Asad is finally stopped when he hears badi bi’s voice stunned calling out to rashid’s dead body lying on the floor. She is distraught, while humaira comes and tries to console and compose her. All are tensed for her, and in tears temselves. asad finally asks them to take mamu away. As zoya continues to protest desperately, asad screams at her saying that its enough.

She tells them that at five, the time of the crime, mamu was with her at the dargah and asks mamu also to verify and then asks asad how can he kill rashid if he was with her at the dargah. All are tensed. The police say that they havent reached a conclusion, and the time is just a rough estimate and even if he believes what she says, then did he come back with her. she denies. The police says that maybe he committed the crime after he met her. Zoya asks how can he do all this, after what all he told her. Asad says that he can as he got scared that rashid might tell things to the society that he wants unhidden. asad asks how can she try to save him.
Zoya says that she isnt trying to save him, but actually he is innocent and hasnt done any crime. she says that he is an easy person to be implicated but he hasnt done this. all are tensed. Asad and zoya enter into a verbal argument about whether he has done this or not, and then finally mamu starts walking. He is coaxed by zoya to break his silence. Zoya asks mamu if he knows the murderer, as he was with rashid in his last breaths, and pleads him to break his silence. She makes him swear on herself, his own daughter, to speak the truth and tell everyone that he didnt do this, for the sake of her. He finally begins to say that this murder…..and all are waiting with bated breaths at what he has to say. He finally finishes by saying that he indeed hasnt committed the murder, shocking zoya and sending everyone into surprise and angst. He says that he accepts this as a punishment sent by god, and that he was to get this one day, and he wants her to forget him andf start a new life with asad, where there’s only happiness. Zoya is shocked and stunned into sadness. zoya collapses on the floor, while humaira clutches at razia.
Meanwhile, tanveer is really happy with her luck and fortunate destiny, and that her pawns played out exactly as they were meant to by her.
How she trapped zoya in her bait and then she killed two birds with one stone, and how she had fooled razia by intentionally dropping the pic on the floor, and then getting razia to kill her own husband and zoya’s father who she just met, and in all of this, her biggest bet was rashid, as she finally reveals the final and fifth pic of rashid. She says that she never wanted mamu to die, but she only wanted Razia to keep an eye on him, while she herself was waiting for the right time. She remembers how she got asad to leave rashid and then zoya also to meet her father, so that rashid is alone. Tanveer thinks that zoya was placed in a dilemma who to choose, her or asad’s father but finally she chose the perdon she wanted her to. She goes onto recount how she had killed rashid, by sending the servant out, how she had taken rashid on the pretext of meeting asad, and he hurriedly went too. how mamu had returned and when he did, he found rashid on the roof, and rushed after him, to find tanveer having stabbed him, while rashid is stunned completely. As mamu tries to save rashid, rashid clutches on the locket and jerks it out of mamu’s neck. How asad saw mamu at the roof and finally thought that he had murdered his father. She is super happy with the success of her plan, as zoya would be tortured now, and asad and tanveer would be together forever.
Finally razia enters and is angry at tanveer for having double crossed her. but tanveer explains that her plan got both of them happy, as noone would believe mamu now, if he implicates her. she qasks her to be happy as she is finally free.
Scene 2:
Location: Sameera’s residence
Haseena and farhan are discussing mamu committing rashid’s cold blooded murder. They find Khushboo sad. haseena says that she has been like this, since the news of rashid’s death. Farhan says that there’s something else, as she wasnt related to rashid for her to feel sad. He is tensed for khushboo.
Scene 3:
Location: Ayan’s residence
Finally, the police get to taking away the body. dilshad stops them. Later, as rashid is being taken away, dilshad goes berserk and doesnt allow them to take her away, by presuming that he is asleep, and shouldnt be disturbed. asad tries hard to compose her while all are apalled. the wardboys begin to take him away, while dilshad rushes frantically after him. Nazma and zoya are distraught too. Just then, shirin also comes in, to everyone’s shock and with much dreaded caution, she goes onto lift the sheet and is shocked to find rashid, lying dead.
