Tanveer asks azhar’s mother if the job is done, and she replies that it is. Azhar’s mother says that she has given badi ammi’s meds to sanam, who is shown to be approaching badi ammi’s room with the meds and a glass of juice, oblivious that the meds arent in fact to cure but to make her all the more sick, like they have been doing all these years.

Tanveer says that when she feeds badi ammi those meds, sanam would know that she has taken a big mistake by asking to take care of badi ammi. As sanam begins to pour out the med, badi ammi goes distraught. Sanam gives her meds to take, citing it to be very necessary, that it would get her better. Tanveer thinks that she wont let sanam destroy her game so easily, as she has done a lot to reach this place, and has massacred many people in its course, remembering asad and zoya’s murder, and married Nawab and was in jail for so long, just to accomplish her mission, and now only badi ammi stands in the way and is determined that she wont let sanam come in the way of her badi ammi and her mission. she tells azhar’s mom that she is going to go and see how sanam is doing, and go to her badi ammi. sanam is again happy with begum sahiba, for being so kind hearted and geuine.
Scene 2:
Location: Munisa’s residence
Meanwhile, dilshad is coughing bad, while asking haya to search the meds for her. Haya complies. rahat finds her surfing through. In haste, haya cuts her finger again, disturbing rahat. she gets the water to dilshad and after she takes them, she takes dilshad to her room, while he watches and then gets up and leaves too. Dilshad in her room, asks haya to find the meds. She complies andc when she comes out, she finds the med, that rahat found, and kept on the table for her, and he ritiring to his room. haya smiles.
A sudden doorbell ringing causes munisa to open the door, and she is shocked to hear that Nawab’s wife, bagum sahiba has come. Munisa offers to serve her, but she refuses and says that she wants to meet sanam’s badi ammi. munisa proclaims to be very good to sanam’s family. She takes begum sahiba towards dilshad’s room. She thern asks for water, and munisa leaves. tanveer faces dilshad, as her back is turned towards her.
She tells dilshad that she has come to meet her, and that sanam has sent her here, and identifies herself first, as Begum Tanveer. Butr dilshad is oblivious to all this as she has fallen asleep, which tanveer doesnt realise. She continues to rant, while haya comes in. munisa too comes with water. Tanveer asks about haya, and munisa identifies her and talks about her deficiency in speech and hearing. Munisa tells her, on haya’s signal, that dilshad is asleep. tanveer refuses and says that she just came here fo the meds, and compliments haya on her beauty and says that she wish she could see her. She takes their leave.
When dilshad wakes up and finds the meds, munisa tells that begum got these for her, sent by sanam. dilshad feels bad that she couldnt meet begum sahiba, as she has to reciprocate the favour, as she isnt an ordinary woman. she thanks the lord that sanam is in such good hands.
Location: Ahil’s residence and on the road
As she begins to go, bad ammi tries hard to call her, but her hands accidentally fall on the glass, getting her attention, and she immediately rushes to her tensed and concerned. She rushes outside, to shout for anyone’s help, while azhar’s mother finds badi ammi worseing, and calls tanveer to tell about this situation, while saying that now sanam would be tensed too.
But she is shocked when she finds that sanam has got asma to look at badi ammi. tanveer is really tensed to hear this, as asma is a doctor. Tanveer asks her to take care of sanam while she immediately arrives. sanam asks asma to do something. asma asks for the meds. Sanam complies, and asma goes through them. Asma gives her an injection, which gets badi ammi relief. sanam is relieved and asks asma if she is okay, and wont worsen again. asma says that her pulse is okay and she wont worsen. sanam is relieved. ahil comes in demanding whats happeneing here. Sanam is shocked to see her.
Ahil asks what happened. Sanam says that she did nothing wrong, but ahil refuses to believe her. tanveer comes in just then. Sanam tells ahil that azhar’s mother had given her these meds, citing it to be very necessary for badi ammi. Ahil takes the meds. azhar’s mother and tanveer are highly tensed. Ahil asks her to stay away from badi ammi, saying that she would worsen her. Ahil says that she cant do anything right, and that it was right that asma was here.
Tanveer finds her chance and says that if he wants so, sanam wont be near badi ammi, and asks him to relax. Asma offers to look at the medicines. tanveer and azhar’s mother are tensed. Asma goes through the meds. azhar’s mother is tensed that if she opens thw bottle, all would be destroyed, and everyone would know that she has changed the meds. Asma says that the meds are correct and maybe she had a reaction to something else.
Asma tells ahil that he should be thankful to sanam as its due to her faith, that she could administer the injection having faith in herself. ahil eyes sanam tensedly. He leaves, while sanam thanks asma and leaves too, teary eyed. All disperse, leaving behind tanveer and azhar’s parents. They hesitatingly ask her whats the next step, and whether sanam would or wouldnt take care of badi ammi. tanveer says that its better to have an intelligent enemy rather than a foolish friend, and reprimands them for being so stupid and if asma had opend the bottle, her game would have been destroyed. Tanveer tells them that if next time, her game goes wrong, she wouldnt let them be okay too.
