Palki, Shanaya and Gurpreet encourage Palki to eat so that she can take her medicines. Gurpreet says that Palki will become a good daughter-in-law to Preeta. She then asks Palki to check whether a waiting room is available so that Preeta can rest. Palki and Shanaya leave, and Shanaya reassures Palki that she should not worry because Rajveer will be fine. However, Palki admits that she does not think she is a good partner for Rajveer. Shanaya reminds her that love is not perfect and tells her not to be too hard on herself. Palki regrets arguing with Rajveer.

They soon notice Sandeep and the police inspector nearby. Shanaya tells Palki that she suspects someone hired Sandeep to harm Preeta. Palki wants to question Sandeep about why he called her Preeta and why he wanted to harm Preeta. Shanaya warns her that approaching him could be dangerous, but Palki argues that they are in a hospital and the police inspector is with him. She then leaves to find Sandeep.
Meanwhile, Kareena notices that Shanaya looks frightened and asks what is wrong. Shanaya explains everything, while Nidhi and Aarohi overhear their conversation. Nidhi wonders what Sandeep is doing at the hospital. Shanaya explains that Sandeep is injured and assumes that he has come for treatment. Nidhi starts coughing as she tries to hide her reaction.
Elsewhere, a nurse informs Gurpreet that Preeta’s blood pressure is low. Karan arrives and asks Preeta whether she is feeling better. Preeta immediately asks him about Rajveer, but she soon falls asleep. Meanwhile, the police inspector warns the nurse not to show any sympathy towards Sandeep.
Aarohi asks Nidhi whether she thinks Sandeep will tell Palki the truth. Nidhi confidently replies that he will because he is an emotional fool. Aarohi wonders whether they should reach Sandeep before Palki does, and Nidhi suggests that they find Palki first.
Later, the nurse asks the police inspector to wait outside while she treats Sandeep. He questions why he should leave when she is only bandaging Sandeep’s injury. The nurse explains that she needs to give Sandeep an injection and that a doctor will examine him. She adds that she will shift him to another room. The police inspector finally steps outside. Palki approaches him and asks to meet Sandeep, but he refuses to allow her inside.
Palki decides to find another way to reach Sandeep and walks towards an empty corridor. She becomes frightened when the lights start flickering and accidentally drops her phone. As she bends down to pick it up, Nidhi and Aarohi arrive and spot her. Nidhi picks up a pair of scissors and declares that she will hurt Palki to prevent her from reaching Sandeep. Aarohi warns her that the flickering lights could expose them, so they cover themselves with a blanket and switch off all the lights.
Palki wonders what has happened to the lights and becomes terrified when she notices two figures nearby. She runs away, screaming for help. Nidhi attempts to attack her, but Shaurya arrives and saves Palki. Nidhi and Aarohi escape, while Shaurya tells Palki to stay safe before leaving. He then spots Nidhi and questions her actions.
Nidhi tells Shaurya that she loves him deeply and can do anything for him. Shaurya asks why she dislikes Palki so much. Nidhi explains that Palki has brought problems into his life, which is why she cannot stand her. She insists that everything she does is because she loves him. Shaurya asks what she has done, but Nidhi questions what he actually saw. He explains that he overheard her telling Aarohi that she dislikes Palki. Realising that Shaurya does not know the truth about her attempted attack, Nidhi holds her head in frustration. Shaurya assumes that she needs rest and wonders where Palki has gone before leaving.
Meanwhile, the police inspector finds Palki and questions what she is doing there. Palki shakes her head, still frightened by what happened. She decides that she will return after five minutes and leaves the area.
Outside the hospital, a detective shows Rajveer’s photograph to some goons and orders them to kill him that day. Meanwhile, Preeta wakes up with a strong feeling that something terrible is about to happen. She insists that she wants to see Rajveer, but Karan reassures her that Rajveer is receiving the best treatment. Preeta remains convinced that Rajveer is in danger and tries to go to him. Rakhi overhears their conversation and catches Preeta when she is about to fall. She hugs Preeta and promises that nothing will happen to Rajveer. Rakhi says she understands Preeta’s fear because she is also a mother. Karan becomes emotional as he watches them.