Later, haider is in a dilemma, thinking about zoya and wonders what to do, but then thinks that he should refrain from telling the truth, as if she gets to know that her father killed her mother, she would be heart broken. Haider comes and sits beside her. She asks if he also thinks like asad. Hader tells her that asad is equally traumatised at the loss of his father, and he doesnt know about mamu, but everyone knows about his criminal past. zoya asks if mamu tried to distract her by saying that he is her father. He says that he cant comment and asks her to trust her heart and its instincts. Zoya is tensed.
Later, zoya goes to the roof to find asad, and tells him that mamu isnt lying, as she had seen his eyes and love in them, which couldnt be false and that her heart says that he is her father and he hasnt murdered asad’s father. asad is tensed. He then turns around. asad says that if her heart says that mamu isnt the murderer, then his heart says that mamu had done this, and hence he would stay on this conviction. He says that he would do anything to prove him guilty and she says that she would do anything to prove him innocent. They confront each other.
The police tells them, on the next morning, about the post mortem report that he was first stabbed and then thrown off the roof, and it happened from 5:15 to 5:25 in the morning. shirin is devastated and dilshad too goes after her. Zoya gets up too. Asad tells the police that he hopes that the law shall punish mamu, and god forbid, if it doesnt, then he himself would see that mamu is severely punished. Zoya hears this and is shocked.
The police assure that they are just waiting for mamu’s confession and if he is found guilty then they shall punish him, and if he doesnt open his mouth soon, then they have other tactics too. Asad tells them that he wants to see mamu till the gallows. Zoya is distraught while haider is tensed. Zoya calls the police and asks if sdhe can talk to mamu, identifying herself as his daughter, but the police denies, despite her several requests. as she turns around, she finds asad staring at her tensedly, in disgust. He tells her that rashid’s funeral is about to start but it feels that she has more important work, and asks her to join if she has tyhe time. Asad leaves, while zoya is tensed at his rudeness. .
In her room, shirin is lamenting over rashid’s death, shedding tears while dilshad watches her at the door, grief stricken herself. dilshad tells her that she understands her pain nicely, as they both have the same pain. shirin clutches at the pic, while dilshad says that when pain exceeds tolerable limit it should be divided. She says that she knows shirin doesnt want them on the same roof, but could share their pain atleast. she tells shirin that its time for the funeral and leaves, unable to stop crying herself. Shirin is struck in sadness.
Scene 2:
Location: Sameera’s residence
haseena and farhan think that they should go to remorse too, and that they shall say that nikhat is in the clinic and they havent broken this news to her, because that would traumatise her more. Haseena is happy while farhan leaves. Haseena is tensed to find khushboo, pale and struck in sadness. she wonders what is this due to.
Scene 3:
Location: Ayan’s residence
Tanveer comes to give fake pretense and consolation to dilshad, who doesnt even bother to react. Humaira is joined by zoya, who says that she always considered her as her sister, but its ironical that they got to know the truth about their relation at such a juncture. Humaira leaves in disgust. Zoya is tensed. When nuzrat comes to join shirin, she asks about nikhat, and nuzrat is unable to respond. But finally nikhat steps in. Nikhat joins everyone at the funeral, and breaks down in shirin’s arms. While haseena has come for lamenting, she is shocked to herar nikhat’s voice, and when she turns around to find nikhat in shirin’s arms, she is shocked beyond belief. She turns around looking all shocked.
All have gathered for rashid’s last site, before he is taken away for funeral. Nikhat too sees him from hiding. shirin prays by his side, for rendering him peace in his afterlife. dilshad remembers her moments with rashid and how their lives took various tumultous turns. She gets up and goes beside rashid, while shirin is surprised. Before she can come closer, she is stopped by shirin, who says that she never liked her, not because she is bad, but because she was always scared of her, the scare that she would snatch everything from her. the entire family stands tensed. She says that she knew rashid loved dilshad very much. Shirin tells dilshad that all his life, rashid had wanted them both to get along and be under the same roof,
living together, but she couldnt do it, as she is the other woman in her marital life, and she couldnt digest this scenario. She says that rashid took this wish also along with him. tanveer and razia exchange evil glances. She takes dilshad’s hands while she is surprised. Dilshad is overwhelmed. She says that now she wants to fulfill this wish of his. Zoya and nazma are tensed. She says that she doesnt even know if dilshad would comply now. dilshad hugs her emotionally. Shirin takes her hand and takes her to his dead body so that she can grieve before they can take him aaway. All are finally relieved. Asad is tensed to see zoya looking at her cell phone, while she is tensed that she is missing the lawyer’s phone. The ladies are distraught but they take away dilshad and shirin from there, and while all are distraught and crying, rashid is taken away by asad and haider and other male members.