Asma’s parents come with asma, and azhar’s parents send latif for snacks and tea, while she starts complaining where is sanam.
Sanam is relieved to find that badi ammi doesnt have fever, and assures that she would be okay soon. tanveer comes and asks sanam to take care of the guess downstairs. sanam tells about taking care of badi ammi. tanveer offers to do so herself. Sanam complies and goes down to attend to the guests. Sanam leaves. tanveer shuts the door. she comes with a box asking badi begum how is she, as she has spent life like this for 12 years, and wouldnt remember how life is healthy and sound. she apologises and says that she is herself responsible for her condition, as she deprived her of her wish, and hence she kept badi ammi like this. She says that she is tired now and she must be too, lying like this. she placves before badi ammi a deal, and asks if she accepts it. badi begum is really scared. Tanveer opens the box, to reveal a poisonous snake, trying to scare badi ammi, who is visibly scared. She places the snake on her bed, saying she doesnt speak much, but knows that she understands everything and when the time comes, she can open her mouth. Tanveer coaxes her to speak for her own safety. she says that she knows that she doesnt like tanveer at all, but her anger shouldnt be with the apple of her eye, as she loves him dearly, and wont let anyone come in between his happiness, not even her.
She says that she knows that she never wanted her to marry tanveer, as she always doubted tanveer, and considered her an enemy, but she wasnt her enemy, but was helpless in front of her son’s love. tanveer says that for so amny years, badi ammi has hidden nawab’s will fromn her, and she was forced to torture badi ammi like this and that she should tell her, and escape this torture. Badi ammi is very scared as the snake slowly starts creeping on her bed, and then finally rises to make a bite.
Tanveer says that she doesnt have much time now left. badi ammi is scared and starts shrieking. tanveer asks her to calmly tell where’s the will. The snaks reaches upto badi ammi’s face. Just then, sanam and latif come asking if tanveer had her food. They see the snake and are horrified and tanveer pretends not to know anything about it, being blind. others too come, and azhar’s mother almost loses consciousness. sanam keeps tanveer away, while latif hides. Sanam is concerned for badi ammi. They scream for ahil. he first comes and ensures that tanveer is alright and then goes to badi ammi, to very carefully and cautiously catch the snake, after having distract him away from badi ammi, asking her to be still and motionless.
Finally, when the snake is afar, sanam throws a sheet on the snake, amidst much horror and showing bravery, throws the sheet along with the snake away from badi ammi and onto the floor. ahil looks at her with overwhelming eyes, while she is still shocked. sanam and ahil go to ask badi ammi if she is okay. All question where the snake come from.
Sanam says that only Badi Begum was here and she cant even walk around, then she couldnt have done it, and other than that only tanveer came. Latif asks if she is trying to insinuate that tanveer placed it. sanam says that tanveer didnt even know that the snake was here, and hence she wasnt trying to imply that. sanam thanks the lord that badi ammi and tanveer are okay. rehaan says that they shopuld be thankful to her, as if she hadnt come in time, anything could have happened. ahil eyes sanam tensedly. tanveer says that today badi ammi would have to had to bear the brunt of her blindness. Ahil says that whats important is that they all are okay.
Tanveer thanks her profusely for having saved badi ammi’s life. sanam says that this was her duty as part of their family. ahil asks tanveer to come along and send off asma’s parents. They begin to go, while tanveer comes and again reminds badi begum how much she cares for her, and that their talk isnt finished yet. Badi begum is scared.
All sit down for sinner, while sanam serves them all. she asks asma to have some, while tanveer sits tensed. Tanveer says that this girl is becoming unbearable and she can throw her out in a minute, if she wants to. But then decides against it, saying that she would put sanam also to her use at the right time. Ahil joins them all. On her husband’s insistence, azhar’s mother hesitatingly picks up the topic of decorations and stuff.
Asma’s parents hesitatingly pick up that they want to postpone the date if possible, for marriage. all are tensed. Asma’s mother clarifies that Javed, asma’s brother is sick and they would have to go to London for some time. azhar’s mother says that its considered ill luck. ahil says that it wont matter. azhar and his parents are tensed. ahil asks tanveer, who seems to be lost. But then she finally agrees, citing family values and mutual understanding. Azhar’s parents comply resignedly.
While sanam is cleaning the dining table, ahil comes and finding tanveer lost, asks her whats the matter. tanveer says that she is thinking what would have happened if sanam hadnt come.
