tells him to inform the principal that he has come to meet Jhanak. The security guard goes and informs the principal.
The principal then calls Aniruddh and tells him that Rishi came to the college to meet Jhanak even during the strike. Aniruddh immediately tells the principal not to allow Rishi to meet her. The principal agrees and ends the call. Arshi asks Aniruddh what happened, and he tells her everything. Arshi says no one seems capable of controlling Rishi anymore.
The principal later meets Rishi and tells him he cannot allow him inside the hostel. He says Rishi can simply hand over the food to the security guard. But Rishi insists that he wants to personally check on Jhanak’s injuries. The principal says Rishi is not even in uniform and he cannot allow him to meet a student personally. Rishi firmly replies that he is still a police officer even without the uniform. Hearing this, the principal finally allows him to enter.
Rishi meets Jhanak and gives her the tiffin. Jhanak asks him if he already ate. Rishi says he has not. She then asks him to sit and eat with her. The two sit together and start eating while talking about who truly cares for Jhanak. Rishi then asks her if she is really sure that no one in his family loves her.
