She scolds Radhika when the latter tries to enter the kitchen without taking bath. Later, Radhika serves tea to Thammi and thinks of finishing her presentation.

When she asks Thammi for the permission to go to her room, Thammi asks her to make breakfast. She tells Radhika that the only way to impress husbands is to make good food for them.
Karna gets up and checks Radhika’s designs and presentation. He gets impressed when he sees Radhika’s work and thinks to himself that Radhika has kept her promise. He then sees that Radhika has not selected the color scheme. When Karna calls Radhika to the room, she appears with the breakfast tray. Karna refuses to eat oily food in the morning, Radhika requests him to eat.
Karna finds the food amazing but doesn’t compliment Radhika. Karna asks Radhika to complete the presentation. When she asks Karna to send the presentation to the client, he asks her to keep the color scheme ready. Anuradha questions Karna the need to go to office on the Kali Puja day. He says he will return after the meeting.
Thammi waits for Payel. She tells her grand daughters-in-law to make bhog for Kali Puja and also decorate the house with lamps. She stresses on the fact that there should be silence at home while doing the preparations. Radhika assures Thammi that they will finish everything properly.
When Karna calls Radhika from the office, Thammi snatches Radhika’s phone and cuts the call. She taunts Radhika for continuously using the phone. Radhika gets worried thinking that the call Thammi cut may have been the conference call.
Thammi announces that she will punish Payel and Radhika and asks them to take the vow of silence, that is, ‘maun vrat’ to concentrate on the chores. Thammi says that unless she allows thm to speak, they should remain mum. Anuradha gets baffled on hearing Thammi’s instructions. When Radhika mentions about the office meeting in front of Thammi, the latter chides her. When Thammi leaves the room, Anuradha speaks to Radhika about the office chores.
Just when Radhika thinks about informing Karna about the situation, he calls her. He puts her on a conference call. When Mr. Chatterjee, the client, asks about the color scheme of the designs, Radhika doesn’t say anything. Radhika thinks of messaging Karna but Thammi takes away her phone.
When the client gets irritated on getting no response from Radhika, Karna gives the excuse of Kali Puja to shield Radhika. He tells Karna that they are time-strapped and asks him to get on a call only when Radhika is ready.
When an irritated Karna goes home and asks Radhika about the goof-up, she writes a message to him, informing about the situation. He asks Radhika whether biding by Thammi’s instructions is more important than office work. Later, Karna goes to meet Moni.
Later, a grumpy Thammi grumbles when she fails to open the almirah door. Due to the movement of the almirah, the suitcase kept on the almirah comes to the edge. Radhika senses the problem and immediately pulls Thammi towards her.