Later, while haseena is lamenting at rashid’s death when she is shocked to see nikhat passing by. farhan comes in and asks why is she so tensed. haseena says that even she can see what sameera can, and tells about nikhat’s appearance, farhan is tensed and wonders whether she has gone mad too. They go the way, nikhat went.
Nikhat meanwhile, is crying in shirin’s arms, lamenting and grieving over Rashid’s death. shirin tries to compose her. Meanwhile, haseena and farhan spot two women behind the pillar and think that its nikhat and someone else. Nikhat asks shirin to never leave and she complies by promising the same. As farhan and haseena find noone behind the pillar, they are tensed, and haseena says that she wasnt wrong, and that she should go to find khushboo about it. After they leave, badi bi reprimands nikhat for letting go of her plan.
she is frustrated and says that if they get to know, then they can, as due to them, she couldnt even grieve her father’s death properly. she says that she has borne enough and now its time to end their story. badi bi says that they would do, but that wont happen which they have planned. badi bi says that today she has lost her son, but he never raised a voice against those who wronged him, but she wont let this hppen to nikhat and hence they have to get those people punished, and demands this one favour for her and for rashid. Nikhat gets emotional and complies.
later, asad calls nazma and asks about zoya. Nazma says that she hasnt seen her for a long time. He asks her to take care of dilshad. She complies. As asad turns around, he is tensed for zoya and calls up the driver and gets to know that zoya has taken him to the police station. he gets irritated and wonders when would she learn that the man isnt innocent but a murderer.
meanwhile, Haider comes inside and gets an envelope, and gets puzzled. he opens it to find some of his pics. Haider finds a photo, where tanveer is shown wheeling rashid out on the terrace, in the background. he remembers having given some pics for an interview, which also captured this moment. He is boggled and wonders whats tanveer doing with rashid at around the same time frame, that rashid was killed according to the police report of the post mortem, and comes to the conclusion that there’s a possibility that she mighht have killed rashid and mamu innocently got implicated for it. He is tensed regarding the same and wonders if zoya is right that mamu is innocent.
nazma asks dilshad to eat, while she asks for zoya. asad asks her if she wont eat if zoya isnt there, and asks her to eat something. Dilshad says that nothing has happened to her and she isnt hungry and whn zoya comes, she would eat with her. She leaves, despite asad’s insistence. But diloshad has a dizzy spell and almost faints before asad and nazma catch her. Nazma goes to get water, while asad gets dilshad to her room.
Scene 2:
Location: In the police station
Zoya tells mamu that he cant do this to the girls, and that there may hev been helplessness, but he cant do this with them and doesnt have the right to do so. Mamu says that he knows he isnt right, but then he also knows that he never was right. Zoya says that his daughter would never let that be. zoya tells mamu that she has had a talk with the lawyer, and they have a hearing the day after tomorrow.
She places her hand on his, and asks him to promise that he wont give any wrong statement to the police, uptil then. He says tht he is getting the punishment for the crimes that he has done, and he is willing to accept them in whichever manner they come. Zoya says that he cant pay this big a price. She says that she would prove that she didnt murder rashid. But she is shocked, when mamu takes away his hand from under hers. He says that he cant do this and has left all on god. he says that if he feels the lord should punish him, then so shall he. The hawaldar comes in saying that the meeting time has ended. zoya again requests hhim to promise that he wont give any wrong confession and rest she would manage. she gives a last cursory glance at him and then leaves, while he stands tensed.
Scene 3:
Location: Ayan’s residence
haider thinks that so what if mamu didnt kill rashid, but that doesnt mean he shouldnt get punished for his crimes. With venomous rage, he burns the pic, ythinking that he should get punished, for killing.