Ahil asks her not to worry as nothing happened, and god never does anything wrong with anyone. Sanam overhears all this. Rehaan tells ahil that he would have to agree that sanam is godsent to keep tanveer and badi ammi safe. Ahil agrees on this surprisingly, shocking sanam and rehaan is amused. ahil finds sanam having heard it and then is flustered while she smiles at him, shocked still.
Ahil immediately changes his tone and cites it as a stroke of luck. Sanam instantly gets frustrated with him. Later, she is shocked that ahil says that he doesnt want to fight with her anymore, as he knows that he has irritated and troubled her much, and he wants to put an end to this and not fight anymore with her. Sanam wonders how sun rose in the west, as ahil has turned over a new leaf, becoming a gentleman.
Sanam turns around to find ahil talking on the phone and not to herself, and then she realises that she had been a fool to think that ahil has changed, while he actually tries to calm his girlfriend down. Sanam is happy nevertheless that he atleast accepted his mistake in front of someone, and then says that she forgives him. sanam gets frustrated at ahil, when she finds him reverting back yet again.
sanam gets food for rehaan, so that he can work easily late night. Sanam tells about her history of the dhaba, and then starts talking evil again about ahil, who is always inconsiderate about anyone’s needs. rehaan asks if she thinks that ahil cant be good for anyone. He again tries to clarify her misunderstanding. sanam starts talking about her hopes and dreams when she landed in Bhopal, and compares it to the life that she is currently leading, under ahil’s debt, without having any friends. Rehaan asks whose he, if not a friend. she asks him to have food, and adds that he has indeed supported her many a times, and thanks him.
While sanam is walking in the lobby, she collides into Tanveer and apologises profusely. Tanveer asks why didnt she sleep. She says that she has to go to change Badi ammi’s sheet, and hence is going there. Tanveer is frustrated with all these problems, with badi ammi and sanam. But is determined not to let her get away with what she has always dreamed of.
In the room, sanam changes the sheets, while badi ammi sits on the chair, and then says that she had given an extra blanket for cold and also talks about morning walks daily, so that her knees have movement.
Tanveer is tensed in her room, remembering the snake incident with Badi ammi and throws off a glass in disgust. She wonders where that will is, as she has waited 12 long years, and kept her ill and helpless, and hopes that badi ammi doesnt destroy the will and deprive her son of his right. She is frustrated when would badi ammi talk, and that now her condition is like she isnt able to even speak, and is disgusted when would she knows the secret to that will.
Location: Munisa’s residence
While haya is lighting candles, farhad comes and tries to be intimate with her, while she runs away somehow and hides in rahat’s room’s curtains. Rahat turns her around asking who’s there. An awkward eyelock follows, wherein she apologises in signals to rahat for dusturbing him, and then rushes out. rahat looks on.
At the dinner table, while haya is serving dinner to munisa and her husband and he leers on her, munisa sees this and gets disturbed. Munisa starts reprimanding haya for being slow and lazy and asks her to hurry up and leave and give rahat his food in the room. Her husband eyes haya as she goes. Munisa is upset with his attention at haya.
In his room, rahat sits with memories of his past girlfriend, as he eyes a picture. He hears a knock on the door, and then finds haya entering with food. She serves him dinner and also lights up his room. Their eyes meet.
He asks her to go. She complies. Later in the might, while haya starts looking for food in the fridge, munisa eyes her evilly remembering how she had thrown off all food in the dustbin so that haya would be hungry, as a revenge for the way she had tried to lure her husband. she leaves. haya satiates her hunger by eating Parle G biscuits, while tears roll down her cheeks. rahat comes in for water and finds haya like that and no food in the fridge. he is apalled, after first trying to be careless about it. he leaves. Munisa finds rahat paying the delivery boy, as he hands him a pckage.
Rahat begins to go to the kitchen, while munisa stops him, saying that if she doesnt eat one day, she wont die, and that a girl like her deserves this. Rahat tries to prove his point, but she asks why is he so caring all of a sudden for her. He eyes haya praying, while munisa too watches. Munisa comes in his way, and asks if seeing her erased Zaiba’s memories, and if his love was so easy to be forgotten. Rahat leaves in disgust. Munisa is frustrated with haya trying to lure both her husband and brother and is determined to get rid of her soon.
Location: Ahil’s residence
As sanam begins to go, after tending to badi ammi, she is surprised as she clutches tight at her hands, and turns around, while she eyes sanam apalled. She asks badi ammi if she is trying to say something, and encourages her to say it. She fumbles with words and tries to say something about the Red Wall, and Sallauddin and kabristan, and sanam wonders what she means by saying all that. finally badi ammi gives up and doses off. sanam asks her to try without hurting herself.
She treis but isnt able to. Sanam thanks the lord that she is able to speak finally, and decides to tell this to everyone, especially begum sahiba, and that she mightnt understand but others would definitely. she goes to get others. Badi ammi says that if tanveer gets to know that she can speak, then she would do something very dangerous.