Elsewhere, Shaurya takes Nidhi to a doctor, explaining that she is not feeling well and asking for her to be admitted to the hospital. After examining her, the doctor declares that Nidhi is perfectly fine and does not need a room. Shaurya questions the doctor’s decision, but Nidhi takes him away before the argument continues. Meanwhile, the detective discovers that Rajveer is in ICU 5.
Palki approaches the police inspector again and explains that she wants to ask Sandeep why he tried to kill her. She believes that she can obtain important information from him. The police inspector agrees to let her meet Sandeep, provided that he remains present during their conversation.
Meanwhile, Kavya arrives at the hospital and asks Mahesh about Rajveer’s condition. Mahesh tells her that Rajveer is in the ICU. Kavya rushes into the ICU and declares that she will not let anything happen to Rajveer. Dr Mayank asks a nurse to call Dr Rahul, while another nurse informs the Luthras that Rajveer is in critical condition and needs more blood. The detective overhears the news.
Elsewhere, Preeta asks Rakhi not to cry and wonders why she is so emotional. Rakhi remembers the doctor’s explanation about Preeta’s memory loss and says that seeing Preeta reminds her of her daughter. Preeta asks whether Rakhi has a daughter, and Rakhi replies that she had one before apologising to her. Preeta tells Rakhi not to apologise, but Rakhi explains that she had scolded her unnecessarily.
Rakhi then tells Preeta that she was the one who saved Nidhi and Karan and brought a smile to Kavya’s face. She apologises for misunderstanding her, but Preeta once again asks her not to feel sorry. Preeta admits that she feels as though she has known Rakhi for many years and feels like Rakhi’s daughter. She tells Rakhi not to feel bad about scolding her because she was never offended. Preeta then affectionately calls her “Rakhi Maa.” Rakhi becomes emotional upon hearing the name, remembering how Preeta used to address her that way. She hugs Preeta, and Karan watches them with tears in his eyes.
Meanwhile, the detective informs Anshuman that Rajveer is already in critical condition, so there is no need to kill him. Anshuman becomes angry and scolds the detective for giving him advice. He orders the detective to call the goon Shivu. The detective hands the phone to Shivu, and Anshuman instructs him to kill Rajveer at all costs before ending the call. The detective questions how Shivu will manage to kill Rajveer when the Luthras are at the hospital. Shivu confidently replies that he does not need to do anything because Rajveer will die anyway.
Elsewhere, Sandeep approaches Anshuman and asks him for help, explaining that he has escaped from police custody. Anshuman questions why he should help him. Sandeep says he will leave the city once he receives the money, but Anshuman refuses, explaining that Sandeep did not steal his file and therefore does not deserve payment. Sandeep then offers to kill Rajveer in exchange for money. He claims that the detective and Shivu lack confidence, but he is willing to finish the job himself.
Meanwhile, Dr Mayank informs the Luthras that Rajveer’s condition is worsening and that he needs more blood urgently. A nurse explains that his blood group is unavailable at the blood bank. Dr Mayank instructs her to arrange blood from another hospital before returning inside. The Luthras become increasingly worried about Rajveer.
Rakhi asks Preeta to rest before leaving the room. Daljeet thinks that Preeta has no idea she is surrounded by her loved ones. Karan gives Preeta a bottle of water, and Preeta tells him that Rakhi is as sweet as he described. Karan points out that Rakhi had scolded her several times, yet Preeta never reacted angrily. He praises Preeta for being a genuinely good person before leaving.
Rakhi later cries as she remembers how harshly she treated Preeta. Karan comforts her, and they go to see Dr Mayank. Karan asks the doctor to take his blood to help Rajveer. Dr Mayank instructs the nurse to collect Karan’s blood, warning her not to exceed the safe limit.
Meanwhile, Palki questions Amar about why he called her Preeta. Amar reveals that a woman wanted to kill both Nidhi and Preeta. He explains that the woman was wearing a burqa, so he could not see her face. Palki thanks the police inspector for helping her, and the inspector takes Amar away.
Elsewhere, Sandeep tells the detective that he intends to kill Rajveer and takes Shivu inside with him. Nidhi tells Aarohi that Karan has gone to donate blood for Rajveer for the second time.
